I was putting oil in my car and accidentally dropped my oil cap. The auto shops nearby didnt have one for me to buy and the closest was 4 miles away, meaning id have to risk driving with hot oil on my hot car engine. I called, told them what was happening. They fished it out for me and refilled my washer fluid for free! I will definitely be coming to yall for my next service. Thank you so much! Stay away from this location. I came in for a simple turn signal bulb change on my Audi A4 on the driver side. Was quoted a price of $38. I get there and they said after looking at it that it would be $85 (typical stuff). What’s not typical is this place changed my HEADLIGHT BULB on the PASSENGER SIDE instead of what I needed done. Thankfully, I checked to make sure it was working properly before I left and found out it wasn’t. Had to wait another hour for them to get it right. I’ve never seen such poor service from a shop. Do yourself a favor and pick a different Christian Brothers location.

Needed to get my plates removed because the threading wore off and screws couldnt be removed so they were kind enough take it out and put in the new plates and didnt even charge, thank you!

I went in for a front end alignment. CBA was quick, fair and gave me the results of my alignment before and after the adjustments, unlike other shops that charged me a lot more but couldnt show me that the required adjustments were made and how it made a difference. I will be coming here for any auto repairs that I cant do myself because this is the only place I trust with my car.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Misdiagnosed my vehicle, charged me 500 dollars not including tow, only for me to drive off the lot and have the same issue I had when I had it towed to them.

Christian Brothers is a name that I know and trust.... but the quality of service I received at this location does not measure up...Went in for an oil change and the mechanic found loose/missing engine mount fasteners. They didnt bother to mention it ahead of time or tighten the remaining fasteners, so upon arriving I was shown a photo and told theyd follow up with pricing on replacement parts and installation. That didnt happen. I followed up and they had no idea what I was talking about.Additionally, I didnt receive a mileage sticker for the new oil change.They replaced the bolt and installed a sticker.

I came in with a problem that I had no idea what it was, but I thought for sure it was a blown transmission and would costs thousands to fix. I had three techs standing around the car with me talking about what it could be, talking about ideas and hypotheticals, using coding tools, smelling things, crawling under stuff, etc. Their attention to detail and their years of combined experience lead them to find the issue while allowing me to give my input throughout as well. Turned out to be something unrelated to the transmission and helped save me loads of money I could have otherwise wasted. They were very professional, honest, kind, and hard working and I had a great experience. I will definitely be coming back again!

Staff were very polite and knowledgeable, able to give estimates for cost ahead of providing services. I had a dead AC system for two years that was last quoted as $1200 to fix. They ran a fresh AC leak check, and rolled that into the cost of replacing one bad seal. Ultimately cost less than half my previous quote, done in two hours. Any heavy car stuff, Im bringing to these guys. Good work, at fair price.

For a business that prides themselves in customer service I was extremely disappointed and inconvenienced when I arrived for my 3pm oil change appointment at 2:50p, only to be told that no one would be able to get to my vehicle until next week. Im reasonable enough to understand that they may have unintentionally overbooked themselves but either Priscilla didnt know or didnt care that I heard her tell the walk-in customer ahead of me that she would have someone take a look at his vehicle. Seems the customer with an appt should have been the priority. I cannot tell CBA how to run their business but if they are going to treat my business like this then whats the point of advertising as as a business with exceptional values. No apology or anything. Priscilla could have called ot texted to say they are behind and need to cancel.

