The customer service at this location is top notch! Douglas in the windows and doors department has the best customer service I have had in a very long time. He was knowledgeable, patient and still managed to assist others while keeping my needs in front of him. The customer service desk has multitasking champions. They were so quick, detailed and got us on our way with our pick up order. Lastly, the check out personnel was so kind and got us what we needed. I am so thankful for the great people that work at Home Depot in grand junction.

Home Depot’s paint department has an exemplary employee, Judy. She has assisted me many times through the past few years. I respect her warm friendly attitude and her incredible knowledge of paints and painting helpful tips.Recently I waited to ask her questions about painting OSB board I had purchased at Home Depot. She was assisting a group (5 or 6 family members) who were very upset with a paint purchase they had made and used but did not follow manufacture’s recommended procedures. The project was a disaster and they wanted someone to blame. I listen because I was standing right next to them.My background is 50 years in the retail auto business, most of my career as a sales manager or general manager. The study of excellent customer service has always been a passion.Judy is one of the finest examples I have watched. She worked so hard to help, explain and satisfy these obnoxious tag team members (they really did take turns). She called the paint manufacture on their behalf. She was able to work out a solution for them. She is one of the best, if not the best “people person” I have ever witnessed.

Their a lot friendlier then the ( L) store and at lease your not as slow as snail sh%$

This is my choice for ALL my home improvement projects. Just finished taking out most of our carpet & installing new lament floors. Home Depot had everything we needed.

My experience at Home Depot was great. The lady that helped me was very good. I bought a washer, dryer and refrigerator

I was trying to get 2X6 10 footers, the little remaining on the floor we’re warped and broken. I asked an associate if I could get the pallet brought down, he said sure, you’ll have to wait for this driver to be done because the other driver was being a spotter. There were multiple other associates who could’ve switched him so the other driver could help the customer. I then waited for them to finish up in another isle, the driver finished, went and parked the forklift and walked up to me asking how many I needed. I said a few, I already got 5 and the rest on the ground I cannot use they were warped and breaking. He goes there’s plenty on the ground you can use. I then said I’m asking you to just bring me down new ones, that were right above in the rafters. He then refused and started walking away. This is the second time I’ve had an encounter with the associate along the same lines. I said I want to talk to the manager he said I’ll gladly get James. A simple task to please the customer and ensure they have great product turned into the worst experience I have ever had at Home Depot. If you need lumber brought down just know it will be a fight and an awful encounter. This employee caused a scene in front of other customers and employees with zero disregard, if I was his boss I would definitely fire him because he does not know how to work with customers or hold him self in a proper, respectful manner.

This Home depot has everything. I usually make a list before I go. They have friendly employees willing to help if you need anything. Its a big store, youll walk around a lot, so wear comfortable shoes. I especially like the garden center. They have a great selection of plants and supplies.

Really friendly lady at the front but couldnt find it employee in the rest of the store to save my life

Customer service was lacking at best. I waited over 30 minutes to get help in flooring only to have them send over a young girl who was less than enthusiastic to help me. Then when I needed help in lighting the associate who I was getting ready to ask my question to was interrupted by a male customer and the associate walked away from me as if I wasnt even there. Maybe if I had the right genitals getting help wouldnt have been so difficult.

They usually are well stocked on the items I look for. Not always though. Price of roofing screws is ridiculous. Can get the same amount of them for half the price at different stores. Over all they have a clean store and usually cam find help if needed

Worked with Luis in the Flooring department to purchase carpet and he is great! He was able to answer all of my questions and really help me out! He was also able to save me money by calculating exactly what I needed. Thank you very much!!!

I rarely opt for the trip to the depot lately... it seems really difficult to find anyone with specific knowledge about plumbing, electrical, etc... but they do get 5 stars because, once youre actually able to find something youre looking for in there, its probably a nice one... whatever it is. The rest of the 5 star rating is for the cutie I saw in there filling online orders the other day. Shes awesome. Super nice. Great attitude... great smile, and more than willing to help literally everyone... she kinda made my day. Hire more of her please 😁

VERY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER (now ex-customer). I had to call several times to arrange someone to come out and measure my entire house for new flooring. After paying the $50 fee, receiving an email confirmation and having my realtor standby the whole day (as I wasn’t in town) no one showed up. This was after I called the day before to make sure they were still on schedule, to which they said ‘yes, the installers will call in the morning’. I left several messages with the flooring department since and the last time asked that a manager call me so that we could discuss what happened and I have yet to hear from anyone. Seeing as they can’t be bothered to call me back, I’ll take my business elsewhere, good way to lose $10k in business.

