We toke my wife’s engagement ring to Kay Jewelers at Arrowhead for repair,. They have done repairs for us in the past and we were very satisfied. Unfortunately the diamond (which was my mother’s) is cracked and unrepairable. The salesman Tim was great to work with. His knowledge and professionalism was evident from the start. He listen and explain things clearly, while quickly recognizing our preferences and tastes.We ended up purchasing a replacement ring and will retire the old one. The quality, service and value provided is first rate. My wife is so excited for her new ring. Thank you Tim and Kay Jewelers!
Am convinced the diamond in my engagement ring would NOT have fallen out if the person some 17 years ago did not REFUSE to clean my rings. In fact, that person went on to tell me ZALES does NOT do that anymore. Listen on my Moms rings the diamonds are still intact. The quality of the diamonds on her rings are perfect and lasted for sixty years. The quality Zales has did not last twenty years. Zales should be accountable and foot the bill for the replacement not me. When I wash dishes for examples I dont submerge my left hand in water at all!!!! I have cleaned my ring with jewelry cleaner bought at jewelry stores including Zales. The manager at Zales we worked with for the replacement diamond provided excellent service and I dont blame her (Arrowhead Zales). Its Zales as a company I blame for allowing the person to work at the Orland Park Square Mall Zales in Illinois. Thats the person who informed me Zales does NOT clean the jewelry. I dont know why she told me that. Maybe because she did not feel like cleaning my ring. What else could it have been. Also, the quality in diamonds and rings and jewelry Zales provides says it should last a lifetime. In my case it did NOT and Zales should foot the bill for my replacement diamond!!!! Thank you.
Wonderful first time experience! We were greeted by Shahar (I believe that was her name) and she was very very helpful. She connected to us on a personal level and really made it feel that she wanted to help us and she did! We found what we were looking for and more, including the wonderful experience that she gave us. Other than that, the jewelry is beautiful!

Sooooooo disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!I placed an online order for my best friend who tragically lost her teenage son on 4/16/2020. Understandably, due to Covid shut down the sympathy gift was delayed (TWO MONTHS). Well, the sapphire tear drop necklace arrived today 6/18/2020 however, not only did my friend NOT get my heartfelt gift note that was to be included in the order, the birthstone is PURPLE not BLUE Sapphire! I called customer service to inform them they mailed the wrong item and was told I only had two options... 1) have the mourning mother go to the Mall to exchange the gift 2) have the mourning mother mail back the item and then I could reorder the necklace and hope the send the correct birth stone. I hung up the phone with customer service and called my local Kay Jewelers to see if they had this item in stock and was told it was an online ONLY item! Sooooooo disappointed in the lack of sympathy and willingness to resolve this issue! SHAME ON YOU!!!!

If I could give this a zero star I DEFINITELY would have. Customer service is horrible. I’ve been looking at engagement rings and this store did not help one bit. First time I went in, no one helped me. They stood there and seemed very judgey (maybe I’m too young) idk. I waited about 20 minutes to see if anyone would come and no one. Second time, they were sitting and eating their food without saying one word to me. Out of all Jewelry stores in that mall they were the 100000000% least caring. If you don’t look like you have money, they won’t help you. Don’t go here!

My husband upgraded my wedding ring 5 years ago to beautiful ring. As of today 2 stones have fallen out of my ring and trust me the ring was not cheap! I am very diligent in taking my ring in to have to stones inspected every 6 months as recommended. We are going on 5 months that I unable to wear my ring because the repair department is not repair old purchased merchandise from there store due to COVID-19. Which makes no since.

They even go out of their way to send an email to you for an inspection reminder... And they even have a Kays jeweler credit card which I love ... Went in with my husband. Wanted to buy me a $200 and something pair of earings for our anniversary. Hes on oxygen. The workers were standing around talking. We had to leave. Nobody came to help us. We live over 75 miles away. Might not have another anniversary to enjoy with him.

