My new favorite book store its nice to have a local bookstore with books that reflect me and my family.🙌🏾

PSA: If you havent been to Turning Pages in Goose Creek, SC yet, you need to go. Such a sweet and well-managed store! The only black-owned bookshop in SC, soon opening a second location in Summerville. Visited today and my little book lover heart is full. GREAT atmosphere and you can do book readings/signings as well as have small gatherings if you speak with the owners! They are all the things we love about shopping local and supporting black-owned businesses.

A cute book shop with a great selection of children’s, YA and currents. I especially appreciate the focus on black writers of our time and the owners where very helpful in recommending books for my toddler. I’m finally reading James Baldwin!

A black owned bookstore, which I heard about on NPR. Stopped in on the way to the beach. Got good beach reads and Stacey Abrams new book. Going back next weekend for Stacey Abrams romance novels.

The staff there was very helpful and knowledgeable about topics and ideas for me and my family.

My daughter told me about this cute little bookstore! I buy all my books here now! I love it! I dont have to go to the mall or leave the Creek!

You dont have to live in Goose Creek to have the pleasure of meeting Tasha. I called Turning Page Bookshop from Miami, Florida. Tasha was so helpful and lovely to speak with. Together with her coworker, Arrylee, they took the time to locate the books I was interested in purchasing. The price of the books and shipping was very reasonable. So glad to see a local bookshop opening up in Goose Creek! The owner of the shop was kind and informative. It even looks like theres going to be some sort of coffee shop opening up in the store as well. Highlights include book clubs and a punchcard for book purchases--after ten books, your eleventh book is 25% off. Altogether a wonderful shop and I will be returning.

Very disappointed. I was so happy to have a book store in goose creek. Bought a book at full value price come to find out it was a used book from a library in Ohio. Found the receipt in the pages of the book. That just seems in bad taste to me. If your selling used books books thats fine but make the customer aware and charge used book prices.

This adorable shop is located in at 203 E 3rd N. St. in downtown Summerville. This shops focus is on books written by and about people of color. In addition to other popular titles, there is a selection of works written by local authors. There are also games, toys and learning materials available. You can order through their website as well. The manager was delightful when I visited on 11-5-21. We are lucky to have a store like this in the neighborhood. Im so glad I stopped in.
