After multiple bungles with my order, forgetting to give me my dolly, sending me out with a truck that had a gas cap/CEL notification I finally thought after a wasted hour I could finally get loaded and moved out of state. Instead there was a part missing on the top of a gas tank causing fuel to spill everywhere after filling it up so quickly Im out 20 dollars or more in fuel. So I call this location as soon as I was made aware at 6:35PM and they choose not to answer the phone for remainder of their hours of operation. Now I am unable to load this truck until tomorrow when I can swap it out and now must pay per diem for our rental house and now dont have help to load my entire house... by myself. I dont even know where to start but I absolutely regret not using another service and will gladly pay double to another one. This set me back several hundred dollars and a lot of aggravation. The pictures posted are from taking one single corner. The headache from inhaling gas fumes is fantastic too.

I would not recommend Coming to this U-Haul Because of the experience that I had with a gentleman unfortunately I did not get his name but he is a 5 foot eight Hispanic bald man. When I went to get my unit they said I need to go put my pen in and I went to go do that and it did not work because it said the box has been tampered with I go back to talk to them and they say it’s normal that I don’t need to enter my pin so now I’m wondering if my unit has security and he said it was normal so I was not in front of that then I go back and there is a green tag on it and I tell him there’s a lock on it and he goes along or a tag very rude very condescending and I go a green tag and he goes well that’s a tag that’s not a lock is it? Very ignorant.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. the manager, Manny is a liar. He almost totally derailed my attempt to move out of my house on time when I had new people moving in, mortgage companies, realtors, the county recorder relying on it. Dont give them your business.. I also had a storage unit here and we had bugs all over the ground of our unit, they should do a better job at pest control. If you need a truck get it from Gold by the Gram Pawn Shop over by Luke AFB, not these guys. they were awesome.

This place will absolutely screw you on a gas scam theyre running. Before they rent you the vehicle they over exaggerate the gas gauge with the assumption you wont notice then even when you refills 3 the tank to the level it was when you got it their computer will bill you for the imaginary gas you didnt replace. For me it was almost $20. If you have ANY OTHER CHOICE avoid this location.

Thank you Joe for helping me out about thee weeks back! I had rented a 4-wheel carrier to haul a VW Van back to San Diego. When the the purchase went sour you graciously were able to refund the charges and unhitch the carrier. It was an exceptionally hot day and you allowed my friend and I to cool off inside before making the trek home empty handed. We need more people like you in this world! I was renting a 26ft truck with just the app but I had a few questions and I ran into this employee named Joseph. He was extremely helpful and patient with me while simultaneously being able to help all the other customers around me as well. I know there are a few locations in Goodyear but I recommend to everyone to go meet with Joseph and see just how easy and stress free your rental experience becomes with Joseph. Also from one vet to another I know Im Army and youre Air Force, but thank you for your service brother, and thanks again for your help.

What’s the point of curbside and not offer it and not even have the stuff ready. If I wanted to get the boxes my self I wouldn’t of done a pick up. Top it off wait for 20Minutes for kids just to be sitting around chatting.

Id like to know why U-Haul charged me damn near $100.00 for gas when I have proof that the gas tank was returned with the same amount that I rented it at. Before I pulled off of the lot, I disputed the gas tank during the inspection. I called the customer service line and they couldnt figure it out either. I will never use U-Haul again. You may have my card information, but you do not have permission to use my card for service I didnt use. I now have to call my bank to reverse the charges on my card. You all are a bad joke.

Dealing with this Uhaul has been frustrating. Just wanted to warn people to make sure you ask for contracts of your rentals, storage unit etc. They had said they were going to auto charge my credit card each month for storage but didnt. Months later they called, told me my payments were late and charged me a bunch of late fees they were unwilling to remove. Poorly managed facility so make sure you have your contracts!

First off, the review is not of the customer service, or equipment quality, but of the ridiculous policy of not being able to remove the trailer from your hitch after hook up, until the move is completed. I am towing a 6 x 12 about 800 miles to Northern California for a permanent move from Phoenix, and I need to look for a house when I arrive. It would have been nice to unhitch for the possible week of house hunting and not have to worry about that in the back. Will not be using Uhaul for that again. Be thorough when renting from them and ask as many questions as possible.

I reserved an auto transport online and from the moment I walked in, I felt like a valued customer. Manny greeted me as soon as he saw me and informed my he would get to me when he finished with two customers ahead of me. In just a few minutes it was my turn and he efficiently and effectively talked me through the rental process. I signed on the dotted line and was outside in mere minutes. Connecting the auto transport to my car was also smooth and seamless. Upon returning the rental, Manny again made the process quick and easy. I cant say enough about his professionalism and desire to make my experience the very best. Because of him, I would definitely rent from this U-Haul again.

I had my boat trailer lights go out. Called to see when I could come in. Staff told me exactly when Robert... wiring guy.... would be in. I showed up and Robert checked everything out thoroughly and found a blown fuse, which he promptly replaced. To my great surprise he told me no charge. It is so great when find true service. Rented a trailer a few weeks back. EVERY detail that I put in my reservation was ready at time of pickup. Very polite and helpful staff too. Equipment was clean and well maintained. 5 Stars!