Shahar was wonderful! My now husband and I shopped several stores while looking for our wedding set. The only reason we cameback to Kay is because of Shahar! She made us feel like this decision was just as important to her as it was to us. Not once did we feel like she was selling us. There can be some other pushy sales people in that store but if you ask for Shahar you wont be disappointed. I love my wedding set!
I needed aWatch band extenders for my Movado watch. I walkedIn and Randy immediately asked me if he could help me. He went out of his way to find the exact piece that fit my watch. The piece had to be ordered. Hopefully it will be in tomorrow so I can purchase it and wear mywatch once again. Randy was an EXCELLENT SALES PERSON! Melinda has helped me and my wife for a few years now. I got my engagement ring and wedding rings through her and we love them! She set aside the center diamond from a diamond show that they had based off what I had described. She found just what I was looking for and at a great price. Fast forward 2+ years later and Melinda and Kay have our backs yet again. My wife had lost the center diamond off her ring and the warranty covered it! Didnt have to pay a penny to get it replaced. She assured us that we would get the same or better diamond as a replacement. Thanks again Melinda for everything. We will always come back to your store.

I purchased a few watches from Sara, the new store manager, and my experience there was astounding! One of the watches was one my mother had been looking at for quite awhile on the website. They live in West Virginia but were out here visiting over Mothers day. Sara helped me set up a surprise for her that brought her to tears right there in the store. I will definitely be returning to Sara and her wonderful staff at the Arrowhead Mall.

This Kay has new management and she really gets things done! Sara is the store manager now and she helped me with a concern I had immediately and expediently. I am military and was stationed overseas and unable to get my ring inspected to maintain the warranty. Sara understood exactly where I was coming from. Sara resolved my issue after I spent countless times in Italy on the phone with KAY customer service.
I recently took in my wedding ring and band, a necklace, and diamond earrings for the 6-month check up. In 7 years of doing this I’ve always had a pleasant experience. This time, unfortunately, this wasn’t the case. The associate who helped me was not wearing her name tag so I don’t know her name, but she asked for my paperwork for the jewelry (which I’ve filed away because my last 2 inspections at a different location I was told the stores didn’t need the paper copies anymore). When I told her I didn’t have it she rolled her eyes and then asked for the phone number to pull up the account. When she couldn’t find it (she had typed in the number wrong and I nicely corrected her) she got irritated with me saying there was no account. When she finally found it she then asked for me to put all of my jewelry on a wet paper towel. I’ve NEVER had them do this. The associate usually treats my jewelry with respect and puts it on one of their velvet books. She then spent a while 2 minutes ‘cleaning’ it. She didn’t bother to even inspect the diamonds on my ring. Now a week and half later I’m getting emails from Kay saying that I’m past due for my cleaning and inspection when I took them in two weeks before the end of my warranty month. I’m extremely dissatisfied with the care I received at this store and will now have to spend time and gas to go to another store to have everything re-done to ensure my warranty stays intact. Very frustrating and very poor customer service when I’ve spent thousands of dollars at this store location.

I bought my wedding band here. I was so very excited after a back and forth between two different bands I of course went with the larger more expensive band. I purchased it and got it fit to my size. I picked it up within their two week promise date and waited anxiously for my wedding so I could finally wear it. The day came and I wore my wedding band for less than 24 hours before one of my diamonds fell out of the band. I took it back to Kay since I purchased my wedding band through them and purchased the extra insurance. I explained what had happened and they took my wedding band and gave me a promise that I would be returned in 15 days in the latest. I called a week later to check on the progress. They had told me they ordered the diamond but it should be there by the promise date. On the promise date, I called when I had not heard anything. They had told me they had reschedule the promise date for another 15 days out without telling me because they told me they had to order diamonds. When I questioned why they had a promise date the sales representative just told well this is an expensive diamond and you dont want just any diamond in its place. I told her yes I was aware of the quality and the price tag of the diamond band I purchased but there was a promise date on the reciept. She could not give an explanation except I should not want a cheap diamond. I am still waiting. Hopefully the result will be worth the extended wait but right now I cant help but think they did not properly inspect the diamonds or it wouldnt have fallen out within less than 24 hours of wear

