I finally decided to get contacts after wearing glasses for 10 years. Making an appointment was so easy and they even showed me how to put my contacts in and take them out. The doctor was very friendly and thorough and listened to all of my concerns. Highly recommend!

What a great experience! I walked into Nostlgc Eyewear in Great Neck to see if they could fix my dads broken frames. Although they were beyond repair, Earl was so wonderful in helping me find a suitable replacement well within my budget and resizing the current lenses to fit the new frames. Plus he had it done in half an hour! So grateful for the quick and professional service. My dad, who is in assisted living and cant really get around, loved the new retro-style glasses and was so happy when I brought them to him. As an added bonus, Earl tightened my frames for me, too, before I left the store. Highly recommend this business.

I love love my prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses I just picked up this week. My eyeglasses are the most comfortable and stylish pair I have ever worn. I’m Asian and need a specific fit for my face and these exceeded my expectations. And I never thought I needed prescription sunglasses before, but they are going to be very useful on sunny days. I will be back next year to check out their inventory and would gladly support this business. The sales rep at the store (forgive me, I’m terrible at remembering names) was very professional, helpful, and patient with me. I tried on so many pairs to find my perfect fit. Most other places bother you as you try on their eyeglasses, but that was not my experience here. Thank you again for helping me find my fave eyeglasses and shades!

Got a pair of Modo frames and new lenses, everything came out perfectly and it was all easy and smooth. The selection of frames between the Great Neck and Plainview locations is very large, which was helpful because most frames look strange on my face. We were able to find something that suited me and fit perfectly, and everything was done and completed in no time. Helpful folks, and a very cool vibe.

Great location, friendly staff! We went in to shop for my sons first pair of glasses and he was so nervous. Earl (at the great neck location) made my AOM feel comfortable and was very helpful in providing guidance and tips for buying his first pair. We stopped at a few other places in town but no other eyewear shop compares. I will be coming back for myself and any other eye care services my son needs. Highly recommended for value and service!

Came in for prescribed transition lenses added to my shades I bought online and the process was so easy and fast. Came in Saturday evening and had my glasses back by Tuesday.

Both the owner Jun and his son were so kind and helpful. I had not bought glasses in quite awhile, and have a challenging prescription. They were very good at explaining all the different lens options that would work best for me. I ordered two pair, and then went back to have to adjust one, and ended up buying sunglasses too! They were wonderful when I brought my daughter in to get a pair of glasses for her. Yesterday when I went in to get my eye exam and my own pair of glasses, they were all fantastic again! Steve did the preliminary exam on me, and he was so professional and yet still have the time to engage in small talks with me. The eye doctor was very kind and caring. She explained all the procedures in detail beforehand. It’s not easy to find a frame that will suit my face, but because of Jun’s patience and knowledge, we found several pairs. I rarely write reviews due to my lazy nature, but because of my amazing experience at Nostlgc Eyewear, I want to recommend them for their exceptional services.

It is no easy task finding the right fit to address eyewear fashionably and functionally, but at Nostlgc Eyewear they manage to knowledgeably assist clients of all ages (our family experience : 2 years old, 4 years, 13 years with special needs, 30s, 40s and senior citizens). I just finished up a wonderful visit at Nostalgc Eyewear and I could not be more satisfied! From the friendly “welcome back doc!” to the ultra clean and spacious office to the terrific selection of fashionable frames Nostalgc can not be beat! I have a fairly complicated prescription and the last pair of progressive glasses by Nostalgc were the best glasses I have ever owned. That says a lot since I have had glasses for about (gasp) 40 years! Also, as I told Jun - the proprietor- that my last pair of glasses got more compliments than all my prior glasses combined!