Got a reservation on April 10 for a bike hitch installation to be done on May 5. Called at 10 a.m. may 4 to see if the hitch was there and was told it wasnt but the manager would call me later. Since I hadnt heard from anyone at, I called back and Allen said he would be sure that the manager would call me that evening. On may 5, I received a text confirming the appointment for that day. No one called on the 6th so I called the uhaul at 303 and northern and Kyle said that the hitch was in town at the warehouse. He called me later, said the hitch was there and I went over on the 9th for an installation. Obviously there is a lot of managerial incompetence at the mcdowell/citrus location and quality management at the northern/ 303 location.

All around, a great storage facility. Exceptionally clean, consistent temperature control, easy in and out and very helpful and accommodating office personnel! I highly recommend this facility.

The guy at the counter with the full beard has very poor customer service skills and should not be assisting clients. Makes you feel very uncomfortable is snarky in his demeanor.

This U-Haul is clean and organized. Dealt with Barry, he was very nice and polite. Explained the rental process to me where I could understand. When we came to pick up our reservation, the young lady who helped was very short and to the point. Not rude, but not exactly friendly.

Excellent facility and staff. Rented a trailer today an unbeknownst to us the wiring harness on our car was faulty in addition to several wires having been chewed by some animal. They went out of their way to find and fix both problems and didnt even charge us for all of their extra work. If you need to rent a Uhaul or Storage unit this is the only place you should go. For a family who moves every year or so, and rents equipment often we tend to stick with uhaul despite the outrageous prices. Last night we needed to rent a truck because the seat in our Yukon broke and we had to pick up furniture. After going to 3 locations this one finally had one we could rent. The $20 truck plus mileage should have cost us about 55. They charged us an additional 40 bringing our total to 95. After 18 minutes on hold Ive finally spoken to someone who was not helpful what do ever. We will never use uhaul again, this is insane. Worst experience Ive had.

Confirmed reservations while standing in their store. Every reservation from Uboxes to truck to moving help has been messed up. Im now stuck and still fighting bad information.

THEY LOST MY RESERVATION! I made my reservation a month ago at this location. Came in today to find out they didn’t have my reservation... how do you lose a reservation made in person? Then I find out they have no more units. To top it off, it was the General Manager Manuel Garcia who apparently incorrectly made my reservation. If that’s the type of person running the location, I can only imagine what the rest of the staff is like. I will never do business at this location. I would take stars from this location if it was possible.

Friendly, helpful people. Very clean facility and convenient docking area. Uhaul may be a little pricier than some others, but you get what you pay for and more at this location.

Everything you need to move, but a bit slow on service. Prices are generally much better on moving supplies versus a hardware store like home depot or lowes.The classic thing at this branch is to only have one person working the front counter, then it takes this one person 15 minutes to check a truck out to a customer. This means if you just need to buy a few boxes you end up waiting a long time, even if you are the only person in line.

We ordered a truck online and when we arrived they didnt have it available and we had to take a smaller truck. Also about halfway through our move, the exhaust separated from the headers filling the cab with exhaust fumes. They did not provide any type of apology or offer us a discount for the troubles.

This was the worst experience Ive ever had trying to move in my life. The manager who claims he is the owner named Manual Garcia was very rude by coming to my house because his employees decided to run my debit card the weekend after it was suppose to be run, so the funds were no longer avail and when I gave him another bank account card, after checking the truck out longer he calls us back 3 days later saying that the current card on file wasnt correct. Which is only because they still had the old card on file, he never updated the new card into his system. So he calls us up at 6:30 in the morning threatening us, we took the truck back to him clean as it was given, and tried to pay, as he refused he said he would just mail us the statement and then banned us from ever being able to rent from uhaul again and sent us a bill for $400 for the use of the truck that was suppose to be $24 a night for 5days.Then he kicked us out and made us walk home after we told him we were calling the police on him. Do not go to this place they have a bunch of kids who dont kbow what they are doing running the show, and a rude, unprofessional manager who xlaims he doesnt need our business, but will get us to pay through another way.

Well manny is a rude inconsiderate thief. Our experience with this insignificant mini poops cant be trusted our truck had a leak in gas tank and leaked from la to good year. Manny had to lie to go thru our items removed it from the truck with out consent or auth. While moving my items from truck manny and employees felt the need to steal medications that were in a spacificate box with electronics and items we placed together that were personal items to us. We received half of out items searched thru boxes opened and stuff stole and our medicines that we required to take for terminal illness. Manny told us not to worry and that everything would be fine. LET ME SAY THIS MAN WENT THRU OUR BOXES AND OPENED AS IF MY STUFF BELONGED TO HIM. I CAN ONLY SAY I WOULDNT DOUBT IF HE GOES THRU OTHERS STORAGES THAT ARE ALREADY THERE.. THATS JUST UNPROFESSIONAL BIG NONO

Well mannered employees brand new facility read the contracts very self explaining, sometimes people that are inconvenienced far as having to move can be in a rush and dont read the contracts and theres where the problems rely U-Haul is and has always been a do-it-yourself moving business thank you.

Horrible!!!!!! Liars!! I was waiting for my house to get build. After months of having my stuff in storage, I called to let them know I would only need it a week after my due date. The guy on the phone told me they would prorate and only charge me for a week. When I went to the store to pay for the week. They told me I had to pay for the month.
