Love this place! While getting my boat serviced in Goldsboro, NC, I needed to find a light to help me back my boat into our HOA coral after a day on the water. There are no lights and I learned it is very difficult to back in at night or even in the early morning.I found this awesome headlamp that you put on your head, but it can also be used as just a great light. The staff was very helpful in helping me determine what light to purchase, I was looking at a spot or this headlamp. I asked was there someplace dark I could compare the two lights. They were very accommodating and nice in helping me.I’ve always tried to be kind to folks in retail, because I’ve worked it and I know how sometimes customers can be a real pain sometimes, and now since COVID some feel like they have to be even meaner. It’s nice to see folks being kind to one another in very difficult times. I will say this, this store in Goldsboro was a lot nicer than the folks at my store in Wilmington, sorry guys, but it’s the truth! Good stuff, great prices!For you, let’s see....How about “Start This Feeling,” from my last release, “Do You Know My Friend.” Just an upbeat song that you can dance to!

Its Harbor Freight, if youve been to one you know it. If you havent been, you should go to one. This one has very good staff.

In December 2019 i went in to buy a air compressor. I needed a bigger one and the store only had one left that was used and out of the box on the sales floor. Since it was opened the employee sold it to me and rang it up as a 5 lb air compressor and I paid $80 for the two year warranty. It recently stopped working. I took it into the store this past Thursday to exchange it. The employee told me there is nothing she can do I would have to come back Saturday when the manager was in bc the receipt did not match the product. Today i went back in and was all but called a liar . They stated there was no way i got that compressor for that price. I had the receipt with the date and time and ask them to pull the cameras in which they refused to do so. I even had a picture with the same date as the receipt in my phone of that compressor. I was refunded what i paid for the air compressor but They would not refund me my warranty nor would they honor my warranty. I spend so much money in this establishment I can not believe the poor service i received today. I will be contacting corporate and possibly a lawyer. I advise everyone to shop here with caution as they obviously are not a company of their word and have NO VALUES.

Tools are great and priced right, but if you have to go to the restroom take cleaning supplies because the staff had not cleaned it for days.

They offer affordable tool brands at reasonable prices. You can find a little bit if everything at HF. If you budget does not allow you to buy top name brands give HF a try. I have personally purchased some power tools along with Pittsburgh sockets and wrenches. I have never had any trouble with them, just remember you get what you pay for. If you expect high end tools with budget pricing for everyday use I dont think you will get that here. If you expect medium quality tools at budget cost for occasional use then Harbor Freight is a great option.

Im sorry to have a bad report but to take neatly 100$ for returning something note use just opened the box is to me like you took advantage. I asked the manager and an employee about return policy before I took a chance neither one mentioned 20percent return. I think the gov. Should regulate you way of doing business. You dont have any sign up where new customer can see it. Then you point it out on the receipt after that fact. My friends said you are loosing lots of return customer by your practice. And have started blogging you . Sorry again but I feel as though cheated me out of something. I wont go there again and I hope someone will start a class action suit against you. Copy sent to all my contacts. Sorry again you practice is unfair.

This location has poor customer service and no sales associates to help you find what you are looking for. I was told they are discontinuing the discount coupons and are going to require customers to join their club in order to get the discount? I guess they are going to a Sams Club type shopping experience at Harbor Freight? Good luck with that because I will not be back!Went back to this location and its only gotten worse since my last visit. They had 3 sales associates and they were huddled up talking so I was told to go to register 1 and someone would be right with me. Well 15 minutes later no one was there and then when they did show up they couldnt help me on register 1 I had to go to register 2 and then it wouldnt take my debit card so I said you dont have to worry about me coming back to this location because everyone here is incompetent and cant help anyone. Amazing they have lasted this long and I hope they dont continue to do business in this manner or they will run themselves out of business!!!

Every two possibly known to man it is fingertips what a wonderful place

Went here to pickup an Air compressor. Winterville had sold out so called to Goldsboro and they had one in stock. The lady I talked to held it for me to come pick it up, so I took the 45min drive to get it. Came home and took it out the box put the wheels on it and the lube in it. Let it run for 30mins like the instructions said and it works well.

