The morning mini- mart associates seemed inexperienced or needing a refresher course on friendly customer service. Maybe to many working at one time? But store cashiers were nice and helpful .

Priced a little high, but service was better than average.

Great store in : GRANDVIEW..... There were a few not wearing any masks or #PPE..... Should be more safety protocol !

This Safeway is really dirty, both the deli and bakery need to step it up as there is flys everywhere laying maggots and feces on donuts, they get trapped all day so they get a good 16 hours or more. Staff is slow and rude.

Poor service. Crowded store. Never have enough checkers, self checkout seems to always have glitches and continually have to wait for “assistance on the way”. Don’t restock items Regularly nor have upcoming sale items in stock. Worth the trip to do your shopping at Winco, not to mention Winco prices are half or more the cost of Safeway items.

I called into the bakery to make an order and the girl who answered was so nice even though she didn’t have much training on taking orders over the phone she didn’t seem bothered at all she was so calm and helpful her name is Natasha Moore!! She had excellent customer service skills made me want to shop there more often!

Usually a good shopping experience. Was able to use the app for coupons easily. Store was clean and prices were all marked and visible. Store was clean and organized. A sales clerk on the floor saw me looking for something in the freezer section and asked me if I needed some help. The cashier was not very personable though. She wasnt rude but not friendly either. Usually the cashiers are really nice and talk to you as you check out.

This is got to be the worst Safeway Ive ever been to and Ive been living here for about three years I shop there every week and theyre still rude as can be to me never been in a Safeway this snotty just rude

Good produce. Bakery also has great variety. Cash register line can be long at times. 3pm to 7 or 8pm on a Friday is usually very busy. On Friday deli has take and bake pizza on sale for a good price. Also great tasting rotisserie 🐔 chicken I think for $5 for a whole cooked bird.

Great store, well stocked. Friendly helpful people and usually dont have to wait too long in checkout. Could use a larger variety of organic produce and gluten free products. Pharmacy is professional and courteous. They do take time to hear your issues with prescriptions and will contact insurance or doctor for you.

The Grandview Safeway is nicer than the one in Sunnyside. The store is bigger, cleaner, and the staff if very friendly. The bakery is much better than the Sunnyside location. Minus 1 star because they never seem to have enough checkers available. Grandview recently installed self checkout lines. Ive tried them twice. They are fairly easy to use unless you have large bulky items you have to lift to scan or if you buy any item marked clearance. You cant scan the orange clearance sticker, you have to remove it from the item, scan the item at regular price, then scan the orange sticker on its own. You have to do this for every item and you cant save the stickers to scan all at once at the end of the transaction. Its unnecessarily complicated and I would have never figured out how to do it without assistance which kind of defeats the purpose of having self checkout.

Safeway is the main grocer for Grandview. If you need something you can find it there. They keep things stocked when they have the chance unless it is from a private retailer that brings their goods daily such as Pepsi or CocaCola. You will be able to find what you want quickly and easily and the employees are very helpful. Aside from the occasional problem of something not being as fresh as one would like (which the staff will take care of eminently) the store is a good place to shop. It is crowded during the afternoon and in the evening though. If you suffer from any form of anxiety or need a service dog the best time to go would be in the morning. The same for if you are elderly. It is easier to move around with less people and it is less busy. These rush hours apply to the Starbucks in store as well along with the Deli.The Deli is well stocked and the food is of a decent price but if you are looking for fried chicken or other treats such as pizza sticks there are other restaurants that might tickle that fancy better. Their salads are well done though and their sliced meats and cheeses are devine.The bakery is a good place to order that cake for your birthday or some cupcakes. They do have some other good products as well. You will not find hispanics breads here though but there selections of other items are large.The seafood and meat section is always of good quality. Their seafood is generally well set out and their cuts of meat are sized in proportion to their price. If you are against fish that has been frozen before, than you may wish to ask what non-frozen options they have.In general this is a good place to go if you are in Grandview and do not want to drive further. Otherwise there are some other places that are not as crowded at times with better prices in Tricities. If you are looking for Vegan or Vegetarian items this store does not carry a good selection compared to what you might find elsewhere.

Well like any Safeway, the prices can be expensive at regular price. However, when items are for sale the prices are very good. If you dont have a Safeway card membership, GET IT! It is free. My only complaint, and reason for 3 stars, is the checkout time. This is not the place to come, if you need something quick. Sometimes there is one or two cashiers and ten people in that line. Very rarely do I get to pay quickly. It is the same experience whether in mornings, afternoons, evenings, and late at nights.

This is a very well stocked Safeway store. There are a couple of express lanes and generally plenty of checkers to get you out the door quickly. Access is good and theres plenty of parking including handicap accessible. Nice selection of meats and produce. Staff is friendly and courtious with bilingual help readily available.

Ordered the $6 Combo Meal. Baked chicken with 2 sides. Not bad at all. I shall return to Safeways Deli.

I used to live by Safeway when I was a kid. I was about 3, and when me and my dad were in the parking lot, he would tell me to go tell some woman I dont have a mommy..would you be mine?! still dont know why they thought that was cute.. maybe its every womans inner-mother. Ever since then, Safeway has been sort of my mom

Always friendly staff. The pharmacy keeps me informed when a prescription might have side effects. The floral department has a wonderful variety of flowers to choose from, and other gift ideas. Great produce section, as well, and I wont go into the goodies in the bakery.

Great sale today on almond milk, already fifty cents cheaper than Walmart!

Fell in love with their hot soups. Amazing selection in the pastry aisle. And to this day the only place where I can get my spicy Japanese Curry.

My favorite grocery place.

There is a pharmacy here where I get my prescriptions filled & its the least expensive place I have found to get refills. They send text messages to my phone when its time for refills & will contact my doctor if I have no refills remaining. They have an awesome bakery/deli, an extensive wine/beer/liquor selection, floral department, meat/butcher department, Starbucks coffee shop, Redbox movie kiosk, Seahawks apparel & ATM. Reasonable prices are worth traveling a few miles from my house.

Pleasant experience at the Starbucks. The womans bathroom was absolutely filthy. Looks like it hasnt been cleaned for days. Disgusting!

Quick pick up of meds.

Went in to check on a prescription. One person in line. No one working at the counter. Waited and 3 others joined the line. Finally one of the two employees chatting in back saw the line. Slowly both came out to help. No apology just looked for prescriptions in the wrong place or not existant
