This Big 5 sporting goods location is a good place to shop.I went there recently to get a new pair of shoes.The staff was friendly and helpful. They have lots of other stuff too, baseball bats, catching mitts weights, and lots more. Definitely would recommend giving them a visit or two!

All sorts of stuff from shoes to backpacks and sleeping bags and a bunch of items are usually on sale. If its not on sale this week, just check back! Also, theyre pretty well stocked on kettle bells (Ive had a tough time finding those anywhere else.)

The folks at Big 5 were very helpful and knowledgeable of the products they sell (this time walking shoes & hiking boots). Lots of weekly sales. Yes I compared there prices & selection to other local retailers and this was it. We had to order my walking shoes, they arrived in the time frame they said. That gave me time to break in the new boots. Lots of parking, easy to find. No public bathrooms. Super nice folks !!

Excellent customer service every time Ive been here. Also they are awesome and very understanding about returns. I had a cot I used for fire season at fire camp and one of the bars bent on me on my first fire call, they let me return it no problem, bought a new one of the exact same kind and I was ready to go out on the next fire just in time!

Needed binoculars so I could see the comet tonight! Had a great sale on this pair for $39.99! I dont even have to wear my glasses because it has an insta focus feature on it. Im happy!😁

Big 5 is a pretty basic sporting goods store. I have learned that I need to wait for a while before I can rate Big 5.At this point Ive learned that the shoes I bought I should have never purchased. They arent what I was looking for and the service was not so good I mean its not like theyre out there to make you really happy theyre just out there to get your dollars

I was looking for an item sold exclusively by Big 5 but they were sold out for the season. The manager went out of his way and found one in another state and had them ship it to here for me. I am so grateful to him and to the other employees for their customer service. They were all so nice about everything what a great crew!

Need shoes for planter facilities they carry some Nike shoes that work great plus my size 13 extra wide for my gorilla feet lol air monarch I believe

Love this store. Its well equipped, organized, friendly employees and open till 9pm on Saturday in the middle of December. Awesome.

Great Staff, the managers are a little stiff, but otherwise good people - ammo on Tuesdays lacking, but not their fault, they get whats given - my review is based on ammo and shoes.

Has some inventory cramped, I bought a pair of lam boots, and a can of waterproof spray was out. A courtesy spray would have been great instead of me purchasing 8.00 can🙄

Staff gossiping at the cash register. When I asked for help, got the arms folded response. Dressing rooms a closed due to covid. You can try em on over your clothes here. Just missed the mark entirely with customer service.

Is it just me or has anyone else experienced poor customer service lately. Ive been in there twice recently and the completely ignore me when Im looking for shoes, Ive walked out the door both times with no shoes. Almost forgot tonight customer to sales people ratio 1 to 4.

Not a bad store, but while we were able to find boots that fit our plan and purpose, not very good with a hydration backpack. We found a pack we liked, and the tag said the pack would work with a hydration system. Looking for the hydration part we could not find one. Asking for help from the lady on the checkout register got us a fellow from the shoe area. He spent 15 minutes looking the pack over, and looking all around the store for hydration. Nothing... not a good experience, and that comes down to staff education on products.

They have pretty much always had what we have needed as far athletic or recreation gear, however sometimes customer service isnt the best. They higher a lot of younger workers, which I like, I just wish there was more guidance for them. Ive had to hunt down help more than once.

Horrible experience. Tried to find new shoes for my daughter with a new orthotic but sales staff were more interested in joking around with each other then making a sale. Very small selection and staff was not knowledgeable or helpful. Ended up going down the road to make a purchase.

I got fast service and ended up buying something extra because it was on sale.

They have everything you can think of! I didnt expect to see sports bras but there they were! With bathing suits and work out clothing. We only went for skates! LOL

Everything was good, except when checking out we asked the cashier to double bag our items. Which she didnt do. The bags tore while on the counter.

Staff is lacking frindlieness for sure. Dont expect a discount unless you have your own coupon. I saw one coupon the cashier could gave used for me and she just wouldnt. Prices are to high.

How can you not like a sporting good store. Not a huge selection if youre looking for something specific. But a good General selection for camping equipment and other sports.

Its okay. Got a insulated water bottle that was on sale. I got hiking boots here before, but did not last. Cheaper model. Maybe if you got the expensive ones, they would be better.

We called the store with an issue with a firearm we purchased the day before and the manager didnt introduce himself when he came on the phone and interrupted me, told me there is no reason to disassemble a new weapon (familiarization with disassembly and assembly of weapon so you know how to clean never crossed his mind) and told me to YouTube problem or call manufacturer. Not willing to listen or help.

Always friendly staff. Sometimes they could use more staff in the shoe dept. One person only is overly worked meeting customers questions and needs.

Big 5 doesnt get enough notoriety. They have good prices, and lots of things that are difficult to find. From shoes, to telescoping fishing poles -- they are one of the places I need to remember more often! A High 5 - for Big 5!

Needed a black backpack super fast!!! Cashier was on it! I was in, out, and on my way in less than 15 mins! Oh yeah!

They have a good selection of sporting goods, and even have candy and plushies to give little sports fans something to hope for while you shop. If they dont appear to have something in stock, just ask, for they will often have it in the back, or be able to order it soon.
