Ordered a Topps jumbo pack and tier one online. Shipping was quick and the packaging was great. Found the prices beat most other vendors and must be first time luck but got some nice hits from the packs. I have taken the time to read all the reviews of this store, good & bad. I will respond accordingly. 1.) There has always been enough staff at this store that have been willing to help out. 2.) I have always been greeted & they have always been friendly. 3.) I feel the price offered by Lou has been incredibly fair for the product I have been bringing him. I was going to another local sports card store & selling my items there. I will not be going there anymore & will go here instead. Lou & the guys know what you are bringing them, are willing & able to pay a fair price & explain their rationale.

I had a really good first experience with Legends.Prices are reasonable. I purchased a Topps 2011 Update blaster unopened box. Customer service could not have been better. I received the box in short time by Federal Express Ground. Shipping was free but the shop did not skimp on shipping costs. Topps unopened box was in pristine condition.I will gladly give them my business in the future.

Legends is the go to sportscard shop in Grand Rapids. Been buying here for over 30 years and the owner Lou Brown is great guy to deal with and can get you anything you may want. They carry alot of unopened wax new and older and have all the supplies you need. They also have tables and chairs where you can sort cards or open your wax boxes. There is also a big selection of sportscard singles, a huge Magic and Pokemon selection, framed posters and art and memorabilia.

My husbands favorite place to shop while in town. Always a great variety and well stocked.

Sports cards and memorabilia as well as some Pokémon cards. Old cards to new cards. Single cards, sets, hanger boxes hobby boxes and blaster boxes. Clean store. Decently organized. Some of the boxes seem to be over priced compared to some ive seen online.

Amazing store, Great and friendly staff, we are from Idaho. But we will do business online, and every time we are here to see family. Loved the layout of the store, and you didnt feel rushed. 10 out of 10.

Havent been in in a while due to covid but met the new (to me) clerk in the gaming section since Barry left last year. He was very nice, helpful and knowledgeable when it came to tcgs and pointed out that I may have a few rarities in my collection. Also. Dude had a well coordinated outfit of purple and had a cat on his shirt.

Most stuff doesnt have a price on it and they are rude when you ask for the price. I guess you are supposed to just hand the cash and they decide how much to keep. Will never go back. Many other card shops around

Great Michigan sports memorabilia, lots of sports card options, and magic the gathering, Pokemon, and other trading card games. The play area for card games is great and staff is awesome. They are very patient with my kids and always willing to talk and help.

This place is awesome!! They dont have any babe Ruth cards but they do have a bunch of authentic signed football, basketball, and baseball jerseys. Also they have a huge collection of vintage sports cards. From the minutes of me walking in to this place to the seconds before i finally walked out their door i saw one thing or another that i NEED. They also buy cards and jerseys and im sure memorabilia too. I sold them some stuff for a good price i was impressed with how much i actually received.

Best sports store in Grand Rapids! Lou Brown and his staff (Eric, John, Barry, Tony, etc) are the best. My kids love coming here as the staff especially Eric always shows them kindness and has them wanting to collect more! Lou is always looking for feedback in how to make the store even better for the regulars or 1st time shoppers. They have a great selection of Hockey cards old and new with additions happening all the time. Pack Wars is amazing and I recommend it to everyone! There prices are lowest I have found in Grand Rapids area especially when you get a membership. Need boxes, packs, singles, or supplies this is place to go!

Love this place but major fail today, if the CCG Dylans arent there you get ignored, and how do you not have boxes of the new MTG set ready to be sold when you open the day of the new set release? Guess Ill give Galactic my 200$ then.

Theres a lot of good places for collectibles in the greater Grand Rapids Area. Legends is by far the best. They have a wide variety and something for everyone. They also have a really strong, passionate team focused on the gaming community for a wide variety of different games. The staff genuinely cares about the customer and player experience here and you will definitely be impressed.

They basically “hire” people to go to all the retail stores (Meijer, Walmart, Target, etc) and buy all the NBA Optic and Prizm that they have so they can sell them at their store for twice as much. They claim that regular people are bringing them into their shop and selling them to them but who in their right mind would do that? It’s not like this shop would offer much more, if anything more at all, for them than what they bought them for at the retail store. Especially when there is probably something in there worth more than the small profit they would make from selling them to Legends.

Best card shop in town hands down. Been doing business here for over 20 years.

Great shop for card games! I go there for YuGiOh cards all the time. Not a big sports fan but there is a huge amount of sports stuff and baseball cards too.

Always a great place for both sports and card games. On the sports side the products are good priced and there and a great store for finding presents for a diehard fan. Aparrel selections are great and are updated with that years new styles each year.On the card game side I met the best staff in the area to explain Magic. They helped with all aspects of the game and never pushed any products. Walked out spending much less than anticipated and more knowledgeable of the game.

I always feel welcomed there, nice staff, friendly customers and what I need is usually there.

Boys absolutely love going there and the owner or manager really makes it a great experience for them!

My go to for sports cards. Huge selection of singles and always well stocked with boxes for me to break. My kids love going to their pack wars which they host monthly ( usually last Saturday of the month ).

For some who loves playing card games this is a great place to go and play and make some new friends as well.

Last month was our 1st time visiting. We drove over an hour to get to LS&G. They are the nearest to our knowledge that sells Cardfight Vanguard cards & booster boxes. This was main reason we were making the drive. They have an impressive collection of Yugioh, Pokemon and I think they had Dragonball too. The wide selection of sports memorabilia and how was displayed in store was great too. Really nice set up. Although we are not too much into sports some of our family is so will be making a trip up to store again for holiday shopping. Prices on most things are very competitive with other shops around. A few things were a lil highly priced but thats ok. When you become a member of there rewards program i think its called those few pricey things becomes more affordable. Also you get great deals on stuff. I only wish especially after making such a long drive that they had a little bit bigger selection of Cardfight Vanguard booster boxes and had more than just the latest sets. Like perhaps have some from 2017 and 2018 and maybe a few vintage ones from 2012-2016. It be cool if they could order from distributors stuff we want. Anyways after novel length review I just want to say we recommend this shop and had a decent 1st time shopping at LS&G.

Decent card selections. One thing I wasnt a fan of was the jersey they sell that are custom not only are they putting athletes names on them with out giving them royalties. But they are also pawning them off as authentic alternatives...literally saw the owner glue something together and put it out on the floor for resale.

Legends has a tremendous selection of items for just about any sportsfan - particularly if you like Michigan, Michigan State, or Detroit teams. Tons of cards, apparel, autographs, and all sorts of different fan merchandise - one of the best selections Ive seen in a retail store anywhere.

This store has a great variety of sports cards and memorabilia and the staff here is very friendly and knowledgeable.

I ordered a signed jersey from this shop. After asking several questions about the jersey and them not posting pictures they told me they would get a picture up and to order so I dont miss out so I did. They never posted a picture and finally the jersey arrived. This jersey looked like it was made in someones basement or garage. It was such poor quality so I returned it. I was expecting a refund of my shipping costs I paid to get the jersey and to return the jersey due to with poor quality but after the return I was only refunded the jersey price. I called and emailed after asking for the rest of my refund and received no response. I would avoid using this company at all costs, very shady.

I just moved to GR from the Detroit area and this place beats any sports memorabilia store on that side of the state. I’ll be returning often and hopefully won’t spend my retirement there!

Well if you are black, the guy working the front counter will not speak to you. Three customers walked in after me and he spoke but I walked passed him twice and he didn’t even say a Word.
