Terrific team at Ruby Canyon Cycles. We were preparing for a three day ride and went in for last-minute wheel repairs - everyone was super knowledgeable, friendly and helpful with advice about what lay ahead in our trip. A first-rate bike store.

This is a great bike shop!! I’m 6’4 and told him this over the phone during the week. I set up an appointment for my wife’s bike and looked at the one bike they had that would probably fit in my price range. They held it as sold until I was able to get into town. I tested it and was great!! Bikes have definitely changed since 10 years ago but him and his staff are the best!! Bike fit without any other mods to it!

I was in town for the weekend and my rear brake decided it no longer wanted to work. These guys were able to get me back on the trail within 30 minutes at a great price, and theyre were cool to BS with while I waited.I cant recommend this shop enough. You saved my trip.

Super awesome shop! Was only in town for the weekend and needed help diagnosing a bad creak in my bike. Went in 5 minutes before they close and one of the mechanics, Chad, helped me well after they had closed and found/fixed the problem so I can keep riding.Will definitely stop here again if Im ever in town.

Dropped in this shop from out of state with a dead battery on my Shimano Di2 shifter and no cable. They had no cable to sell me so they took my bike and charged it with their own shop cable. They asked for nothing from me and sent me on my way all charged up. Great friendly service!

Excellent shop. Great products.. they stock items you actually need and want.. The staff are all riders, and not just riders, very good riders, and know their stuff. If you ask a question on something they have first hand knowledge on it.Their suspension service is better than if you rolled into a factory service rig at a race. Reasonable price and more than worth it. These guys are Suspension gurus. Test, build, test some more. Dialed! Treat yourself to it. Your next ride will be quite amazing.And perhaps the best aspect of walking into RCC is the vibe. I really dont like walking into a bike shop and getting treated as an intruder who is interrupting.....there are plenty of shops out there like that. Not RCC. You feel like a valued customer and friend, and your questions are listened to, and the staff meet you where you are at with genuine interest.Ive been a customer for many years and this shop only gets better as the new bike days keep on coming. Whether passing through looking for trail beta and a suspension tune, or the local looking for the guys that will always properly take care of you and your ride, this is the place.

Buy it nice or buy it twice! This shop and staff rock. They are very knowledgeable. I am brand new to the mountain biking world and have lots to learn still. Ashton set me up with a couple of bikes to test drive. I found the perfect one and after a lesson in disassembling the bike, took it to Fruita for my first time. Thank you Specialized, I will be back.

What an awesome shop! Great selection of gear and top notch service. Just had them tune up my Enduro, fix a few issues and they did a thorough quality job. To my surprise were even able to warranty a few parts. My bike rides like new!

Took my 2018 Levo Comp in for front shock service. In/out in one day with only a one day advance notice. Both shops in Montrose were at least back-logged for a week or more. Have used Ruby Canyon many times and they never disappoint. Tanner was the tech who did the work and we ran into each other at the RAT trails the following day. I was stopped on the trail waiting for friends and he saw my bike and asked how the shock was working. I responded just great but why do you ask? Well with his mask on at the shop I did not recognize him with it off so he told me who he was. Anyway, just a funny coincidence. Great experience at Ruby Canyon always. Worth the drive from Montrose.

Took my Stumpjumper Evo in and they are wizards at getting it running at full speed. Staff is polite and knows their way around a bike.

Consistently great Above Valley Standards customer service. Best tune ups in Western Colorado. They tuned an old 2003 Stumpjumper hard tail I used for years & after a tune up it was better than when I first bought it. Thanks for raising the standards.

I cannot commend John Hefner enough. EXTREMELY helpful and knowledgeable, even before we chose to purchase at Ruby Canyon. He ensured that everything was taken care of, and we spent a few hours there. My husband was able to test many bikes, and John made sure that the fit was best for the type of riding, the riding my husband is familiar with, and options for upgrading parts later down the line. We left the shop exceedingly happy, and cant wait to continue doing business there :)

Let me start by say’n that I have had nothing but good experiences with these guys in the past but common man. This is just one (of a number) photo of the $125 demo my buddy brought to Moab with him today and yes, this is a pre-ride shot. Speechless.... I’d make a list but I think you get my point. Will I use them again? Yes I will hoping this is isolated and that they give him a free demo of his choose in the future.

6 stars! First time in a long time that a bike shop didn’t miss anything and did it as good or better than I could. Even better, the price came in waaaay less than what they quoted me before they started.

Just the best bike shop in the valley. If you are interested in Yeti or Specialized for purchase, go with them. They stand by the bike, had an issue with a dropper post that was clearly defective on a stumpjumper I bought in last year. They first tried to fix it, but when that didnt work they replaced it for me quick and with no hassle. There bike service and customer service is second to none. Thanks to Chad and John.

Ryan, the owner, is an awesome guy. My friend walked in with a taco for a wheel and walked out with an exact replacement for a great price. Ryan personally switched over the tire and brake rotor for just a few bucks. The other employees were friendly and informative.

Came to GJ for a weekend and rented a Yeti from Ruby Canyon. Joel, one of the employees there, was beyond helpful. He gave me a stack of maps and took time to go over each one, recommending trails. The service was top notch, highly recommend this place! Doesnt get any friendlier and the bike techs knew their stuff. Fair prices, too.

I needed a new bike because my old one was causing numbness in my hands. I met Service Tech JOHN HEFNER when I came in the store. He gave me the most outstanding service I have received anywhere in quite some time. He took time to evaluate if my old bike could be modified. I test rode four possible new bike solutions and eventually I decided to purchase new. John was very patient and informative throughout the entire process. The other service techs in the store were professional as well. If you need a new bike or maintenance on your old one, you should go to Ruby Canyon Cycles!

I cant say enough good things about Ruby Canyon. Ive bought two bikes here - a road bike for my wife and a mtb for myself. The customer service from all the guys has been stellar from buying the bikes to servicing them. Spending the time to explain how to properly maintain certain things for a semi-handy bike guy like myself has also been very much appreciated. When I havent had the time to do it myself, theyve been accomodating with last minute fixes before mtb trips. Come rent, buy, or fix your bike here, highly recommended!