I received a gift card for Fathers Day from my daughter that lives in Denver. Ive tried to redeem it last week at the store. I did hand it over to the cashier but the digits were covered in glue and cashier started to scratch it with her nails first and seconds later with a coin. She erased cards PIN and handed it back saying that she cant redeem it because PIN is scratched out now. OK. I asked if they gonna replace it. She told me that I need to go to customer service. Went to customer service and found out that they wont replace it without the original receipt. OK. So let me get this straight. Home Depot employee destroys my gift card, makes it unusable and their only response is: we cant help you without the receipt. I dont like it at all. Not a good practice. I dont think I will be returning. LOWEs IS A BETTER STORE

Got the chairs that we ordered, and they delivered them to the car. My gripes are as follows: 1. See attached photo (why get vaccinated?) 2. They fly two flags currently at half-staff, which is great. However, they are so low that they are hitting the roof awning, which is both tearing up and dirtying them. Unintentional, Im sure, but still disrespecting Old Glory.

Mixed bag of experiences. Sometimes Ive had terrific help from the associates and the pro desk, other times not so much. I like small hardware stores better for customer service, but they dont always have what I need.

We had to walk around the store for 10 min to find someone who could help us. Then he told us which aisle to go to but didn’t offer to help us find the exact product we needed. We ended up walking back over to him to ask more questions and he still didn’t seem to want to help.

I went to Home Depot to get plywood to put under mattress the staff would not load it or tie down they said it was not there job. I called Home Depot and was told that loading and securing was part of their job. I have some health issues and could never have loaded and tied it down. I also have gotten wood from this Home Depot in the past and it was not a problem. If there was a policy change and they are no longer able to help which I don’t think that there was because again I called the store and asked but if there was they could have offered delivery options or help to find a solution instead of “ that’s not my job”

I was very impressed with how helpful the staff was here! A couple employees didnt know for sure what I should get for my project so they found an employee who did. That employee walked me to each aisle and showed me what I would need and explained why. Im very happy with the experience I had. I will for sure go to home depot before trying Lowes or Walmart in the future. Thanks home depot!

Out of stock on a lot of electrical items, otherwise usually a good store. Garden center is well stocked, and flowers are in good shape

Would be nice if employees knew where items were, was told 3 different things on where an item was, never found it. Happens all the time.

Bought a new Whirlpool Refrigerator only had it for 2 weeks but it is so noisy that you cannot even think.Home depot would not let me return this because you only have 48 hours to return appliances.Lowes lets you return for 30 days.I will never buy another thing from Home Depot unless they make this right.

Ive ordered cabinets and drywall from here and both were damaged quite a bit. It seems that they are not treating things with much care. 6 of my 30 sheets of drywall had large gouges taken out and 3 of the unfinished cabinets were broken in various ways.

Ordered kits for the kids. HD let me know they were ready for pick up. Called when I got to the store & the staff brought them out promptly! Very pleased!

I wanted to say that my Homedepot in Grand Junction Colorado is awesome. Tonight I had a situation that I left my bag of screws that I just purchased on one of the orange carts and I called to see if they were found. Shaylyn was so kind and told me to find her tomorrow at 2pm. I actually drove back over to search the parking lot. When I had no luck I went to talk to one of the employees at the door. James was so kind that he let me in the store to fix my problem. Robert helped me locate all the screws I needed for my project off my receipt. I am so grateful to the employees at Homedepot thank you for your kindness and helping me . Shaylyn, James, and Robert thank you so much for your time this evening.

Really disappointed in the service. Purchased shower door. Initial door - very quick to ship, when we picked up it was laid flat yet box said very clearly to not do so and it was shattered. 2nd door has been delayed for weeks. Home depot says its on the shipper but does NOTHING to reach out and figure out why its not been shipped. Im doing the work. Its holding up an already misersble home improvement project thus furthering the misery. The only thing we are offered is compensation AFTER we pick the door up. Sad thing is I know this comment will mean nothing because Ive already done a survey and, would you believe it, nothing....

Do not come her if you want horrible service! I came here to start my home remodel. First purchase was new doors. I was here it 5pm on a Thursday. No one was available in the millworks department to sell me doors, found out pro shop people who are suppose to be there until 6 were also gone after 45 minutes of waiting and no manager answering it left. Came back Saturday to order the guys in millworks acted like it was an inconvience to him for me to be making the purchase hardly said anything to me and then I told him I would be leaving around 7 am the day I needed to pick up. Got here and the doors werent ready waited 30 minutes and the doors are all damaged. Stay away!

