Very expensive. They have what you need but the price gouging is just bad.They are handicap accessible, they make really good ribs outside that you can buy some days! They do have grocery pick up and sell good croissants. Being a member saves you money on purchases.Usually the stores are clean and the organization isnt bad.They have a pharmacy, deli, serve hot things, and sometimes have great 5/5 deals on cereals. They have a little of everything but dont come if youre on a strict budget. The same items at other stores are sometimes $3-$7 more here. That just blows my mind!Happy shopping!

Well its clean, (except definitely dirty restrooms), but always a nice produce section, nice if you need to get flowers on a small budget, or even nicer plants or flowers, always seem fresh, good pet food choices, and seem to be well stocked. If your hot and looking for cold alcohol, excellent walk in fridge, with nice selection. They seem to have a little of everything there, except I thought it odd they have no playing cards, but hey, cant always get what you want. If you use self checkout, and need assistance, generally always quick service, and seems to have a staff that is generally in good moods, and knowledgeable, and friendly. The meat dept is always stocked it seems, and the counter help is nice and quick, with a great display of meat, and seafood, Wish they could have porter house steaks more than they do, but also their flat iron steaks are awesome. Always seem to get everything I need, no complaints.

Clean and well laid out. The wine selection is the best Ive seen in the valley. Generous parking lot with handicapped parking and easy access too.

Albertsons has always been my favorite store in GP but the deli is the worst! Plan on spending 15-20 min waiting each time. It doesnt matter if theres one person ahead of you or several, the deli takes forever. The bakery and seafood counters are awesome!

I went to albertsons today and forgot a bag at the cash registerI had a full cart. Just that one bag was over 100 dollars. I immediately turned around and returned after realizing my vitamins were missingAlong with other items. The lady at the register had gotten off work. The manager would not check the cameras to find out what happened to my bag.They did not try to help me.Thus is ridiculous.So watch yourself when shopping at Albertson in Grantspass. Im sure I am not the only customer who has been robbed there.Very bad experience.

Our visit was nice. Here from out of the area for my nieces funeral we went to the deli to order food for the funeral. The manager of the deli I cant remember her name was really helpful! Night shift..head cashier i believe .. if not even shift manager ?? Idk. I didnt get her name but she was an older gal 50-ish (give or take) brown hair and an average build a little on the short side.. anyways ... LETS TALK ABOUT RUDE .RUDE ..RUDE.. I WOULDNT EVEN KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN I DO KNOW I WILL BE SHOPPING DURING DAY SHIFT ONLY.. I dont get some people.. Why?? Get into customer service if you dont like or enjoy people . Store is ok.. But Savon is a joke.. Fifteen people in line only to be told they are working on prescription and to try back later. And as usual, the drive up window is closed.

I understand to an extent short staffed but when I call in deli 3 hours before pick up that I would like fresh chicken and they dont drop it down until I got there. Not funny. I was late to Granddaughters birthday with chicken.....

Nobody there at the self checkout to help with an issue. Left without buying anything and went to Safeway. As always, this other store had great service, unlike this one.

A young man at the Deli seemed rather disgruntled and was not listening to me when I told him what I wanted. He started bagging a chicken that looked like it had sat there all day and I told him 3 times I wanted the freshly cooked chicken. Finally after he had almost completely bagged the old chicken I told him I did not want it. He poured it right out of the bag and into the pile he had taken it from. I told him that I wanted the freshly cooked stuff and he started picked what looked to be the oldest pieces from under the new. Then I asked if they had the mashed potatoes and gravy and although it was in the case it was difficult to identify because the top of the potatoes were broken and cracked (the color of refried beans). The gravy looked clotted. I had to instruct him to take the top off of the potatoes and dump it, stir what was underneath and see if they were any good. He didnt test it he just scooped it into a container, and when he stirred the gravy he made quite a mess of getting it all over the steam table. Some gravy dribbled down the side of the container and I asked him if he could wipe the outside of it but he paid no attention to me, and put the lid on and the price label and handed it to me.Previously I had made a trip through the usually delightful produce department. I was looking for some white meat peaches. I was disappointed because all of the peaches looked bad. They were too mushy and over-ripened. I picked one anyway because it is for a tortoise I have who isnt too picky.Anyway it was not the best trip Ive ever had to Albertsons. But you asked. I usually go to Fred Meyers but we were in the neighborhood by Allen creek Rd. In Grants Pass. OR (store # 3541).

Just got my sons 5th birthday cake from here. I wanted non dairy whipped topping and whipped borders. Ive gotten it before many times. We got a half sheet and a smash cake both with fudge in middle. Went to the car and took another look and the half sheet had buttercream borders and the smash cake had whipped borders. Called up and the guy said the baker said they cant do whipped borders... well the smash cake had it. It didnt make sense.. they couldnt do anything about it.. plus now we are scared to see whats in the middle because the receipt also says fresh strawberries where the filling says. We never asked for strawberries...Albertsons... what happened to your cakes? Your quality, and your customer service?Edit: Just saw they put 1st birthday on the smash. Didnt even tell them to write anything on the smash cake and told the lady it was his 5th birthday...

