The parking lot is not laid out very well in my opinion. That is not a problem if they are not crowded.They put way too many items in the middle of isles. That makes it a less than stellar shopping experience. Again this is not a problem when the are not crowded.On the positive side they do have cashiers. I applaud them for keeping some cashiers on the payroll. The store is usually fairly well stocked and clean. I like shopping here.

I just stepped into Walmart to pick up a prescription just moments before they closed at 7:00 they were still very helpful and friendly even though it was about 8 minutes to 7:00. We we made a few jokes laughed and I went on about my business I purchased a few extra items while I was there. Average for a walmart. I used to order my groceries from this location, but I have since started using a neighborhood walmart in hopes that maybe Ill get more accuracy on whats actually available inventory wise. Constantly running into issues with substitutes and out of stock inventory here. I will say, major props to the grocery department though, as theyre always prompt and pleasant to deal with. Even had two of them thank me for turning my vehicle off while they load into the trunk. Apparently thats not a common practice, though it should be.

It was a quick in and out they helped me check out fast. They had some nice talk and were friendly. Only downside is the bathroom, it wasnt as clean as I would hope

Its Walmart what else can you say. The local Walmart here is terrible about keeping things stocked up but I think right now that is typical everywhere. Customer service is not the greatest but then again it depends on who it is youre dealing with.

Had some tires put on my RV. Very helpful personnel. From the auto desk to the mechanics, I would highly recommend

Dont buy anything from the electronics department for same day pick up online for this store! They will cancel your order two hours later because they sold it. The manager will offer you a product of lesser value and not remedy the stores mistake.

I found what I needed, with assistance. Also, store assistant was willing to discount nearly outdated salad kit. Another outdated kit (expired previous day) was not sold, yet was still available.

Pickup was the absolute worst. Waited in our car for 40mins before someone came out. Then another 15 before someone came out with our order. We did this for convenience as my husband and I work full time and share a car. It would have just been better to go inside. DO NOT ORDER PICKUP FROM THIS LOCATION. 0 stars

My orders are usually perfect but when you say no substitute they really should listen. I order certain things because thats what I want. If they dont have it thats fine but dont give me something I didnt order.

I dont like walmart stores,.

Just a bunch of dead beats there, kept trying to get help getting a fishing license and kept being told bye 7 different employees that it wasnt there department buy was sending help. After a little over a hour of this, went to Moncks Corner and only took 15 minutes there.

I am from out of state. I look at this Walmart not in comparison to my local one but as a stand alone store. No set method to make shopping easier. No or not enough sales associates to help or ask questions. The customer service at checkout was totally absent. The cashier had to be told to clean the counter because it was completely wet. But this is where I start lumping all Walmarts. It seems that customer service piece is lacking and they are always blocking the isles stocking and are rude about.

It would be nice if they would follow their own hours! The Styling Salon was completely closed, and a greeter told me it had been closed for weeks. I did not try to schedule ahead on line because I read a review that said the salon did not seem to know about or honor appointments made on line, nor did I call in advance, so thats on me. But their website showed Open and the busy as it gets times so i made the 25-min drive to get there...for naught.

Stocking product as marked or with a temporary barcode is suggested if you cant keep the bulk of orders where they are designated to be . Also when you have an Uber pick up you should have the order ready as the driver is told and then upon arrival is told the order is not complete. It would be great if the uber driver could get a notice as soon as the order is ready . Waiting for incomplete orders has been a huge issue . Also your staff has as greeters are friendly . Your staff in any section of your stores on the floor have poor service/greeting skills . 85% are not asking if they can help you when they are within 15 feet of you. Half of your cashiers would rather put an item without a price to the side rather than go look or call for assistance finding the correct price . Label each item separately if possible. ???

New Employees are earning a better wage and the store is still a disaster. Employees need to stop blocking the aisle with their carts. I quess Wal-Mart forced out the older crew who were actually friendly and more efficient? Wal- Mart lacks in customer service and they need to bring it up to Publixs level to stay in the game.

We LOVE this Walmart location! Always fully stocked, fully staffed, and seems to have a better selection in many departments (clothing, crafts, and the seasonal/clearance areas to name a few)! Although we live very close to the Walmart on Rivers and the Walmart on Dorchester Rd. we find its worth the short drive to do our Walmart shopping at the Goose Creek location. It is always very very busy here no matter the day of week or time of day.

While Walmart is not known the cream of the crop of shopping, this store is at bottom of that list. No real customers service and store, including parking lot is just filthy. Not worth the few pennies you may save.

The store is always clean & the aisles are marked so products are easy to find.

