We took our vehicle to Mr. Mike because we were having issues with traction, braking, and lights being on. He looked over everything to try and find a solution. Come to find out the last time the tires were changed there was a wrong size tire put on, we have no idea how it happened. Mr. Mike let us know what was wrong and told us to let him know if we needed anything else. He is professional, kind, honest, and hardworking. We were not charged for anything which was a real blessing. We will definitely be going back if we ever have any issues with our vehicles again. It’s hard nowadays to find people that truly care about their customers and make their customers feel valued but Mr. Mike does.

AAA transmission picked my car up. I thought my trans was out because it wouldnt shift into drive or reverse. Mike informed me he added 3 quarts of fluid and it worked fine. Dear Mike (and Robert),I cannot thank you enough for the honesty and kindness you displayed when fixing my car. When it lurched forward twice and wouldnt change gears and the overdrive light kept flashing, as I was on the interstate, and I just knew the car was a goner. We rolled right next door and you went over there the next day, tried it out and took it to your shop. Not only did you find out the only trouble was AC condensation dripping into the electrical system, and fixed it, you must have taken off the door panel when you pulled up the window and tore off all that old tape. I can see so much better now and will get it fixed asap. It was dangerous! I had to find a way home that day and a way back, but it was really nice driving up and seeing the car I thought Id have to scrap. You could have taken advantage of my lack of knowledge, but instead you did what was best for ME, and you wouldnt take a dime for it! I pray you be blessed incredibly for your kindness and mercy. In this day and age its hard to find honest labor. If I had a dollar for every time I was burned by a mechanic, Id be n the same tax bracket @ Bill Gates! Mike and Robert over @ All-Star Transmissions just got a new customer! I dropped my Wifes Navigator off for a busted rear air shock on Tuesday and got it back 2day! Affordable price, great work performed, and kept me n the loop throughout the entire process! We will definitely be taking our vehicles back if and when we need future repairs. Ill say this folks, if you can, take your vehicle to this place. I had a problem and was told it was my transmission fluid being low and i took it to them. Came back to pick my car and mike told me it was just my battery terminals that were loose and as such doesnt give enough voltage to the transmission. He did not charge me anything. I know for sure Ill be bringing my car to this place henceforth. Ill make sure to tell others about this place. Honesty is something i value so much and they are honest!

Wow! Amazing shop. Both Michael and Robert are courteous and knowledgeable and their prices are very competitive. I especially appreciate their integrity and professionalism.In 2012 I had them rebuild the transmission on my 180,000 mile vehicle - there were no surprise extra charges along the way. In Jan 2015 I had a serious problem but their warranty had expired. When I called they honestly seemed surprised and apologetic. They repaired the transmission for a fraction of the price their competitors quoted and to top it off gave me another years warrantee on the entire transmission. Very impressive. I highly recommend this shop.

Hands down the best customer service Ive ever had at any vehicle repair shop. The level of transparency is second to none. My 2007 Chevy Suburban transmission suffered catastrophic failure on the way to drop off the kids at school. After handing over my vehicle to Mike, he was upfront with best and worst case scenarios. The transmission needed to be rebuilt and he actually called me to see if I wanted to go in a see the damage they found in the transmission. I was not able to go in, but he and Robert saved the parts and let me see them and ask questions when I went to pick the vehicle up. It is hard to trust a car mechanic, but these guys have earned mine. I have already recommended them to friends and family.

I got recommended by my mechanic to go by this place and have my transmission looked at because I was getting a check engine light and the error code was related to the transmission being stuck in overdrive.I gave these guys a call and talked with Mike over the phone about it. He mentioned that my van (Oldsmobile Silhouette) can have a glitch sometimes with this error code and I should have the code cleared before making the trip up... I thought --what no way but what do I know. So I took the van back to my mechanic and cleared the code and still a month later NO ISSUES. Mike saved me a trip down there and showed true customer service! They could have easily taken the van and charged me for simple fix.If they are willing to do that to a NEW client to help me out. These guys are out-standing in my book and found a customer for life! Recommend all the way!

