I do not like over rating places. This place has NOTHING wrong with it. It is a great shop. The lady there is supes friendly/adorable; you will find a lot of off the wall fairly unique items here. You will find a lot of Texan inspired items here. You will not find fine art here. You will find costume jewelry here. You will find hand made soaps here. You will find chandeliers here. You will find some cool coasters here. You will find a lot of signs with clever sayings here. In short it is a very good shop with a lot of things a lot of other stores in grapevine offer. Itd be an amazing store for downtown Dallas. Five+ stars. But it is in a fairly saturated market. Still it is one of the best.
I visited A Hole in the Wall for the first time in late November 2020 during a shopping outing on Main Street in Grapevine and I live here - wish Id stopped by sooner! They offer great gifts and home decor items for friends or yourself. I picked up several holiday gifts and something for myself during my visit. Plan to return soon!
Cute shop, however when I entered the employee immediately invited me to remove my mask despite the local ordinances requiring wearing it. Regardless of anyones personal feelings on mask wearing, being asked to remove my mask by a store employee was a very awkward experience. Then two other ladies entered the store and the employee told them they could remove their masks, which all 3 did. The ladies commented that they appreciated it and the 3 launched into a discussion on politics that left me feeling quite uncomfortable. I quickly left after replacing the items I had intended to purchase. While this business offers a good selection of cute gifts, home decor, womens clothing, and soaps, its clear that only a certain demographic is welcome as shoppers. I wont be returning.
Gina has created a business that is full of enjoyment. I appreciate her for trying to stick items that the other stores dont have. As well as not having the items that other stores carry. My best friend and I think Gina is Greatness. She has recently picked up a dog to be apart of her store.Go see Gina and tell her Layne sent you.
Came all the way from Lexington, KY to visits family. Came to Grapevine to shop. Young employee on her cellphone the entire time. We had to speak to her 3 times to get her to talk back because she was so consumed on her phone. Disappointed. Not a way to have a small business.
There were some cute things here, but the prices were ridiculously high. Aside from that, the woman Im assuming was the owner seems to judge others based on appearance. She was gabbing away to the well dressed older couple who were ringing out when my mom and I walked in, but she never once greeted us. We were dressed up, but I do dye my hair and am used to getting negative reactions from it. It was more insulting than usual because she acted like she was making sure we werent stealing. Her shop may have a theft problem, evident from all the signs she has posted about being on camera, but it is poor customer service to not speak to a customer and still eye every move they make. I did see two items I was debating purchasing, despite the high prices, until I really thought about it. Why pay three times the price it would cost me to make the items when Im being treated like a criminal? Will not be returning.
Lots of cute items for your shopping needs here. Definitely worth a visit.
Well, first of all, its just a cute shop. They have a little of everything and I always find something unique. One of my faves on Main.
Great local shop! So much to see in store. Your one stop gift and home decor spot!
Higher end tourist stuff
Fun stuff.
Wow, a hole in the wall
I bought some soaps there.
