Walked around the showroom for 10 or 15 minutes waiting for one of the five or so sales people working on the floor. Hoping to gets some help with a lantern mount. When a sales person finally saw me they immediately offered to help the customer who came into the store after me.First time and last time I will shop here.

In particular, Nina Hirsch, who has been a constant fixture (pardon the pun) within the store for many years is a fantastic ambassador for the high touch, customer first focus they have in this family owned business. For our new home build in Argyle, Texas, my builder had us work with Passion Lighting. The selection was great and great to work with. Even better, a few years later, having a problem with a fan, I called them and was blown away by the customer service, and to find the fan we had purchased had a lifetime warranty. Passion Lighting is amazing. We built a new home in Tucson, AZ, and because the DFW area has so much retail, we decided to look for lighting in DFW and take it with us to the new house. The selection at Passion Lighting was excellent, and the showroom is large, so you can see and touch the products, not just see pictures in a catalog. More importantly, the people were really helpful through multiple visits, helping us pick the right ceiling fans and light fixtures for the room sizes and colors of our new house.For all of the patience, hand-holding, and expertise, youd expect to pay more, and Id be OK with that. But we dont believe we paid more. Months later, while researching ceiling fans for a relative, we found a smaller version of one of our ceiling fans on the website of a big box store. Same brand, same model, just smaller. But the price on the big box website was higher. So Passion Lighting sold us a larger version of the same fan for less money than Big Orange was asking. In other words, all of the patience, hand-holding, and expertise didnt cost more.Finally, one of our ceiling fans failed to operate when I installed it. Ive installed many ceiling fans, and I know what Im doing. But Passion Lighting doesnt necessarily know my level of expertise. Who knows, I could have installed it incorrectly. (I didnt, but how could they know that?) And to make matters worse, we bought the fans in August, and I was installing them in February. But one phone call, and they said theyd take care of it. Keep in mind that Im now 1,000 miles from the store. The next business day, I get a phone call saying a new fan is on its way to me. Unbelievable customer service.So its excellent pre-sale service, pricing, and post-sale service. Passion Lighting is outstanding in every way.

I really like this store. They offer such a beautiful variety of lighting possibilities that it makes it hard to choose. The store is beautifully laid out; like items being hung together to enable easier perusing. For the energy conscious, and Green complient, LED options are abundant. I didnt ultimately purchase from Passion Lighting, but that doesnt mean I wont in the future.

Bought outdoor lamps for first time. I knew what I wanted but needed direction on how to measure to ensure I would get the right size lamps. Very poor customer service. Agree with other reviews on service. Walked through the 7/25 around 3:30 store twice and none of the 4 or 5 sales people made an effort to ask if I needed help. Also called a few days earlier and asked for a few pictures and never received those via email either. Sorry but you havent earned my business. Most if the fixtures looked outdated also.

Just came through the whole store. I have bought two lights this week at other places but I need two more. There were several sales people working and talking with each other. I did a big lap through whole store slowly. Not one person asked me if they could help, nor paid me a lick of attention. I probably could have walked out the door with what I wanted... these people do not pay attention! You will have to tackle someone to get any help. I told my son I just won’t buy here now on principle! (Not busy inside either - Monday afternoon at 3:00)!!!

The sales staff have very poor customer service and sales skills. They must have great sales, because they act like you are just another speed bump. I would not recommend going there unless you already know what you want because they will not try to help. The salesman that approached me answered my question with, we have a million dollars worth of inventory. I dont know if we have what youre looking for. We just left.

I recently worked on remodeling several rooms of my home and spent quite a bit of time working with Sherry Y. at Passion Lighting. I am very indecisive and have to see everything before I make a decision. Sherry was very kind and very helpful! She would walk the store with me pointing out different fixtures that she thought could work for me and then would pull all the catalogs and look through all of them with me as well! She was so, so patient! I really appreciated her expertise and willingness to go the extra mile, letting me look at the finish samples from the different manufacturers, printing out lots of pics etc. Ultimately I did buy a few chandeliers and a fan from Passion Lighting. I had an issue where the remote I bought from them for the fan didnt work with that fan, per my electrician, and Passion Lighting sent in their own electrician to repair the issue so I did indeed have a working remote at no additional cost to me. So great customer service (actually all the salespeople there are very nice and helpful). My only negative comment is they only order items once a week so if you miss their order date, you have to add an extra week to your wait time for your product, so plan accordingly. I will gladly go back to Passion Lighting and Sherry should any more lighting needs arise.

I had to return a built-in light fixture from a ceiling fan because it stopped working after about 18 months. Gabby at Passion Lighting took it upon herself to contact the manufacturer since this is an expensive light fixture and one that she felt like should have lasted longer. Working with her supplier, she managed to replace the fixture at no-charge. We appreciate the initiative she took upon herself. This is what customer service is all about. Thanks Gabby and Passion Lighting.

I work as a specifier in the consulting electrical engineering field and was recommended to call this company. Needed some information on automated lighting. Someone named Bruce returned my call and basically told me he doesn’t like to answer or help anyone he hasn’t met. Also informed me he 3 plus weeks behind.He was very short and somewhat rude and arrogant. I WILL NOT call them again.

I cant say enough good things about these guys. Ive shopped most of the DFW showrooms and online and PL is heads and toes above the rest----more knowledgeable, on trend, great service and lead times, and way better priced. Ive done several remodels with them and each time theyve been able to answer my zillion questions or find the answers if they dont know. Ive brought them random online pics of things I liked and they have identified and ordered for me---they have more sources for lighting and decor then whats shown on the floor so be sure to ask. The owner and his landscape guy blew me away with their insight on landscape lighting, installation, dimmers and recessed can lighting. Definitely worth the trip. and the free cookies help.......

Walked in not knowing exactly what we needed (needed a light kit for a couple of ceiling fans). Staff went out of their way to help us with research and how to procure the items (they ended up being from a brand they did not carry). Even after identifying that we wouldn’t be buying from them, the staff did a great job supporting us.

Horrible store, will never spent a dime with them. We ordered fans, lights including installation. Due to bad weather he wasn’t able to install the outside lights. Completely understandable. However he told his manager he couldn’t do it because it’s to high up, the light were supposed to be on the floor. Sales lady called me a liar when I explained her the situation. We bought from them multiple times, however this time they did not met our expectations of good customer service.