If you want professional, reliable and economical transmission work, I highly recommend All Star Transmissions of Glenn Heights. The transmission on my 2014 4WD Silverado failed, and they successfully completed a very complex equipment failure. Joe Crouch

All lights on our Honda Pilots dash board popped on along with the transmission light. We started experiencing problems with the way the engine was running on top of the lights coming on. The Honda Dealership told us to bring it in to them and they will hook it up for a standard fee somewhere between $130-$150 to diagnose the issue. We called Christian Brothers Automotive to see what they could do to diagnose the issue however they referred us to All Star Transmissions since Christian Brothers Automotive only replaces transmissions but does not work on them. All Star Transmissions immediately got us in and reset the computer and cleared out the codes and took it on a test drive and that addressed the issue. More than 2 weeks and still no issues with our Honda Pilot. All Star Transmissions refused to even charge us for the time that was spent on our vehicle. I would highly recommend All Star Transmissions to anyone in need of transmission work.

Best service, best deal, honest repair!!!We are from Austin, and on the day of the YUGE weather change Saturday December 17, 2016, we were enroute to Arlington AT&T stadium. North of Hillsboro on I-35 past Carls Corner, the whining sound began. And thus began our journey of panic-stricken-long-ways-from-home-journey-car-transmission-fail. Exit 377 with smoke spewing out the back and fluid splashing below, up to the rear window of our Honda Odyssey, we were unable to figure out the source. The car would start but not move. It took us 15 minutes and a 35 degree winter temperature drop to realize we desperately needed help.We were buffered by the fact, even though it the middle of nowhere, the LTHS Cavalier exodus was riding the same route to the UIL Football State Champs. We alerted our allies, a Gurley rescuer would meet us at car drop site. We got a tow (that broke down enroute to Christian Brothers in Waxahachie). When CB finally diagnosed the problem, they put AllStar on the task of a transmission repair. Our Odyssey then transferred up to them another 10-20 miles north.We did make it to the game (yay, Cavs! State Champs!) with our rescue and eventually got a rental back to our home in Austin. In the meantime, our Odyssey transmission went through the service,flush, fill and rigorous road testing. We emerged with a bill reflective of maintenance and returned to find our vehicle in sound condition - no rebuild, no replacement, no lies, no cheating,no stealing.We were lucky and smart by pulling off asap. We were totally blessed to have these guys save our car and our Christmas! Life is hard sometimes but these total gentlemen gave us the best they could. Although I probably tested their patience by questioning them, I must say trust is a big deal in car repair, especially transmissions, where repairs can run $2500 and much more. The Odyssey is driving better than it has, purring like a kitten at all speeds.If you are in need of transmission work of any kind, these guys are worth the distance even if you live a bit further away. I cannot thank them enough. May they have a blessed Christmas, The Happiest of New Years and the business that they have rightfully earned.

Took my car here and loved the seevice I got and the price was cheapest I could find around but the fall dowb was I bought the cv axle and they put it on did not notice until after they put it on it was the wrong cv axle which I mean it fit but it was for a abs cv axle but my was no abs cv axle and so they decided to put it on my toyota with out telling me it was the wrong cv axle yes it was my fault because I got the wrong part but you think sense they work on cv axle and transmission they would of catch that but did not so next I just put the axle in myself instead of taking it to the shop waste of 60 dallors so I bought the right axle and put it in my self now they car in top shape fast service at this shop but make sure to bring the right part or they want tell u and they will put it in ur car with out u knowing it I found out by a guy at work that it was the wrong part and all star tranmissions shop should of told me that instead if just putting it on the car when they took the old cv axle they shouls of notice that it was the wrong cv axle I was wondering why my car was pulling and that was the reaso. Why but now sense I fix by myself it drive straight what a waste of money

Where to begin?Explained to Mike (Chavez-owner) that its scary for women to visit transmission shops. This was a great experience.He drove me around to diagnose my issue.Put my car in the air to show me issues.Didnt charge for the one hour analysis and adding a quart if transmission fluid.And is seeking the part I need for the permanent fix!I was so happy & impressed. Simply felt I was treated more like family than even a brand new customer off the street!I super-duper, highly recommend All Star Transmission in Glenn Heights. Ten stars!
