Amazing quality of meat. Very cheap. Very nice and courteous staff. But holy cow, the hours are god awful. Getting in (especially when youre an off shift) is like pulling teeth.

Great place. When its crowded on the weekends it moves pretty quickly. Well if your in the Goose Creek area your not gonna find a better place to get your assorted meats. Steaks, Chicken, Ribs, theyre all good at a fair price. Bought some pork chops other day and were best ive gotten in while. Go early because theyre popular and it gets crowded fast. Worth wait if theres a line, trust me.

Burbages is really good for meats but honestly I remember the prices being much better cheaper comparably better and cheaper in relation to supermarkets. It seems like the savings compared to grocery store has decreased since last time I came. Yes they are cheaper but not as much as we recall.

Gets very crowded at time, but service was quick no more than 15 minutes in and out. Employees service was immaculate! Meat was fresh no issues.

Always have the best selection of meats, the staff goes above beyond to keep their customers safe during this pandemic. They go above and beyond to make sure your happy with your selections of meat when you leave. I love this business and Im there at least 2/3 times a month. The manager is extremely nice and I love the fact that she comes out and actually works with her employees and is always there to answer any questions or concerns you might have.

There was a short wait here and I can see why. Its not because the employees are slow. Its because the meat is reasonably priced and absolutely fantastic quality. The staff is attentive and helpful, the butchers are knowledgeable, the selection is very large, and honestly I cant say enough good things about this place.

This was my first time visiting. Very clean and the customer service was amazing. They have all kinds of cuts and meats. Good prices too and the quality looked great too. I dont know if its always as full all the time but due to the pandemic they are limiting the amount of people inside at a time and the wait was a little long, horrible if you have to wait outside in the 90 degree heat.

Absolutely love this place! It was our time going and due to the pandemic we thought it was going to be crazy. Total opposite! The staff was amazingly friendly and very well organized. Everything was clean and neat! Unlike going to the grocery story I swear i didn’t see one fly, nat, nor any other flying thing. We heard about this place from family. We drove over an hour to get there and I’m so very glad we did. I love the commissary but definitely got a new meat spot ☺️

Worth the wait! We get there right at opening and usually wait 1+ hours to get in but trust me...worth it! The prices are unbeatable and the freshness is beyond anything youll find at the grocery store. You can get almost any kind of meat (turkey, pig, chicken, cow, rabbit, etc) and they will cut it to your liking. Favorite place to go!

Always reasonable prices with the best product in town! It is the only place we buy our meat from! There is usually a line, so be prepared to wait, however it is definitely worth it and the staff are very efficient.

First time there. I was able to walk right in. They had the cut of meat I had been looking for but couldnt find anywhere else. Great service, awesome prices. Huge selection. Not your average butcher shop. Dont expect beautiful marble floors and stainless steel countertops. But it is clean and the meat is fresh.

Went Friday 11am. FABULOUS butcher! Prices same or LOWER than all food stores, outstanding selection, butcher cut my bone in Prime Rib to order as well as 1.5 thich pork chops, fantastic ground beef. All around this Jersey Girl was impressed, & I will only buy all meat here from now on. Outstanding customer service as well!!😃👍👌

I refuse to buy my Meats from the grocery store anymore. This is the only place Ill go. The quality of the meat is better and you cant beat their prices. I stock the freezer with every kind of meat/ cut Ill need to make any meal every time I go. You dont have to buy in bulk though, even if you buy one or two steaks the price is still better than the grocery store. The staff is awesome and organized. I just cant say enough nice things about this place you have to go!

Love coming here. Its close to home and they have a huge selection with decent prices. We like to load up for two weeks. Make sure you read the hours because they are only open four days a week.

Super-fresh, mainly local meat and poultry of all types at more than fair prices, with some great bargains to be had, as well as specialty cuts that can be hard to find at the grocery store. With an abattoir out back, you know you are getting meat that was walking around hours or days before.The place is always clean and smells fresh, and the employees are always friendly and helpful. More petite shoppers, myself included, may have trouble seeing the employees over the high counter, but the display cases are tall to make viewing all that gorgeous meat easier. Just wave your hand and talk loudly. Pointing is totally acceptable, and saying things like, The third one back, towards you is encouraged.The quality of the red meat they sell is far superior to that I find at the grocery (less fat, smoother muscle, and more flavor when cooked), and the chicken wings are the meatiest around (not fatty). The house-made sausage is fantastic, especially the chorizo, sage sausage, and onion sausage links. The onion links grilled and squirted with some mustard are heaven on a bun!The packaged goods like bacon and frozen veggies are priced lower than the grocery store as well, and they have some fun convenience foods like corn dogs and mini-pizzas.Be aware that they dont take cards, only cash and local checks with ID. I am lucky to have this place minutes from home, but even if youre from away its worth the drive for the quality and value for your money.