The ticket price on the earings said 749.00 and i was informed they were running a special that was 25% off. when i went to pay they said oh the 25% off is off of the retail price, which is 899.00. I feel this is very misleading. i asked to speak to the manager, he told me very coldly thats what it is and thats it. Very poor customer service. Thishappened at the arrowhead location. I decided not to buy it because of the poor customer service and the misleading sales tactics
It took three trips to get the paperwork right then they seized it from an old ring instead of off her finger and its wrong. Now they want us to pay to do it right o. A 3k purchase something is very wrong here. This is.one that may have to go to court. I am not happy at all. And I have made many purchases from many jewelry stores and have never had this type of problems..it will be the last with this company. That is the bottom line it started out good but went down from there......
For the most part I had good experiences with Kay Jewelers when I lived in California, however, this location is like the black sheep of their corporations. Ill never be doing business with them again. I do not trust their staff and customer service is seriously lacking.They have a promise date, but that means nothing to them. We were promised our ring by 7/22. Called them 7/22 they said it was in the system and we could pick it up the next day after 3pm. Well, the next day, it isnt there. Now they say it wont be there until 7/27. Having a few family friends who are jewelers, theyve told me some sketchy stories where companies will take out the diamonds from a ring and replace them with fake ones.We asked a lady who had a deep voice over the phone if they would appraise the ring when it got back from the jewelry company that does their engraving and she gave us nothing but slack for questioning Kays. She went on some rant how theyre the #1 jeweler in the United States.Well, its too bad the #1 jeweler cant respect their promise date. Even when she argued that the promise date was out of their hands and there was nothing they could do about it, I asked then why even have a promise date? Based off other reviews, it sounds like people have had issues with customer service in the past, so Im really not too surprised about this experience.

Went to there to try and figure out how much a gold band for my husband would cost. I don’t have the money yet but wanted to know how much so I could save up. I realize that places tend to not like it when you aren’t there to buy that day but the sales lady could have been nicer. She was rude right off the bat before even knowing what I was there for. I am young so she probably assumed I wasn’t gonna buy anything but while looking at the rooms she pushed and pushed me to buy a ring on credit and make payments. I told her no several times and she kept pushing and when I asked her about the average price for a gold band she didn’t really want to tell me. Finally I escaped her. Won’t be going back based on the mean pushy attitude. I’ve met car salesmen with better attitudes when selling.
I needed to have my ring resized. I went to my nearest kay jewelers. We were assisted quickly and helped by a nice associate. However; upon the time to look up our profile the associate says that it was not there. That was alarming knowing that my fiancee paid over 2k for jewelry and none of his contact information was there. How does that happen! Then we sat there and re created the profile again. The agent then took the ring from me and asked my name and my fiancees name. Proceeded to tell us that either of us could pick up the ring. And I believed him. So a week and a half later I get an alert that the ring is ready for pick up so I head to the store. I arrive and provide my ID and ask for my ring. And the new associate cannot find it. HOW is that possible?! So I provide my fiancees name and he pulls out the ring. Im livid! My name was not there like I was told it would be. This is unacceptable!! In the future you should ask people if the purchase is a gift who it is for the spelling of the recipients name and their contact information. You sell semi expensive jewelry to people who work really hard for their livings if you are sloppy like this I cannot trust my money in your establishment at all.
Very deceptive! Back in June the sales lady convinced my Husband to spend extra money on a warranty stating that the price of the warranty would be free because he would get a voucher to use between July 5th and August 29th worth $100. Today he went to use the voucher. Turns out it is not a voucher but a coupon that is good for $100 off a purchase of $300 or more. Very deceptive ! Not good customer service !

There were 4 sales associates in the store. One was helping someone and the other 3 looked at me with no response. Two of them started looking through some papers and the one that was helping someone else had to tell the associate to help me. I was there for a pickup and after I received it and asked a few questions, I was given my Item and had to ask for a bag. They acted like I had ask for something free. The customer service was very poor.

They lie to customers to get them to purchase items. White guy with foreign name and the asian woman Suki said 20% off sale was only for that day. They were pushy about a very serious purchase of a Mens Leo wedding band that was $2600. The 20% sale was going on for another 5 days as their website told on them. I posted picture of website to this location on Maps to show proof of their lies that the sale was in fact until 2/1/17. They were lying and tried to bully me into something that was supposed to be special and would have meaning forever including the memory behind the purchase and it would have been a terrible memory that they slimed all over. I have been a Kay Jewelers Credit Card holder since 2009 and have a high limit on the card and have used it multiple times a year over the last 7-8 years. I will never go back in there to buy another piece of jewelry with the Customer Service being the way it is. Plus, Jamie and Suki really do not take any pride in cleaning jewelry. I will go to Kays to make the purchase of the 2 wedding bands I intended to originally, a diamond one from the Leo family to match the $5200 Leo engagement ring he just purchased for me and a regular band for every day wear and it will not be at this location. Thanks white guy with foreign name who bullied me but didnt have a business card to hand out and Suki.

