The units are safe and we loved the fact that they provide the heated car garage to load and unload your things also they always have the carts to transport your things and the automatic doors make A HUGE DIFERANCE when hauling big furniture. I chose this storage facility after extensive research and interaction with staff from several other storage facilities due to several reasons. From the first conversation, it was clear that Melanie and her staff are extremely committed to working with all customers to ensure highest quality of service and customer satisfaction for each and every customer. Her knowledge, professionalism, and outstanding customer service set her and life storage apart from other competitors. I highly recommend Life storage in in particular, any location in which Melanie is involved. I dont know who reads or receives these reviews however it is my hope that someone at a higher level of managment will read these and be sure to both acknowledge and reward Melanie for her excellent service.

Very nice clean place. Easy access from the road and to the indoor unloading areas. The day I rented my unit Robin was great. Very friendly and explained everything. He took the time to show me around the place, explained the process and was in and out in about 20 minutes.

The black and GREEN Life Storage facility / across from APT electronics in Glenview is a brand new facility. The manager of the store, Valorie, is helpful, knowledgeable, and conveys a sense of pride in her job. Compared to other storage units, it was nice to find that their 5 x 10 units had a WIDE 10 foot door. Past experiences with storage lockers included small entry points and narrow / deep units. You will be impressed with their facilitys layout as well as their professionalism. Go LifeStorage.

Valerie at the front desk, was very friendly, efficient, and really helpful. The facility is new, super clean and the temperature & humidity in the climate controlled storage unit is correct. They could use some more carts. We had to hunt for a cart. Overall, a nice facility with reasonable storage pricing.

The units are well kept, but staff never seem to be around when they are supposed to be.If you don’t want to wait around for hours, I would recommend calling ahead. Otherwise, you can never know when staff will eventually show up.

UPDATE: I brought a concern to the management that was from another unit that was effecting me and in return they blamed me and kicked me out. All of the items needed to be thrown out for my own mental safety so, in the end I stored items and faithfully paid my rent for nothing in the end.The only kind thing they did in this process was allow me to use their dumpster as a courtesy.Note: My original review said that they were clean, that is only because they were brand new.Original Review:Had to quickly get my dads stuff in storage and was cramming in a bunch of storage facility visits and Life Storage of Glenview was BY FAR the BEST! I knew as soon as I entered... Its clean, new, well maintained with great service.. And the best perk is the heated loading dock!!!! All the things you worry about at other facilities (heat/mold/summer/winter/rodents etc) has all already been thought of by these great proactive folks. I will never rent anywhere else again.Thanks for being awesome!

Staff is very friendly and helpful; manage mail and packages with safety and care, even during busy seasons when many are delivered in a short timespan.

Valerie was very personable and helpful in finding the right size and location of storage unit I needed. The indoor loading dock is great and the entire complex is clean and well lit. Compared to other storage places I have used in the past - this one is definitely a cut above and reasonably priced. I highly recommend it.

Lifestorage Glenview is a great facility, reasonable rates and helpful staff. Kassi, the assistant manager, was fantastic. While searching for the right unit for my wife and I, she showed me several different units, as well as elevator and access locations, and gave me very helpful tips to make this move in as pleasant and easy as possible.

The facility itself is clean and well kept, but the elevators are small. The reason that this place gets low reviews is that they are deliberately difficult to deal with. Long story short is that if your card does not go through, they call non stop and still charge you a late fee. Once they get a good card number from you, they will not save it in the system. You need to go down to the office (no telling when the office is actually staffed) and give them a new card. I would have pulled my stuff out of there a while ago, especially when they keep raising rates, but it is too much effort to do that, which is of course the whole business model.

This storage facility is beautiful, it is kept clean and the staff is amazing.

This is an excellent storage facility. It is clean and new, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It is clearly secure, and in a nice part of Glenview right across the street from Abt (gives you an excuse....). Price was more than fair at 50% off the first three months, which makes it well below similar facilities.

I highly recommend going elsewhere. Rates go up every year and they change the contract without informing patrons. The security gate is very often left open, my belongings smell like stale cigarettes and are full of saw dust (carpenter to the left and chain smoker to the right). The front office is not very service oriented. I have been requesting a conversation with a GM for months to no avail. Go elsewhere.
