We dropped truck after hours. Not a problem. Lock the truck and drop the keys in a Dropbox. The truck worked perfectly for us. We had more than enough room for our daughter and her family’s belongings in their move to Colorado.

Never come to this place. Jason May, rental manager is the worst person you want to rent something from. An irresponsible liar, he claimed wrong return date and charged one day more than I used the truck. Then they also irregularly charged fuel taxes while claiming that I didnt submit trip reports and fuel receipts, which was another lie, I gave everything at the location where I returned the truck. Now Im in a process of legal fighting to get stolen money back.

Awful service!!!!!!! I placed a reservation 1 month prior to needing the truck. They called 2 days before my move and downgraded the size and then called a day before and downgraded the size again! Went in to go pick the truck up and their computers are down! Worst service I have ever experienced from a company.UPDATE: They were very nice and figured out what they needed to do to get me taken care of. I appreciate the help from the local staff!!!

The gentlemen at home depot was super rude. There system wouldnt work took over an hour just to pick up a truck that was on hold. Mostly due to the rude guy helping us. I would recommend Uhaul.

I recently moved to Grand Junction with my husband and decided to use Penske. We used two trucks since weve been in GJ and only had a minor issue with the door of one which was promptly addressed. Anything you ask for they will do anything in their power to help! We had fast, freindly service the whole time.

Last fall My first experience went pretty smoothly.Then I go there a couple of weeks ago for another truck and check in. I gave them my name and company name and I’m told my rental would be $750. Since I had a one day rental I questioned it and about 15 minutes later we finally got it straightened out when another company came in and they said they had a reservation and they said that they had Mark & Sara as drivers. That was us. They had both our drivers licenses but I guess that wasn’t enough identification. It took forever but we did get out of there in 45 minutes. On the way back from Aspen we were stopped by the police as the truck had NO tag on it.We filled up the tank at Walmart (1/2 mile away) and turned it in after hours the same day. We went less miles than expected so I calculated a refund of $21.00. The next day I not only didn’t get a refund but was charged for $59 additional totaling an extra 81.00. When I called they said it was for fuel because we didn’t get any. I have the receipt. The amount of fuel I put in calculated to exactly 5 miles per gallon. So I called and complained but the girl I spoke to said that there was nothing she could do. A few hours later she called back to say I was getting a credit. A lot of hassle for nothing.So yesterday I get another Truck. I agreed to $152.31 for the rental which included mileage and insurance. Today, I called Blake because we were running an hour late and he said it would be an extra 22.00 for an hour. I reluctantly agreed. My driver left the facility with the truck at 2:55 yesterday afternoon but since we got there at 2:17 according to the printout - even though the rest of Time we were there was paperwork, inspection etc. They charged me for 2 hours late and another day of insurance that Blake never mentioned to me. I actually used an extra hour but got charged for 2 hours so basically 1/2 a day plus additional $40 for an extra days insurance. An extra $90 for an hour.When I called I just got a bunch of useless and inaccurate explanation which they are very good at.Bottom line, what you are quoted and how it ends up are very different.Most of Their trucks are nicer than uHaul but not with all this hassle & extra cost.