Christain Brothers is a life saver. Car vibrates at 60mph and I have changed everything in the suspension as directed by different auto technicians and no result. Upon getting to Christain brother for diagnosis, the recommended a solution without charging me. That was the answer to my nightmare. Thank you Christain brothers

I was raised to be extremely skeptical and distrusting of all repair shops, but Christian Brothers at Green Oaks has really shown me a new standard for automotive maintenance. They will do their absolute best to ensure your satisfaction. My husband and I were preparing for a cross country road trip with 2 kids under 2, so we wanted our minivan to be completely looked over and in tip top shape for the trip. However we were livid when the check engine light came on the night before we were planning to leave, just a couple weeks since the last shop, and the code told us that cylinders were misfiring. We had already spent a substantial amount of money on two shop visits this year trying to be prepared for the road trip. We were also in McKinney when we found out about the problem and we found oil all over two of the ignition coils. We knew that the valve covers were replaced, so we were so mad and did not understand how they could’ve missed this. I had convinced myself this was probably their fault and we were done with repair shops forever. I was just going to deal with the inconvenience of opening up an engine in the driveway and do all my own repairs like my dad always did. However, after I called them (I wasn’t a nice person :/) and told them everything, they were very nice and sympathetic. They asked me to take our minivan to the McKinney Christian Brothers to have it looked at and they said to not worry about the repairs. They covered everything. They replaced the engine cover, the ignition coils, and the spark plugs. Then to make the issue was fixed, they drove the van multiple times to make sure the engine did ALL it’s checks and the check engine light did not come on. We didn’t get to take the van for the trip and we had to take a much smaller car, which was excruciating with two little kids, but Christian Brothers really fixed our van and we didn’t have to worry about another huge car bill. We’ve had it back a week now and can happily say it is now performing super well. We are so grateful for their service and will definitely be going to them again soon.

This is always a great place to take your car. Jason is nice and the other guy at counter too. They will help with whatever the problem with your vehicle is. And dont worry about price. You get what you pay for and I pay for great vehicle service and done right the first time. There is no guess work with them when they fix it, it is fix. I will never in life go anywere else.

Charged around 1,200 for a tune up when I had a head gasket problem. I told them of warning signs of a bad head gasket and Christian Brothers recommended I needed a tune up.was a Toyota with only 120,000 on it, wish I could have saved it.

Love this place...What’s the first thing you think about when you’re looking for someone to work on your vehicle. .. For me it is, ”Can I trust them??” I am thrilled to say you can trust this. As a woman who knows little besides the basics of a vehicle I have had to grudgingly trust what mechanics told me and I have been lied to a number of times.Christian Brothers have not and even after taking my truck back four times for the same issue they continued to treat me with respect and courtesy and were finally able to resolve the issue.It’s a relief to know I have someone I can trust. I came today again for an inspection and although I had to wait 1 hour for it/ I arrived right after opening so partly my fault. I was surprised that they are not covid ready. Yes we have to wear masks but they have all kinds of books and magazines out. My hairdresser does not have these out due to how many people touch them. This may be something they should look at for safety. They are trusted by alot of people so they can do their part to ensure safety.

CBA is very efficient and good at communicating what is going on throughout the entire process. The work they do is good and I never am left with the impression that I am being swindled. Their customer service is exceptional. I have never price shopped but I do not think their prices are unreasonable; they arent necessarily cheap but I would rather pay the slightly higher price than the shop down the road in order to get their warranty and make sure the job is done right the first time.

Super quick and professional. I also needed a ride to pick my car up and they sent me a Lyft at no charge. Pretty cool and convenient.

The shop in Grand Prairie said i needed to have the bushings replaced before i could get the front wheels alignment done. I took my car to the Toyota dealership and they said the bushings were fine and i didnt need to adjust the new tires i bought from Costco. I will never use this company again

They strive to make your visit as pleasant as possible, and they even offer to take you home/pick you up in their shuttle if you need to leave your car with them. I took my vehicle here because my check engine light was on. Time nor money was an issue- I said please just figure it out and fix it.$2000.00 dollars and almost 2 weeks later I get my suv back. Mind you floor board mats and driver side door along with steering wheel was black, while they came out and wiped it down my mat was still ruined. Less then a month my check engine light is back on. Took it back now it something completely different when before it was on because of my fuel pump and they changed it out along with recalibration of some other piece. $2000.00 because of my check engine light and its still NOT fixed.HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ZERO FOLLOW THRUA simple didnt see that when you were here.I WILL MAKE SURE NO ONE I KNOW EVER DOES BUSINESS WITH THIS LOCATIONNOT EVER!