Needed some items and they had what I needed at a reasonable price.

I love Harbor Freight Tools but you have to be careful of some of the products that you buy because some of them arent as durable as the other big home improvement stores. You can usually find what youre looking for at this store.

Staff is very helpful and offers help to load items inside your car or truck. Prices are competitive, stock in store is excellent with all kinds of tools, generators, lifts and much more. I bought a hydrologic lift table. Shop and go, same day is nice.

This is a new store open in the Goldsboro area. My first visit to this store but not to harbor freight itself. I will say store is new clean bright and well stocked. What I will give kudos to are the employees that work there, helpful to the point of allowing you and helping you bring up coupons for overall percentages off as well as specialty coupons. Without a doubt went into Goldsboro area I will return to the store one of a kind as far as employees are concerned.

Good products at low prices. Not everyone can afford the prices of the big name places. All the products i have purchased are still being used years later. And you cant beat the replacement warranty of this place.

The only thing about this place is they need shopping carts outside for people that need to be able to push them in and also they need better parking right at the door

I took it back, but didnt even try to put it all back in the box I did have all the packaging. Big discount vendor - I was skeptical. Please excuse the busy, I tried 5 minutes after they opened and the store was pretty full already. Good tools for many different industries and hobbies at great prices. The coupons make great deals even better! If you are shopping for tool storage be sure to check with an associate to see if it is in stock in the color you want. A lot of them sell same day they arrive as someone may be waiting for it. I got extremely lucky as it was in stock. There are several other mechanics where I work who have as many of their tools as I do. No real dissatisfaction with any. If in doubt get the warranty.

Many different items, many not available anywhere else locally. Although some things appear to be less than top quality, everything there, I believe, would be more than adequate for home use. I have bought many items, and am happy with everything. As they have many unique items, I find it useful to go up and down each aisle. My only complaint is employees dont seem to know where specific items are, or if they even have specific items. On two separate visits, I inquired about items in a flier. The employees I asked didnt know if they had it. One one occasion I told them I looked for a specific items but couldnt find, and was told that if I couldnt find it, they probably didnt have it. I dont know if they have a system to look up inventory on hand, but Im not inclined to ask for help in the future. Overall I an happy, and recommend this store for the variety of tools and equipment.

This is a typical Harnor Freight store. I have never been in here to shop. Its in the same parking lot as our gym and also Hobby Lobby. I would assume that they carry the same stuff as other Harbkr Freight stores and they do have sales occasionally. I have seen them advertising sales. They have remained open during this time so you can check them out. Check reviews of others who have shopped here.

This is my personal Nirvana! I could spend way too much here! My wife has to keep me in check! They have so many neat and useful tools. I constantly find things that I didnt know I needed. Prices are so great you want to buy it all. Make you you sign up for the coupon books. They help make prices even lower. Each book also has coupons for a free item. We all love free stuff!!

Baffled by how calling and asking to pay for an item over the phone was met with an explanation that is for my safety that it can’t be done “in case the store sells out and there isn’t one in stock to be picked up”. It’s just a guess, but if you get the item, ring it up, accept payment for the item over the phone, and set the item aside off of the sales floor with a note that says paid for and the name of the person to pick it up, that could insure that the item is available when the person arrives to pick it up. I realize it’s a new store, but come on!

Inexpensive tools for the DIY projects on a budget. If you are completing a project at home or on your vehicle once, this place is perfect. You wont get items rugged like a Craftsman tool with a similar guarantee, you will get things that will last several jobs but not forever.That is the flip-side of buying less expensive tools. If you are a casual do it yourself person who needs something quickly and cheaply, youre in the right place. If you are a contractor who needs to use the item 100 times, you might need to spend a little more $$$ elsewhere.That said, I have several hand tools for light use I got there (ratchet screwdriver, things like that) and I dont have any complaints after 6 months to a year

This has become my go to store for all my automotive tools. I shop confidently knowing Im getting a good price. Items range from welding, car accessories, spray guns and accessories, and more.