Need more cashiers. I hate U scan.If I wanted to work, I would apply for a job.U scan isnt designed for people with disabilities that use the handicap carts to shop. The lines are outrageous where a cashier is on duty, lucky to see two or three cashiers working at the peak hours of the day or night.Its rediculious, to shop somewhere and your ice cream be melted before you can check out!!!

Unlike a lot of other Walmart stores, I have had several good experiences at the Walmart store on St. James.

This store has truly went down. I and many customers are very disappointed. The customer service is horrible the lines are long. Seems as of the CSS and M1 do not care. There is no haste to open registers. The cashier I had was on the phone while ringing up customers and the manager with the yellow jacket was joining in the conversation. The front end needs a clean sweep with new managers and cashiers. The only convenience is that I live nearby. Thats all. Pitiful! Poorly managed store

I had a major situation with something I purchased for my son for his birthday and when I told Andriene the evening manager what had happened she jumped through hoops to help me. Amazing person. Thank you so much.

Went on a Saturday afternoon and it was very crowded. Spent most of my time in the grocery section but no matter where I turned I felt like I was constantly running into people. Also seemed like they were restocking so that added to the congestion. It was my first time going to this location since I was in the area but I wont be back.

Pharmacy is the best. Always there for help with questions. Best to come in and see them. Not the best at answering the phone when with a customer. I appreciate the one on one! MORE WHEN I HAVE A PROBLEM. Maybe they can designate a line just for problems that can get answered quick, BUT IM SURE IT WOULD GET ABUSED FOR NON IMPORTANT THINGS.

Surprisingly good for Walmart! Lots of items in stock, check out lines werent too long, VERY nice staff, and a pretty good experience. I was worried but it turned out to be great. I will go back for sure.

Love casually strolling and finding a deal! The kids/ infant clothes are plentiful. The fresh produce is awesome with lots of organics to choose from. Only down side is dressing rooms are still closed due to Covid ..which is understandable.

Even though Walmart is open until 11:00 p.m. if you would like an item that is behind a glass case you have to get it before 7:00 p.m. I was unaware of that. Makes it near impossible to get my sons birthday present because of work schedule. Also I was informed at the checkout register that it is card only. No cash. Now I did have a card available to use. But Im worried that other people who do not are going to be in a bit of a pickle.

I’m a customer that shops at the local Walmart on regular and they never have what your looking for in stock and the employees are extremely rude. When you call you can never get hold of any of the managers and thats ridiculous. This store needs a new management team and employees that truly care about the guest.

Love Walmart they have everything that you need but I wish youd go back to the old Walmart everything on now I guess I call it Chinatown

Walmart is cool no problems or issues other than the fact that I hate working for them for free. They have mostly self checkout even for people grocery shopping or you can wait on the two lines that actually have people working them.

Isles full of pallets and trash. I have a job and its not cashier so why would I want to check myself out. Company treats employees horribly and dont pay squat in taxes. I avoid Wal-Mart as much as I possibly can and encourage all my friends to do the same.

DO NOT get delivery or pickup from this store. I have had multiple issues of sitting waiting for my order for hours and given attitude from employees saying they can’t/ won’t help. To orders that said they were delivered and it never came and now a plethora of missing items and the store won’t update the tracker and corporate can’t help they say because the store needs to update. Between corporate and the store they play the blame game on everyone else without wanting to resolve anything and the store historically will never answer the phone.

Walmart needs to clean that store up. I was there the other day and it was Discussing. I wont shop there. Until it looks better.

As Walmart goes - Meh. Just is what it is. In the tri- County? This is one of my least fave stores/areas. Overcrowded.

Lines are better than most Walmarts and the cashiers are usually more polite.

They need to do a better job with shopping carts. I counted 4 carts with bad wheels including mine. Food lion keeps thier maintenance on shopping carts up.

The shelves were bare, didnt have usual supplies that we normally buy. Garden center was closed way before dark. No cashiers for handicap check out.

It was very nice and quick trip in and out.

They treat their employees horribly. Also if youre the richest family In America dont make your employees ask for donations for thr Childrens Miracle Network when you Yourselves could fund all of their great work with children and not even miss it. Its pocket change to you people

Finally the coffee I was looking for was available. I guess everyone in America is loving blueberry coffee. I wish they had EOC (Eight oclock Coffee) coffee but they had a great substitute. Nice and clean store.

Pretty crowded but its the holiday weekend. Things were easy to find and the cashier was really nice.

Has a good selection of items and is more organized than Summerville Main St however the grocery/pick up is very delayed and I almost never get my items.

If I have a cart full of things are they gonna pay me to check out myself ? Im goung to start going to my local hardware and grocery store, sure it may cost a quarter more on each item but there is friendly customer service!

