Products are great but do not have them install. Get your own installers, carpet exchange Installers had no clue as to what they were doing, I had 4 rooms of new carpet installed and it only took 14 hours with 3 installers every room has no less then 4 seams that stick out like sore thumb, several seams required cutting apart and redone but still looks horrible they did not use floor leveler so as you walk on carpet you feel the seams and dips, paid for new threshold and the old ones were used again closet doors was not reinstalled correctly I opened closet door and was hit in the head as it fell out, still waiting to get the problems corrected and was told maybe they can get someone out in the next week or two

Excellent experience with Carpet Exchange in Greeley. Christopher was attentive and informative and did a fantastic job helping us pick our flooring and being flexible as we made changes. The installation was a breeze and I cant wait to go back again to get other parts of our home redone.

I was doing a remodel of my personal home and started my process with Carpet Exchange and Jim Kanka. Jim was outstanding as he had previous construction knowledge which helped in the set up and scheduling process. We did a remodel of a kitchen and 4 baths .....and we completed the remodel within 8 weeks of starting thanks to Carpet Exchange and Jim. Awful service. Kris never calls back, never answers emails and doesn’t follow through. His lies and excuses come out one after another. He came out and measured my entire bathroom and offered great advice only to find out my order never got placed. Claims that I said to cancel it. Now my project is completely off. I gave myself plenty of lead time knowing many products are on back order.

My husband and I wanted to have the carpet removed and hardwood floors installed in our master bedroom and closet. Amazing experience from start to finish: Christopher promptly took measurements and sent us a quote, shipped out samples, and followed up with the order status every step of the way.Martin, the project manager, upheld the same standards as Christopher and contacted us immediately when they received the product to schedule drop off of the materials. Excellent communication with scheduling the date/time of the work. The installation team was excellent: they were very polite and professional. They went through great lengths to make sure the floors were clean and returned all furniture to their original places.I highly recommend Carpet Exchange. Ours was a relatively small project, likely with a small profit margin, but they didn’t sacrifice communication or customer service. We’ll use them again for the flooring when we finish our basement this winter.

Carpet Exchange always goes above and beyond to meet the needs of the customer!

We hired Carpet Exchange for both a carpet installation and granite counters. We were actually on our way to Home Depot to pay for both jobs that had been quoted there, and decided to stop at Carpet Exchange on our way, just to see if they could quote a better price. So happy we stopped!Carpet first - We were trying to match the existing carpet in the house and CE had a very close color match with a better quality and warranty than HD. The quote was $1100 less than HD. Our salesperson, Mariah, came to the house the next morning to measure. The install date was quick. The installers were on time, fast and professional. They moved our furniture without scratching our wood floors or banging up the walls. They installed two rooms on the main floor and an upholstered staircase. Carpet looks fantastic. Mariah called the next day to follow up and check on how things went. Very happy with the entire process.Granite counters - CE quoted the exact same stone, edge profile, and square footage as HD and came in $1300 less. The granite installers came to measure/template our existing counters about 10 days later. We then found out that we could save even more if we did the tear-out of the old counters ourselves - which we did. We provided our own new undermount sink. Our sink is in a corner, and the old counters had a seam there, so I figured there would also be a seam in that area in the new granite so I was surprised and pleased when that slab arrived in one solid piece. The install date was about 7 days after the template/measure date. There were two installers. They showed up within their delivery window even though it had snowed the night before and the roads were bad that day. Two additional guys showed up to help carry our largest slab into the house, then left right after that. Our stove fits really tight and I was concerned that if the granite measurements were even just a little bit off, the stove wouldnt fit back into its place - but everything fit perfectly. We had one slab with a tiny notch out for cabinet trim, and that fit perfectly also. We had ordered windowsills to match and I was expecting plain granite rectangles for those, but the had flared the granite out on the front edges and rounded the corners. They are beautiful and much nicer than I was expecting! The installers mounted the new sink and caulked it, and drilled the required hole for our faucet. All together they were done in an hour and a half. Again, Mariah called the next day to follow up and make sure everything went ok.Overall I feel that we got excellent service, quality products and a fantastic price. Overall our experience was great. The gentlemen who helped us find carpet, measure, and set up our install was friendly, knowledgeable, and accurate. We had another quote from Home Depot and Carpet Exchange came in about $400 cheaper. We weren’t fully satisfied with the install however. Damage was done to our walls moving furniture; a corner of trim was removed, it was already loose, so I don’t blame them that it came off, but it wasn’t put back in a place we could find it - we didn’t find it for another 2 months and had already purchased a new corner at that point; there were also lots of debris and staples left over.So overall nothing was too bad and service was great - it just wasn’t perfect.

We live our new Vinyl Plank flooring. The Install was done expertly. The salesman could have been more prompt in returning calls. We ended up bypassing him and went with the store employee.

We have purchased from Carpet Exchange twice. The first was for our basement living area. The second was for our upstairs living area and stairs. Both times Heather helped us. She is informative, helpful and gives you the best deal. She worked hard to show us the difference in pads and carpet.I am so pleased with both purchases. Our basement carpet has been installed for three years. We have had two spills and a sick kid. Heather walked me through the best way to clean it and you cannot even tell anything happened - and one spill was coffee! She took time after the purchase to make sure we were still taken care of.Our last installer, Salvador, worked hard to remove our carpet and pad. He made sure to do a nice clean of the area before laying the new pad and carpet. He gave me some tips on some other projects he noticed we were working on. Again, taking time from his work to help me.Everyone involved from Heather, to Chris measuring, to Salvador installing did a great job. I am happy and will continue to use them as we work towards new areas of our home.

