I stubbled upon Star Beauty in Goose Creek because the store where I usually shopped was out of a product. No disrespect, but I had become accustomed to the Asian arrogance and the disrespectful following you around the store, but this place was very different. The staff was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and respectful. There is no feeling of being circumspect. I have returned many times and every time the treatment and environment is the same. I knew it was time to give this review. Sisters and brothers this place is worthy of patronage. I am not aware of any black owned hair supply stores in Goose Creek so I have to support this store. They have earned my business.👍🏽

The consistency of Star Beauty’s customer service is so appreciated. I’ve been a customer for at least 5 years and on each occasion when either I’ve visited the store or had to call for an inventory check, the staff is always so welcoming. In addition, their abundance of inventory never lacks.

Great selection of wigs, attendant was nice and helpful, and it wasnt crowded. They had hand sanitizer at the door. They dont let you try in the wigs anymore because of COVID but thats completely understandable. My niece found a wig she liked, and I found one that Ill go back and get.

My new go to they have just about anything and its not always pack like most hair stores. You can always to the counter and show them what youre looking for. They are very helpful and friendly.

Jay, last week, I provided a review of only 2 stars and made a comment that I felt as though your Mom could be more friendly to her customer base and recommended that she smile more. I was providing constructive criticism because she never smiles in my opinion. Showing appreciation to your customer base is a wonderful idea if people are still spending their hard earned money during Covid-19. What some hair stores fail to realize is that their customer base is not always APPRECIATED. A ton of women have beautiful hair but still enjoy versatility. In turn, I believe that you made an attempt to correct the situation regarding your Mom by commenting that you viewed the camera and assumed that the person who gave 2 stars got into a discussion with your Mom regarding her phone and not wearing a mask. I want to inform you that I am the person who gave 2 stars and I am not the one who was on the phone and I always wear my mask. Your assumption was wrong. It would have been more beneficial to you to accept the fact that it was my opinion that your Mom can be more friendly. Please dont defend the behavior, just ask her to smile. Assumptions are not always right. In my opinion, you want the public to believe that your Mom was unkind because the customer gave her a hard time. That was not the case at all. I have always been a silent non- combative customer and she can do much better in my opinion. If it makes you feel better, she is a lot better in this location because she was so unkind when you were located at the other spot in the same plaza until I refused for years to purchase anything from the store. The integral difference in me coming back was the nice young lady who works there and sometimes you.

I bought Naled Nature Brazilian Virgin Remy Hair from this establishment Saturday, Jamuary 9. When I went to get my hair done the same day, I was told that the hair should be wavy/ curly already and that the hair was not the best quality. Before purchasing the product, I requested the best quality of this type of hair. I attempted to return the hair as the clerk directed when I bought it without me even inquiring about refunds or exchanges because I was already familiar with most of these types of places mode of operation. Even though the hair was not removed from its original package, the clerk immediately gave this as the reason that he would not refund or exchange. It was no surprise to me and because I know how this group treat its customers, I had already purchurased the same kind of hair from another seller. Prior to returning. The clerk was also extremely and needlessly rude and kept reiterating rudely with his hand up Good by. It goes without saying that from now on, I will NEVER, EVER visit this business again. I will go where I am appreciated, and I am treated with respect. There are too many of these kinds of businesses that we support and make possible for the vendors to just survive in this world for anyone to have to subject themselves to such vulgar trashy behavior. If I could have rated a 0, I would have for poor, disrespectful, classless customer appreciation and for conveying false misinformation. To add to what I said, I did not use the term you people. Verbally or on wrotong. That is a simply untrue, and for you to write this attests again yo your character and verifies my review. You are making an incorrect generalization, once again your backwards attempt at defemding your actions is just an attempt to justify your poor treatment of customers. You may say refunds or exchanges, but you create excuses for denying it by using COVID as your patented response. Nowhere is that in writing. Again, the hair was NEVER, EVER taken from its original packaging; you can be defensive forever, but that will not change what is true--poor customer interactions misrepresentation of store policies.

Lots of hair beauty needs here! Much more than other locations in Goose Creek. The staff is very helpful when asking for the location of items or substitutions for unavailable products.
