Its nice to see all the fine management at Capco writing reviews of their shop. Im sure its great for management, but for the aspiring machinist you will absolutely be taken advantage of. Certs are better than experience or loyalty folks, buy them while you can. And if you cant, skip out on this opportunity.Check out their reviews on indeed, glassdoor etc. I assume they keep changing who they take applications from because they want good reviews, Theyve really gone downhill since they sold to the LLC. but hey look at all your hard work guys, it bought Cordell a brand new Corvette! A joke company with clown management.

As a long term employee I can say that Capco has been, and still is, a great place to work. I have seen many changes some good and some bad but overall the company is growing and has provided me with a rewarding career. It is a place that truly makes a difference for our nations defense. As a Veteran I am proud to be able to continue my service by contributing to products that save the lives of those on the front lines.

Surprising to see these reviews, from what Mr. Layfield tells us this place is a terrible place to work. he says the only reason he likes working there is working on the grenade launchers and the machinery he gets to operate. he says they do great work there, and the pictures of the stuff he works on looks amazing, but sad to see another company be so disrespectful and mean to their employees. I hope you find something better John, good luck and hopefully Capco ups their pay for their hard working employees!

Looking forward to a series of positive reviews now that HR has started strongly hinting that positive reviews will allow them to fill positions faster. Naturally, addressing the negative reviews or employee morale never occurred to them. Capco has some amazing people working there, but the current management have some lethal blind spots, and are frequently far too slow to react to issues. This business could take off and soar in the next six months, but it will be closed in less time than that if management fails to realize one simple truth: Revenue ultimately comes from PEOPLE, and any business which prioritizes profit at the expense of its customers and employees is doomed to fail.

I have worked here about a year and can honestly say that I have never worked with a group of people that is so passionate about the work they do and the product they make. Are there bumps in the road being a Govt. Contractor? Of course!! But lessons are learned every day and people are focused on making a quality product that protects our Law Enforcement and Military teams. The best part of working at Capco is the people. The second best is the FOUR DAY WORK WEEK!! I never realized how having a 3 day weekend, every week, would effect my health and attitude. I get to enjoy this INCREDIBLE Grand Valley and all the outdoors has to offer!

Capco treats their staff like disposable garbage. New personnel are not properly trained. Experienced personnel are overworked until they quit with no transition period. Management continues increasing the workload and expects employees to work overtime to meet the new goals. More people leave and knowledge goes with them. Now nobody can make parts right and half of the product lines are shut down waiting for fixes. Disgraceful.

I currently work here. Sweat shop mentality. Horrible moral. Management is a joke. Someone told me they’ve been firing people during this covid crisis. These people do not care about us sadly.

You can learn a lot and grow at capo. I have worked at Capco over three years. The benefits are great. Free medical care, appointments, and prescriptions at Appleton. Lots of training available on line and in classes.

Ive been with Capco now for about a year and a half, and what can I say about this place. Its gone from a mom and pop type shop over the years its been in business just talking to many of my co-workers that have been here 5,10, and 20 plus years to something much larger. Mind you there will always be growing pains. But if you are willing to grow with the company and learn theres so much potential here. I work on 3rd shift which is fantastic 3 days on 4 days off, and not to mention the medical benefits which are great for the area. Theyve recently started a 401k aside from a profit sharing plan. Its no pension plan but its a great benefit for future retirement goals. Its also great to know that we are providing ways for our military and LEOs to stay safe and come home to there familys. Depending on your long term goals whether its retirement at Capco or just to learn and improve on certain skill sets definitely not a bad place to work.

What a wonderful place to work while doing my part to help defend those who protect us everday!!! 4 day work week!!! Great benefits!!