I was having a issue with my car’s check engine light and decided to bring my car into this location on 7/8/20. After talking with Daniel at the front desk about my car’s issues he advised me that my issue could possibly be addressed by the dealership at their expense. He didn’t haft to inform me of that, he could have let me spend hundreds of dollars but instead he did the right thing.

Being a woman, walking into any car shop alone is a gamble. Immediately, I was greeted by Dalton with the best customer service ever. He didn’t make me feel less of a human while needing help. Jim kept me informed about all services available to help resolve my issue. These guys were great! I would highly recommend them and will be seeing them for all mechanic issues. My vehicle was repaired the next day. Tim contacted me first thing in the morning and continued to call me throughout the day with updates. They did not try to up-sell me with any additional services or extra work. This was the closest auto shop available when I needed it, and I was super lucky it was. I had just picked up my vehicle after it had been transported from overseas and noticed pulsating in the brake pedal, and noise from the wheels. Long story short; I had to make it to El Paso by the following morning (8.5 hour drive), this shop did everything in their power to get me on the the road the same day.Staff is the friendliest I’ve met and I never had any concern I was being ripped off. What every auto shop should be.

Went in for a check engine light and trouble accelerating. All I needed was to get it fixed enough to get it back on the road. They charge $109 just to test it, which you can get done for free elsewhere. At first they told me the main issue to get it driving again would be the spark plugs and pushed me to get the coil replaced as well just because it would already be off, not that it actually needed to be changed, that would have been $405. They also tried to get me to pay $200 for some special engine cleaning they tried to make me believe was necessary. They said I might need to replace the catalytic converter and gaskets but that they wouldn’t know till they looked inside of it, but it seemed as though it wasn’t necessary until I asked them specifically if it was needed for me to be able to drive my car and their story changed to make it seem necessary. That total was $2160. Oh but they were very quick to refer me to a website that would pay them directly that I would have to pay back if I couldn’t afford it. It very much felt like they were just looking to get some money and as a young female maybe they felt they could pull one over on me. After speaking with family and to other shops, the only thing I did was let another shop replace my spark plugs and my car is working just fine and even better than before. My total went from $3000 to just $160.

Told me I needed new tie rods as well as bearings on both front wheels. Luckily I went to another shop after purchasing the parts myself due to their extreme markup. Only had to replace one wheel bearing and no problems were found with my tie rods. Ended up saving about $700 by going someplace else. Car has been running fine since replacing only 1/4 of what they said I needed to.

2021Going to Christian Brothers is like visiting family, there is a homey feeling in the air. The service is up to par and even when their prices are not the lowest on the market (for the lowest price you will get a mechanic with a dead stare who will forget your name as soon as he turns around plus you probably will have to exorcise the car) but it is affordable. I recommend Christian Brothers to everyone I know.2018Ive been using the services of the big companies for my regular oil changes. Needless to say some things were overlooked. After 2 cross country trips I decided to find a good (great) mechanic online that can provide the love my car needed. I read the CBs mission statement online and I was hooked. I made an appointment online, somehow showed up a day before but Jim was kind enough to take me in anyway. I am more than satisfied with the service.

They do a good job. I get my fleet vehicles from my company serviced here. They can do light and heavy line repairs. I usually just get an oil change. They have a shuttle that can give you a ride to/from work or home and can pick you up when your car is done. The inside of the waiting room looks like someones house which is weird yet cozy.

