The employees were helpful but the manager treated them so poorly. I hated to see how he yelled at a young male employee about a simple question he had about my order.
I would strongly recommend the Sherwin-Williams Store on NW Highway in Grapevine for all your paint needs. The employees are friendly and helpful. They do a wonderful job matching paint colors.
Keyla helped me tremendously today. She is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and most of all, made me feel important as a customer. She is a keeper! Thank you Keyla for helping me get the paint samples I needed for our projects!!
Needed some old paints color matched and Jonathan was absolutely amazing. Very knowledgeable and friendly.
Terrible experience. Awful store - awful rep - awful manager. We hired a painter (Wayne with spectrum painting) do some painting/texturing in our home. After we got back into the house we noticed some really awful paint consistency in multiple areas. It was shockingly bad. We wanted to double check that the materials used were suitable to our prior base coat and reassure ourselves of the process to repair. We’ve had bad experiences with other contractors so like to double check things. We then called the store to double check the primer and were put in touch with a product specialist. Unbeknownst to us, this person was Ruben - who also happened to be the painters rep. We had no idea at the time bc this was our first encounter with a “product specialist”. He answered our questions via text and we felt confident that the work could be repaired. He asked us who our painter was but we declined to tell him and thanked him for his advice. Apparently, the paint job must have been worse than we thought - bad enough for Ruben to go behind our backs, and find out the painters info. He then called Wayne to tell him we were complaining about him. We did no such thing! Imagine the awkwardness when the painter receives that phone call while in our home! The painter scolded us (all captured on ring camera) for going behind his back and calling SW with questions. We didn’t know we weren’t allowed to ask product questions on products being used in our home that we paid for. Lol. Can’t make this stuff up. We were forced to find a new painter shortly thereafter - and are out 8k. We do appreciate Ruben calling to apologize for his actions but it was too late really. Now to my second complaint. The manager at this location - Brad - is just plain awful. He and Ruben (painter rep) walked through our home to look at the shoddy paint job and they not only noticed the poor workmanship but discussed the deficiencies in detail and what steps we could take to repair it. Then, when we filed a BBB complaint against Wayne with Spectrum, a rep from this same store (likely Brad) told the BBB our paint looked great. The BBB actually almost closed our case because of this. If we had not recorded the walk through and proved SW was willing to lie for this painter, they would have closed it. What a disaster this store is. Poor management, lack of honesty, integrity and all things that we look for in a company when choosing to do business. They don’t treat the customer with respect - and cannot believe how incredibly rude Brad was when I called with questions about the primer when we were repairing the paint with a new painter. We will never buy sherwin Williams again and after careful research found Benjamin a Moore is a much higher quality paint with a less runny consistency and fewer coats needed.
The people at this store are extremely easy to work with, friendly, motivating, and not going to waste your money. I appreciate them, and will only go to the Grapevine location
The girl working there acted like I was putting her out. I told her I had an 8X10 wall to cover and she spouted off the statistics on how much a surface area a gallon of paint can cover. I can Google too.Fortunately home depot was better versed and ended up being less expensive as well.
Amazing staff, the 2 girls here really go above and beyond
I had a negative experience with Elizabeth. She had a bad attitude and could barely be bothered to help me. She gave one word answers and acted like it was an insult to have to interact with customers. On top of that, she messed up my order and didn’t properly mix a custom paint color—I didn’t find out until after we’d spent a morning painting. After it started to dry, we realized the color was wrong. I went back to the store, and Jonathan provided me with great customer service. He was very helpful. He fixed the issue, replaced the pain for free, and offered to take 50% off a brush. Jonathan mentioned that the reason Elizabeth messed up the order is because she didn’t use the custom paint recipe matched by a different location and didn’t bother to test the end result even though she changed the paino base. Pretty basic mistakes. I have always had great experiences at Sherwin Williams, but was disappointed by Elizabeth. This review would have been one star, but Jonathan’s professionalism brought it back up to a 3.
Fast, friendly & knowledgeable staff. Always clean and orderly.
Elizabeth was great! Easy curb-side pick up. Colors look amazing!
Elizabeth was very rude and acted like we were bothering her and wasting her time. We bought 2 gallons of expensive paint and both my wife and I left never wanting to return to this location. We don’t understand the types of finish and asked for Elizabeth’s opinion, what would be best for bathroom location, steam, etc. Elizabeth stormed around and didn’t want to explain anything. Don’t shop the Grapevine store unless you enjoy bad attitude and horrible service. We have shopped at many Sherwin-Williams locations and they all, except Grapevine location, have been great experiences. Elizabeth didn’t even bother to ask if we needed any paint sticks or other supplies, which we needed. We went to Lowe’s for our supplies and their service was friendly and helpful. Wish we had not bought anything at the Grapevine Sherwin-Williams location. Good paint but do not shop the Grapevine location.
Im happy to report that they offer great customer service, have a good selection of high quality paints and that they still carry wallpaper!!!! Thats good news because we plan to re-wallpaper our kitchen shortly and not many stores are carrying it anymore. Way to go, Sherwin-Williams!

From door to first can shaking, 20 mins. The girl here is incompetent, get anyone of the boys and theyll be faster. Time is money in this business
Very knowledgeable staff but awfully expensive. 1 gallon of paint is $75? And the primer is 50+ dollars?!
Great people. Great service.
Very friendly, knowledgeable and fast service.
Excellent and friendly service - will be returning in the future!
Unfriendly to you unless you are a contractor. Not a good store for individuals. Go to Lowes. They carry Sherwin Williams paint.
Kinda pricey but you get what you pay for.
Always know whats best
