They installed new gate opener couple of years ago greatest price and service. Caller for a problem the came out quickly and made adjustment, works great again.

We have used Alpha for our HOA for a few years and the response, pricing and service have been great. In my experience, it has been difficult to find gate companies in Austin that will do service only and be reasonable with costs. After servicing for several years they did a full replacement of our slide gate operator. We did get the most out of that unit (~20 years) and many other companies would have replaced it far sooner. Few would service it, in fact. After the install, they continued to check on us and answered all our questions throughout the process.

This automatic gate company really impressed me with their EXCELLENT service! Their crew was very Dependable, trustworthy, honest, knowledgeable, experienced with my slide gate repair. Everyone weve worked with in the company, from Lisa at the office to Terry the manager, and their Certified AFA & IDEA Gate Designers and Installers have been so helpful and easy to work with. I highly recommend this company if you end up like me and stuck in your premises with an automatic slide gate that has malfunctioned at the worse time possible! When I called Alpha Gate & Door Co. and Lisa answered the phone I was really doubtful that they would be able to help me in a timely fashion, however she dispatched the manager Terry and he was there within 2 hours, identified the problem, and had my slide gate fixed at a very reasonable cost I may add and had me on my way to work in quick fashion. Had issue with driveway gate not working after the freeze. Called in the issue yesterday and Terry came by today. He worked a quick fix for us. He was very personable and professional. They had recently installed a new motor and fixed a weld for us a few months ago, so I want to offer a very belated thanks to Keelan for his professionalism and knowledge.

The guy who came to fix the gate did not know what he was doing. I was told he was a “trained” technician. He did not care to ask for the key for the actuator motor, and instead just ripped it off by force. His explanation was that these locks are just made flimsy. He gave me a quote that was ridiculous; that aptly matched his incompetence, for which I was charged $149. I was able to reach out to the original installer of the gate and got a brand new actuator installed in less than half of what he quoted. I am surprised by all the good reviews here. I was able to get my gate fixed now, and then I thought it fit to write this review. I do not remember the name of the technician. You might want to check with your scheduling people. I am the Board President of our HOA and we had a Toll Tag Reader go out on one of our gates that needed to be replaced with a new one. The gate company that we were working with was unable to track down and install a new Toll Tag Reader because of what they said was a supply issue. After three months of waiting, I called the parts supplier who informed me that there was not a supply issue on the part. I then asked for a referral for a company who could get the part and install it and they recommended that I contact Terry with Alpha Gate & Door Co. I contacted Terry on a Monday and they installed the new Toll Tag Reader three days later on Thursday, even during the busy Christmas Holiday rush. I would highly recommend Alpha Gate & Door and will certainly use them again!

Alpha Gate & Door Co. have always provided us with great service. They were the first company I called when I needed service for my electric gate after my new home warranty expired. What a breath of fresh air to find a company that truly honors honesty and customer service. We had a problem with our driveway gate opener, and called for a service appointment. Lisa who answers the phone led me through a couple simple troubleshooting checks to make sure it wasnt something simple. (it wasnt and what a nice gesture to try to save us from needing the service call) Trent came the next day for the service appointment and spent quite a longtime troubleshooting & fixing the issue, as it was an unusual issue. The pricing for all his time was extremely fair, and there was no attempt to upsell us on replacement parts that werent needed. I trust and appreciate the work Terry and Lisa did for my home and family. They worked quickly to repair my damaged by re-welding the post to the gate instead of a cheap bracket fix. A different company built and installed an electric sliding gate June of 2018. It worked for a short time and then sometimes it would not open & sometimes it would not close. That company was non responsive and disappeared. After messing with 2 other companies that gouged me for repairs that did not last I found Alpha Gate on google in Nov. 2019. They were so good and so fair it has been bothering me in the back of my mind that I havent written them a review they deserve. Im just not a guy that writes reviews but this is a good company that deserves support because they care. First visit Kealan quickly discovered a safety bumper pad sensor was not installed properly and fixed it for only the trip charge. Once in awhile after that I would have a problem with the gate closing and it was again because of the poor initial install. The beam sensor was tacked to a 2x4 pounded into the ground. When it rained the 2x4 moved so the sensor then wasnt aligned because of the movement and the gate thought something was in the way and would not close. Alpha talked me through getting it closed on the phone. Kealan thought about the problem, called me and came over with an awesome solution. He custom fabricated a nice steel bracket and attached the sensor to it. He attached the bracket to concrete and solved the problem permanantly. Now the gate I was hating works great and to my wife Im a hero. Trust me, its not a happy life when your wife cant get her car out of the driveway! These folks are really honest and fair. Called Alpha Gate this morning for a 16x9 garage door replacement. Originally was suppose to get a gate hooked up to the houses electricity, but they installed it with a solar panel. During the past year the gate stopped working four different times and they kept switching out the batteries and even replaced the solar panel once. Still the battery kept dying and now they are telling me that its because of the position of where the solar panel was installed. Now I am left with an inoperable gate.

I needed a repair on my nine year old swing gate to the Porte cochère. After searching I chose Alpha for their promise of prompt service, possibly same day.
