I have never rented storage space before and I am so glad I chose Simply Storage on 28th Street Grand Rapids, Mi. The assistant at the front desk was so friendly and helpful, she was very thorough with explaining and showing me everything about my unit and the facility. The office and space as well as the grounds where very clean and easy to use. As we went back to put things in the unit, she was always friendly, helpful and always smiling. Quick and easy process setting up a unit. I needed a second unit a few days later and it was easy getting that setup also. Property Manager, Tiffany was excellent! She answered every question I had and took the time to show me the unit oppose to giving me verbal directions and sending me on my way.

We moved from Arizona in October thinking we had an apartment but half way through the trip we found out that we didnt get it so we were stuck in an hotel for several months and had to out our stuff in storage. When searching for a storage facility Simply Self Storage was the best option in my opinion. Their rates were very compatible, the grounds were very clean, the indoor storage was clean and well kept even the public restroom was very clean. They had several carts for moving items, two elevators for freight that work without issue and the customer service as well as management were very friendly and helpful. Id recommend this place to anyone and Id use them again if need be.

Scam alert. Very terrible service. Would not recommend whatsoever. About a month after turning in my keys and closing my account, I received a call that my previously rented unit was still somehow being occupied by me. I called this location several times and politely explained that my account was closed and that I did not have keys as theyd been turned into the person running the desk. I was only met with rude remarks. When I talked with the manager over the phone, she hung up on me. Now, over a year later, I have recently received a letter that I still somehow owe them money, and if I dont pay, I will be handed over to debt collectors. So beware ever renting from this location. They run a racketeering facility disguised as a storage lot.

I had an awesome move in experience. I have rented spaces before, but this time everything went so smoothly. The price I got quoted online was the actual price I pay monthly (excluding the insurance). The manager, Tiffany, was very personable and gave me a tour before I signed any paperwork. I asked for a extra amenity to be added by phone and she did had it entered by the close of business that day. I liked the drive up load/unload zone.

I rented a unit here for 5+ years and had nothing short of a wonderful experience. The rate for my unit was reasonable, and they only raised the rate once (and it was only by $10). This place was great in my transition and many moves from college life to regular adult life. Any time I needed to stop in the office to update payment methods or ask a question, the staff was very friendly and knowledgable. Whenever I visited my unit, the business was living up to their end of the deal of keeping a clean and climate-controlled environment. Many people cant wait to move out of their storage units because they think its a waste of money. When I moved my last box out, I was a little sad to be leaving, because it was money well-spent.

Great experience! I had to last minute find storage and their website was super easy to use and I was able to find a unit and reserve within seconds. As soon as I did I received a call from Tiffany introducing herself and letting me know she received my reservation and where they were located. Once we got there the whole experience was great plus great conversation. Awesome customer service.

There is a little bit of cooking oil on the floor of my unit, but thats not their fault and it doesnt affect the things I am storing. Tiffany responded to my email right away and got me into a climate-controlled space to fit my needs. The space is clean and convenient for loading and unloading. Tiffany and Larry are both very Amazing people they welcomed me with smiles and they are some good people to this place. I never have been to a place that welcomed me so much. I will definately come back when i need to rent a unit.

Would highly recommend this facility! Staff is friendly. Youre allowed to rent month to month and prorate if needed. Be sure to ask about promotional deals. I would challenge anyone to find a better deal than I got under the promo that was happening at the time I rented.

Very disappointed!! I was very impressed by Tiffany the property manager, whatever that position entails when I first became a customer; however when I moved back to Grand Rapids I asked about getting prorated, and what that entailed. I was given not only misleading information from Tiffany, but I was blatenly lied to, and now have to pay a full month for absolutely no reason since my stuff was moved out before the 1st. She was beyond rude about it as well. I have always paid my monthly rent on time, and was so disappointed to be taken advantage of. I do not recommend!!!!

We rented a 10x15 unit to store our motorcycle and trailer, but upon move-in two days later discovered that the trailer wouldnt fit because the door was only 8 feet wide. When explaining the issue to the sales associate he quickly became defensive, insisting there were absolutely no refunds. Thankfully we were moving in at the end of the month and only lost a small amount. Be sure to ask for every detail you can think of before paying.