Great Customer service. Within seconds we were asked if we needed help. Employee stayed near the whole time to answer all our questions. Once we made our decision he went to get the microwave and discovered that it was not in stock. Gave us several options including checking with another store location. Definitely will be back soon.

I love home depot, but dont ask the older lady in doors and windows for help shes rude. Ask the lady at self checkouts for your military discount. The several people in the paint department have been very helpful

The stored is always cluttered. It just looks sloppy with products/ladders left in the aisle (especially tool section). Usually there is only one manned check out the rest are self serve which means a long wait.

My favorite part is the birds that hang out in the garden area. They make me want to buy plants. My daughter and I only came to buy laundry detergent and carpet cleaning solution but went to se the birds first.

Wish they would offer more plants like lowes. Not as good of prices as lowes but the management is wayyyy better. Organized, good service for the most part. Got all our major appliances here. Store is well managed.

Waiting in the long long line to buy one thing and I cant go through the fast check out because they dont take cash and I dont use cards. Really frustrating. And then my change was all in nickels because they cant keep a proper cash drawer. Last I checked cash was still legal tender. I shouldnt feel discriminated against because of how I pay.

This is not a bad location by any stretch but their pickup and delivery solutions definitely leave you wanting. A simple order I could have gone to the store for that was in stock took over a week to coordinate its pickup. I do not know if the local store is at fault or their system- but either way it was enough to knock off a few stars.

You can do amazing things through Home Depot Grand Junction, Colorado. Creative power and such great stock as this! Shapes up all types of exciting improvement activity. One star off in observance of the simple truth that you are often on your own, so educate, do your study, have good sources & resources and this store is a four. Grand Mesa with her autumn leaves, field flowers and snows- the Monument, red rock, sage brush and little running gecko lizards, the Bookcliffs show multi colored mustangs and when you gotta paint theres as many colors, just about, down at the paint department.

Luckiest day of my life! Getting off work to look at tool boxes that I wanted to buy after tax returns, got helped out by great people, after I explained I wouldn’t be able to afford it until my taxes, they told me not to worry about it and donated the tool box to me for free! Never had an experience like this before and will be definitely buying my tools here for now on!

It was a pleasant shopping experience except I couldnt help in the cement department. I walked half of the store before I finally found someone. Thats the only problem we had.

This store was busy when I went in but still had a associate approach me to help so was in and out in no time.

100% waste of time. We needed assistance . They sent the most ignorant kid to help. Then he told us to wait for his supervisor. Who never showed up. When we finally did receive help so that we could buy a shed they have in their parking lot the guy told us they dont sell them and then also told us the only way to buy one is with The Home Depot credit card so yes they do in fact sell them and its the only way to buy them is through them. They are simply to stoopid understand the words falling out of their own mouths. We accomplished nothing in 45 min just standing there for no reason. Ill never go back.

The space at this home depot is crammed into a building that is to small. The product displays in the aisles look disorganized and and not lined up neatly or straight. Get the feeling like I am in a grungy mom and pop store that has to much stuff and not enough staff to keep it looking good. The lowes is town is a complete opposite.... I shop there unless there is some deal that draws me to home depot because it is less stressful to the senses.

Pre-ordered an rototiller and it diddnt come with all the parts, waited for over an hour while they called around trying to figure out what to do. I finally had to leave hopefully they actually call me back with a fix but Im doubtful

I like this Home Depot, it is clean and the staff are helpful when you ask. You often have to seek them out though, which is why they get an average score. One is required to wear a masks at all times in the store. There is no enforcement, which sucks for all customers because it tells me the store doesnt respect all customers but rather our financial contributions and purchases.

I always love coming here. I have so many projects I would like to do so I come here to get my supplies.

Waited 45 minutes in the bathtub section Home Depot waiting for somebody to help me after Id been to the front counter to ask several times for help just to find out that what there inventory says they have isnt true and they dont have the product that I came for

I do this Home Depot all the time, on average it is fully stocked with the shoes you need, the staff in general is friendly and knowledgeable.

Sad to see how poor their customer service is. Across the board. Reminds me of the old commercial where the employees run when a customer approaches. You are all there to assist the customers. Thats what you get PAID to do. Do it.

This location does nothing to enforce a mask policy. Considering it is located in the middle of one of the worst outbreaks in the state it is just unbelievable that they would be so inconsiderate of both their customers and their own employees.I wish I could say that Lowes was any better but it isnt. I will be taking my money to a local store that exhibits some consideration for my well-being and that of their own employees.

I ordered on line and did a pick up with my car. The hardest thing was getting my email up. A lady helped out and the order was there in a timely fashion.

If they arent going to have a enough employees, they should at least have prices on merchandise, and have it in the right places It is a terrible place to shop.
