Dr. Meltzer is a true professional who took it upon himself to help me repair my glasses, a pair of rimless progressives. It was broken at the bridge and I was in panic as I did not have a spare pair. At the beginning I did not realize he was the Optometrist but he offer to repair. The result was a miracle. I appreciate the doctor who is friendly, knowledgeable and skillful, a wonderful person. In my opinion it is an absolute rarity for an eyeglass store owner to offer repair service, for free, instead of selling, especially at a time when the customer is most in need.

This review is long overdue. I owe Spectacles of Great Neck a debt of gratitude for their generosity, kindness, and impeccable customer service. I was halfway into a month-long trip to the USA from Belgium when I realized I forgot extra contact lenses. The pair I wore was about to expire. I walked into Spectacles expecting to buy a 6-month supply of lenses but instead the store managers gave me a sample pair to tide me over, saving me money and grief. Thank you so much. I love this place, I walked in to fix my glasses. Immediately I was greeted even tho staff was attending other clients. Spectacles is the best place to get glasses! They carry incredible product in a range of styles and prices, and I can always count on them to have the latest trends in glasses. I opened a business in the area in 2016 and I met Dr. Meltzer at that time. He proved knowledgeable and caring, and helped me find that Ive been consistently given the wrong glasses/contact lens prescription since I was 13. Dr. Meltzer is a great guy! He is professional and friendly. I have got few frames from this store and recently a chrome hearts frame. The first frame had some technical issues. He took it back and ordered a new frame for me. Customer service is excellent. I recommend this store without any hesitation.

I went here because I saw online that they have nice selection of frames. I am very picky and have gone to a few eye wear stores and walked out unhappy. Upon my arrival here the lady at the front desk and Dr. Meltzer gave me a warm and friendly welcome. I immediately felt happy to see that they actually have all of the nice designer frames as they stated on their website. It only took me about 20 mins to pick out my amazing frames. A few days went by and when I picked up my new glasses I noticed that my prescription was wrong. Dr. Meltzer checked my vsion and corrected the other ophthalmologists mistake. I appreciate greatly the professional and kind service that was given. Will continue to purchase my future frames from here.