Synopsis: I really enjoyed the honest, friendly staff, and no pressure atmosphere. Instead of attempting to aggressively up-sell unnecessary items, they worked to save me money, and honestly inquired about any needed maintenance, as I had no records on file with them. The waiting area is very nice, with a very clean restroom and free WiFi.My experience:I dropped my 3 series BMW off with Paul at Christian Brothers late in the day on a Monday, because my steering wheel was making absolutely AWFUL noises any time it was moved, I had a slight *pop* in the suspension near full lock, and my brake light was on and indicating the pads were worn to the minimum thickness. We agreed that they could keep the car, and look at it the next day.On Tuesday Paul called to let me know the brake light was on because the rear sensor had been installed incorrectly, its wiring harness had been rubbing, and the wire finally broke; he let me know that the pads and rotors were fine. He indicated that the steering and suspension noises were due to loose bolts, and that all the noise was gone after they went through and tightened everything up.I wasnt able to pick the car up before they closed Tuesday, so they moved it into the shop that night, as we had very bad weather with large hail coming through. I also had to be out of town Wednesday, and Paul didnt mind me leaving it there another day at all.When I finally picked the car up on Thursday, I was charged the going rate for the new sensor, a half hours labor for installing it, nothing at all for inspecting and tightening up the suspension and steering, and a reasonable rate for the full synthetic oil change I had requested. No attempt to up-sell, other than asking if I needed an oil change since I didnt have a reminder sticker on the windshield, and the car doesnt have a dipstick.With the noises the steering was making, I likely would have had no argument if theyd said the entire steering rack needed to be replaced. This is a very honest shop that does quality work with a very friendly attitude and no pushy sales tactics; the super clean and plush waiting area was just icing on the cake.If I could give them more than five stars, I would. These guys rock.

CBA Green Oaks has it together. Exceeded my expectations and took great care of me.They finished my (drop off) oil change completed far sooner than I had asked! I was very particular on the oil I needed for my vehicle, because its still under warranty. I asked a bunch of questions and they answered every question I had and made me feel at ease. Shuttle dropped me off and picked me back up from my office as well. Everyone has a positive attitude and a smile.

Service I received at Christian Brothers are second to none, after all the years I have had my car serviced. I finally found a shop that gives excellent service, you are given a time frame in which the work is to be completed. I am pleased with Christian Brothers and its staff. I wont go any place else for service for my car. My advice it you have not tried them, do it at least once and you be the judge. I promise you will have no reqrets, you get what you pay for.

Did me right. Stayed on budget/estimate. Had to leave my truck over the weekend, they were accommodating and promised to put it in the bay over the weekend to keep it safe. Total bill was a bit higher than I expected, but they do have a finance company that they work with to help with that.

I was Refered to this location when I moved here. The person referring had shown high integrity trough many situations. They told me the owner here is phenomenal and is good at finding great people. I have found it to be very true. They take great care of my cars and me. If you want someone you can trust with your car, here is the place.

I took my 2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo into Christian Brothers automotive and the waiting room was Spotless! The shuttle service took me home and also picked me up. The convenience of that alone was excellent. I explained how my mother would be driving my car for the next couple months while I was away in college and the concerns i had with my vehicle. Paul listened and told me exactly what I needed. That provided me with alot of comfort. I left knowing that anytime they handle my repairs my mother will also be in safe hands. Professional, kind, efficient.I called on my way to their shop with what I believed was a dying battery. They verified they had a replacement in stock and completed the repair with in one hour total. Extremely kind staff. Clean waiting area. I paid a bit more but was still very competitive and was completely pleased with the outcome.

A BIG RIPOFF!!!!

I love this place! I have a 1995 vehicle so it is harder to find parts and work on. But they did it! They had to troubleshoot an electrical problem and find out where it was in the system. It was even more difficult as the problem only occurred when the engine was warmed up so it took a lot of letting the engine run, recreating the problem and then doing tests to see where the problem might be before the engine cooled down again. Christian Brothers Automotive on Green Oaks is my #1 mechanic. They are very friendly and authoritative on all makes and models. I highly recommend them! I feel very welcome here and completely trust them with my older model vehicle.