I came to this Kay at arrowhead mall thinking that because it is such a well known name I would receive an experience worth the price. I was soon proven very wrong when I learned that if you are not purchasing anything over A thousand dollars you will not be treated with appropriate service. I purchased a ring here for my girlfriend that needed to be resized because they did not have her size in stock, took 8 weeks to arrive just to have half the stones fall out within a month due to improper fitting of the stones, we than had to bring it back and wait another 6 weeks for the right ring to come back and when it finally did the rude woman behind the counter told me she remembers every one of her sales somehow and doesnt remember ours so wouldnt accept my Id as proof of purchase. Eventually got the ring back which now hold no sentimental value asside from a bad customer service experience and wasted time and money. Only reason I dont give it one star is because they did not charge to replace . As long as your willing to wait months for your order
DO NOT BUY HERE!!! In April 2016 my fiancé and I bought a $5000 LeVian engagement ring and band from the Kay store in arrowhead mall. While so happy to find this beautiful ring we were blinded of the stupidity of their employees. They told us that with the purchase of the engagement ring we would be receiving a $100 for every 300 that we spent and it would be on our account. We were like great so we bought my wedding band as well that day. Note we received $1200 in rewards money, $300 of that we got to use towards the band so we still have $900 left to use.. great we planned to use it for his wedding band. When my fiancé brought the engagement ring in to get sized he waited 2 weeks to get it back, when he went to pick up the ring he noticed that there was no rose gold on the middle halo. He brought it to the employees attention and the employee then tried to point out something that wasnt there, at first my fiancé said ok then the guy tried to sell him matching earrings and thats when my fiancé was sure that it wasnt right. He said isnt my ring supposed to look like this? The employee now grabbed someone else and asked for his opinion, they even pulled it up on the website and were going back and forth. They came to the conclusion to send it out.. again. So they send it out, he waits another 2 weeks and when he gets it back and proposes we noticed that it was not rose gold it was yellow gold.. so we bring it back to Kay and show them. The lady that works with us this time again is trying to say no no no it is rose gold its just the lighting and then I show her the chains that are right next to us and say this one here is yellow gold, right? She says yes, and I say and this one here is rose gold correct? She says yes. Ok I said isnt my ring supposed to look like this rose gold chain and if so why does it look like this yellow gold chain? She now says well if its not rose gold enough for you well send it out This is now the 3rd time my ring is being sent out to be worked on it and it is gone for another 2 weeks. When I went to go pick it up this time they have dyed the prongs that hold the chocolate diamonds completely white gold when they were darkened to make them pop. So 3 times they took my ring and screwed it up I wasnt about to make it a fourth. I contacted customer care and talked to a few different people, stormy is one of them. Stormy and I talk and she agrees to send me a new ring, I asked her to order the ring in a size 6 which she refused. She said she would transfer the ring from another store after I expressed to her I didnt want Kay to touch my ring anymore. So instead of resolving the issue right here, and order it in a 6, it continues. She transferred a new ring ( not in my size) and I pick it up from the store. I go to a different store afilliated with Kay to talk to them about my issues.. she told me to put a sizer on so I will be able to at least wear it, so she did that for me. I called customer care back and explained again that I didnt want Kay to work on my ring and asked why stormy did not order the new ring in my size. Kelly the women I spoke to today had no answer for that but she said they will not replace the ring in my size because that is not a real issue for them even though I have gone through so much. She told me that I would have to send my ring to LeVain to get it sized which takes anywhere from 4-8 weeks. I am extremely upset and dissatisfied with how Kay treated me after spending so much in their store and going through all that I did. I do not recommend to anyone to go to Kay and buy a ring. The people in the store are un informative and dont really know about there products. Every person you ask will tell you something different. Oh and to add on top of all of that we lost out on that $900 of rewards money because they failed to tell us it expired in July.
It sucked could even get credit and I have a well paying job, full time. Ill take my business elsewhere. No thanks
