My husband and I are from West Virginia here visiting family, I happen to find this store for my husband we wanted to cook for our family and needed certain things to fix a Puerto Rican meal, this store is awesome. We have plans to stock up before we go home. The people were so very nice and the bakery was fantastic very delicious!!! Love this store wish I could take them home with us!

They have a lot of Hispanic foods to choose from: breads, meat, canned foods, and much more. Fresh tortillas made here. Service is fast. Price of goods is moderate. Parking space is sufficient. They have a mini restaurant inside with minimal seating space.

This place is somewhat unassuming from the outside as looks like a simple Latin grocery store. It actually has some of the best bakery items anywhere in Alamance county! You pile what you want on a tray and they charge you at the register. Also has plenty of food options but you might need some Spanish to decipher the combinations.

The cashier ladies are so unfriendly, rude and they look very unhappy being there. If I come back is cause I love going on the weekends to buy my MENUDO. Bad customer service as well and if I could I wouldn’t even give these ladies one star, Plus the Owner of the store, I’ve seen her buy Mexican drinks and other food products at the Mexican section at Walmart and sells it for a higher price at her store, I don’t think that’s fair taking advantage with her own people so I just get my Mexican products and DRINKS at Walmart and just go to plaza Latina for my menudo, chicken or tamales.

Unique store with some grocery items and a very small produce section. There is a butcher in the back as well as a prepared food station. They offer delicious grilled chicken and other options like tamales and plates of food. To the left side of the store is a mexican bakery with delicious varieties of sweet breads and some savory options. They also sell pastries and cakes. It is popular in the Latinx community.

Great place for Mexican small plates, like tacos, tortas and a very tasty grilled chicken. The pastries are excellent and well. Its a store also where you can find all kinds of ingredients for Hispanic cooking. Prices are a little higher than a regular grocery store.

The girls at the cash register look miserable, they are also very rude!!! Wish they can get some training or find a new job because they dont even smile.

If you are looking for a very bad service... This is the place to go. You get rude service at the little restaurant they have, rude service at the bakery, the worst service at the register. All personnel have a lack of personality and should not be on the customers services. Probably training will help.? They all seem to be very unhappy to have a job. Personnel of La Plaza Latina, have it ever occurred to you, that if it wasn’t for the customers that walk into the store you wouldn’t be in business and you all wouldn’t have a PAY CHECK???! So yeah never coming back here and will not recommend this place..

I was able to fet my pernil for thanksgiving at a great price and the butcher knew how i wanted it cut

I dont speak Spanish, yet I am able to get by here. They tend to have some foods that I cant get at the chain stores. The whole grilled chicken they serve on the weekends is great.

Some of the girls act they to good to be working there and others are friendly

I really like shopping at this place because of the bakery but a few of the staff members need to be a bit friendly some of them look so miserable and only a couple are friendly. Also, their prices are going up very often so Im not liking that.

Service is lacking but has a variety of Mexican products that are great.The meat market and the guys who attend you are very nice and they cut the meat to your liking.

The bakery is well suited in the morning so if your going to get some bread then be there B4 midday otherwise the selection wont be that great, they also make birthday cakes..... really good ones and theyre kitchen is exceptionally good.Plus they have a Meatery so its kinda a one stop store.The only downfall to the store is that its rare to get a decent casheir at the front register with a Ginuwine smile and and good character attitude.Thats just my two cents on that

Best mexican grocery store in Alamance! Their kitchen is the best part! Their kitchen is profesional! (You can see it!) Its always clean! They have the mexican touch for the food... delicious!!Their bakery is awesome! We cannot resist the bread smell (best smell in the world).

The weekend fruit combos are good. Piña locals GREAT! But the pastries, although ok, use a cheap oil or lard product that leaves a bad aftertaste and film all over your mouth.