I really like the selection of different foods here. Things you cant find at Fred Meyer, Winco or WalMart. The store is also very well stocked. A couple of unfriendly cashiers, but everyone doesnt have a great personality. Not mean at all, just not friendly.

Have been shopping at Albertsons for years except when they changed owners but now that theyre back I really am enjoying it

It was easy finding what I was looking for and lots of good deals on various products. Wish there were more Albertsons around.

For the most part I really like Albertsons. Their prices can be fairly high which is a down fall. The one thing I really like though is that my bank has an atm there. That atm is also on the greendot network which means it is a free atm for PayPal cash cards and PayPal prepaid card, cash app cards, and many other cards that are on that network. Most people are unaware of that so they with go to the counter and reload their cards that way which comes with a significantly large fee when they could of just used the atm and added their money for free. They should put a sign up so people know that it isnt just a US Bank atm.

Not sure whats going on but theres no cash/cash back in self check and only two cashiers with long lines. So the wait was kind of long to check out. Their prices are much higher than Winco. Ill wait to do my shopping there.

I absolutely love this store!!!! And you can even use your Safeway card here. Im glad they decided to come back to Grants pass. Awesome place to get flowers for the ladys in your life. Or sick people (get well soon flowers).

Your employees dont know wger anything is located, totally under staffed so when we went to look for a certain product I had to wait 15 minutes in a line for them to tell me that they dont carry it. Its hollindaise sauce. Every grocery store Ive ever been to has it. Its even on the website! Im extremely dissatisfied with the lack of knowledge of the employees. On top of them ruining my mothers day breakfast the bathroom was absolutely disgusting.DO BETTER!

Very good food and the staff was great.

A very good supermarket with a good mix of reasonable and upscale items. Especially good for its bakery. We were even able to find vegan and gluten-free options as well as some low cost party snacks for our event. Overall a good place for quick stops and big shopping trips.

This is one of my favorite grocery stores. Its always clean, the associates are always friendly. Even when its busy, the store doesnt seem crowded. I live in a rural city about 40 minutes away where a Grocery Outlet and a Shop Smart are located. I avoid the Shop Smart and although the Grocery Outlet is great they dont always have some of the items that I like. Whenever I venture into Grants Pass...about once every 6 to 8 weeks I make sure to stop in to pick up favorite items at this Albertons.

Like this store. Makes me feel like I am back home in Dallas. Very home sick

Albertsons is great but Starbucks was terrible, no coffee ready by 7:30 she was just standing around. This is the second time I found myself waiting for her to make a pot of coffee. They open at 6am. Went back Saturday morning same time a deferent lady was on duty and she was ready and extremely pleasant to talk to the coffee was perfect 👌 they still have the same Manger who is the laziest, rudest and not very clean looking she still wont make coffee until 7AM then why is this place open? Others seem to enjoy their job and the coffee is always good and ready.

Albertsons has it all. Good location, it is clean and bright with the greatest selections and great employees. The speciality departments that stand out for me are the florist and the bakery. Other places my be a bit cheaper but Albertsons has it all and in the best ways.

Every time I walk in to this Albertsons I am always surprised by the lack of face masks. Today I saw 7 adults with no face masks and after talking with a few employees, this is supposed to be regulated by management and that many of those employees have already reached out to complain about the total lack of health safety for their employees and customers. Managements lack of proactive involvement in the face mask requirements puts many at risk and now means I cant return to this establishment (as someone with an invisible auto-immune disorder, I CANNOT interact with people not wearing face masks for my own life)

Food is to expensive. Some good deals but not enough to keep going back. Used to love there deli when they had more selections, but since reopening there is less to choose from and just doesnt taste as good. There deli coleslaw is my favorite than any place else Ive tried though.

I have shopped at Safeway/Albertsons since 1956 when it was located on 5th Street. Now digital coupons are not honored unless I spend $179.00 for a new phone! Not customer friendly for retired on a fixed income.I need to adjust my 5 star rating!

I think Albertson has the best selection of wild fish. Not lots of really good places in Grants Pass to buy quality, sustainable fish. My opinion!

Cant go wrong with Albertsons! Usually everything I need in one store with affordable prices, always has nice and courteous workers, and now that they have multiple self checkouts, I like going there even more than before!

Clean, they follow covid rules... Some of the helpers are rude but most are friendly.

Was not bad for a Christmas morning. Employees were very attentive and on the ready.

Albertsons was great, there wasnt the over population as in the bigger businesss/stores and finding idems was way easier and prices were cool too. We think well start going to Albertsons more often-

Elijah was helping me and my mother, when the other customers were ready he asked them before they could even say anything! He went and got someone to help them right away! I believe Elijah is an asset to your company and a great example of excellent customer service! Keep up the good work Elijah and I hope your finger gets better soon! (Oh he was also working with a finger crutch, and yes he used gloves)

Albertsons, take your high prices that you charge for groceries and invest some of that money in trainings to help your employees learn to PROPERLY wear a face mask. If they cant, atleast provide them with clothes pins to prevent mucus from spraying out their noses onto customers food.