Quick in and out! What I was looking for, Premier Protein peach flavor, was out of stock. The good news I found out though is Amazon sells it cheaper and delivers to my door the next day. No need to put myself out in the public where not everyone wears a mask. Win for me!

I’m not usually a fan of Walmart in general, and I cannot speak to the shopping experience at this location, but I do want to recognize the Store Manager, John, for helping me with a situation. He was quick to respond and willing to listen to my concern, then offered a solution that was genuine. A strong manager makes all the difference in an organization’s operation. I can only assume after my experience with John that he runs an outstanding location!

For a store thats in the same county as Lake Moultrie and Lake Marion, where BIG cats are caught ALL the time, the inventory for catfishing was quite disappointing. Everything else was 5 star.

I really like this Walmart, they are better stocked. Excuse me if any of my other reviews say something different. Goose Creek Walmart is better stocked with grocery than my other option

Self check outs half work or they wont take cash

The makeup dept is TRASH! Products opened and unusable. Newer makeup rarely makes it to the displays. The store has monitors in the aisles watching shoppers...is anyone actually paying attentions to those monitors. I literally watched 2 women open several lipsticks, swipe them on their hands, apply them to their lips, and then replace them back on the shelves! Step it up management. Its frustrating knowing new makeup releases are out and advertising they are in Walmart but NEVER show up in this store.

This is my favorite Walmart. Im a full-time crossdresser. I mainly know where the womens department is, I know where they got womens shoes are and I know where the beauty section is.Yes I get a lot of different looks from multiple people.

I was able to find everything I needed and checked out in the self-checkout within 15 minutes. There wasnt any long lines, and the associate was very helpful, pleasant& courteous.

I did get a pair of pants for $1.00 🤑🤗. So I brought 2 pair 🤗. Theres not much of a selection on herbal plants. I enjoyed browsing around, especially in the kitchen ware dept,. They dont carry rose water which was my reason for going. Experience was ok. My treat was a hot dog for $1.99, which was very tasty. The register counter was so filthy, I refused to place my items down, as I asked the cashier if she could wipe the counter. She couldnt find the spray nor towels to clean, so I held my items for her to ring up. Thank God I was out of town visiting or I would have seen a manager on duty. Overall its Walmart and you get what you get and leave. The hot dog calmed my nerves, as it was so tasty.

This Walmart dont have anything anymore and is short staffed as well

What can I say whats not to like. Besides the rest of the customers 😉 This is a great store and I never leave empty handed 🙂

No registers open, only self checkouts most of which were not open for no reason. I try to avoid Walmart at all costs, don’t mind paying more to shop anywhere else. Unfortunately they had what I needed in stock when others didn’t; so had to put up with this place.

Went early, so it was not crowded. In and out quick.

Pharmacy Staff & Service is top notch.

Very convenient location, just wish the shelves were always stocked.

I really enjoy shopping at Wal-Mart. The only issue I have like I say is the problem with the ride along. I really think walmart needs to invest in about 30 more. The other thing is there always getting the online grocery list wrong. Instead of them have people who specifically who calls customers to check to see if its 👌 if they want the substitution that there suggesting before sending out something the customer dont want. For instance! I ordered 12pk of cream sodas they substituted it with 2liter diet cream sodas Really Wal-Mart! Like my dad ALWAYS told me whenever I have a problem work it out Wal-mart. Walmart is my get away from home spot. I was a little upset 😡 about having to wait so long to check out. The lines were long and staff was short. Also, they advertised being able to walk in and get the vaccine for the next phase (12-15) but when we got to the pharmacy we were told they didnt have the Pfizer for the young people. We would have to go to other stores 45mins to an hour away.

I go to Walmart all the time and they just about always have what I want. Walmart is always my go to, and this one didnt dissapoint. Great staff. Clean store, even the clearance section was clean. Had me surprised. I come to this walmart a lot and will definitely be comming there again.

What can I say...like to shop here however I am disabled and sometimes have to wait in my car nearly an hour for a motorized cart. Then you get into the store and the checkout lines are ridiculous because they only have a few actual checkers working and the rest are self checkout. Great if you only have a few things, not a cart full!!!

They NEVER have enough manned checkouts opened. There are more self checkouts that take away JOBS! Company-wide plan-o-gram for the water flavor pack section has been under reset mode for months! Cant find any of the Great Value brand packs in any of the decent flavors anywhere!!! Not happy at all!!!

Stockers were blocking the aisles with carts and boxes . They even had the aisles blocked so you couldnt go down them and they were not about to move . Not enough checkers so you stand in line a long time.

They always have what I need and love the self checkout quick and fast.. weekdays late at night is much better because its less crowded and less contact.