Very un happy cant get response from Manager Kris about my carpet and flooring. It takes weeks for him to call me back my kitchen floor boards keeps separating I have a roll in my livingroom carpet. HE KEEPS BLAMING MY WHEELCHAIR AND DIDNT GIVE THE CARPET i wanted because of my wheelchair. I need help in resolving this issue.

Christopher went above and beyond with our recent tile purchase. He helped us figure out what color of grout we were wanting, and the perfect tile for our spa-like bathroom. He called with updates on ordering and installation. Very professional, knowledgeable about the product, and personable. We will contact Christopher again for any of our remodeling needs.

Tried to work with the store to get some carpet and tile installed in my house. They were very nice in the show room, but when it came to my home, different story. They use digital measuring tapes and claim to be more accurate, but they measured about 15% more than two other stores. Went with another store, less carpet ordered, achieved the same seems. Somethings off with the way they measure.

We were looking to replace the carpet and kitchen flooring in our house. Kris was very helpful and detailed about each grade of carpet in helping choose the right kind. He was very helpful giving details about the right kitchen flooring that was right for us. The crew was on time and was done with both floors in one day. Which was very impressive and did an awesome job. Definitely will refer to carpet exchange and will come back for any future remodels.

What a help!!! Kris and team bent over backwards to help us out. We were on a tight budget, tight time frame and dealing with company coming. Kris was on time for all appointments, accurate and above all sensitive to our needs having to deal with all that we had going.Jessie the installer was a perfectionist and took long runs in an old house and made them look straight. The long hallways are perfect despite curves and bowing in the old walls. Over 25 feet of wood lament looks perfect.The tiled showers are exceptional. Guest have commented how nice our house looks and the bathroom and guest rooms are like staying in a 5 star resort.Responsiveness from everyone was exceptional, I dont know how we would have done all we needed to do in the short time we had while dealing with the passing away of 2 family members within 24 hours of each other and having to finish our project to have the house ready for out of town guest. We were in the ultimate time crunch and Carpet Exchange of Greeley, Kris and the rest of the team exceeded our expectations.Thanks Kris -- Job well done

I told the salesman that I was just beginning to look around at flooring and just wanted to look around. The guy kept asking if I wanted A or B or C. I kept telling him that I didnt know yet what I wanted. He kept asking more questions. I told him he was asking too many questions that I didnt have answers for. He kept at itI finally had to tell him, in so many words, that I wanted to be left alone to look around. I wont be back.

Since they specialize in carpet (its in the name!) you will get a much higher quality experience.

They were so wonderful to work with! Not only were their prices lower than the competition but they were also able to meet our super tight deadline and gave us next day install. The install was done wonderfully and in half the time I thought it would take and even vacuumed when it was completed. Id definitely work with them again!

Carpet Exchange was able to meet are needs and get us installed in under a week! We had a graduation party at our home and wanted to update our home before we had anyone over. I have dealt with Carpet exchange in Fort Collins for years and LOVE them. No real issues. Greeley, thats another story. They did NOT communicate. Had to call many times before I would receive a call back. Very often no one even answered the store line. Didnt communicate on how payment was to be paid. Didnt get a contract until 2 days before install after they called stating how the balance had to be paid. Install ran late. Installers were told by the store (per them) they had 2 full days when they only had one. They cut the material in the house by an intake vent. There was dust everywhere. The manager Chris was NOT pleasant to work with. I found out later that there is no territory for the stores so you are welcome to go to any Carpet Exchange. Even after telling the manager I work with the Fort Collins store and thought I had to go to Greeley because of the location of the house, he didnt tell me I could call Fort Collins. Will NOT use this location/store again. Very bad business practice.

Our job was less than good short on materials started job in August didnt finish till December. I had to clean up our walk way after tile cutter left each day, I would never recommend them to any one.Gave us excuses on everything!

The hardwood floors on the main level are worn out and the basement has old linoleum. Heather provided me with answers to all my concerns and educated me about my options. I really am grateful.

Michael Baldino was super friendly and knowledgeable! Talked to me about quartz vs granite and I am so glad I listened too him! Store was clean and their prices were exceptional!

The carpet and pad are still preforming about a year from install. I am writing the review because I found the business card of the Kristofer the store manager in my wallet and was reminded of the frustration of this install and how the store did a terrible job communicating preferences to their installers. I honestly just wanted to figure out where the miscommunication happened that caused trim from my 100 year old refinished staircase removed to install the carpet. It wasnt something I couldnt repair, but it will never be the same. The manager insisted that I was fishing for some amount of money off my install and wanted to throw the installer under the bus and had to come to my house to look at what had happened. We can still take back the money we paid the installer I am about a year out from the job and I am still steaming from wasting my time having the manager come to my home and just not listening to me. I will stick with trusted local suppliers and installers from now on.

I was very apprehensive about choosing new flooring and getting it installed. Kris and Jonathan were very helpful about explaining the pros and cons of each type. Kris came out immediately to give me an estimate. It seemed very fair. I went to home depot to see about getting a second estimate. Their selection is very limited, they charge for estimates, and they are booked way ahead. Decided I would not get a better deal from them. Went with Kris at Carpet Exchange. Ordered a cortec vinyl wood grain. Set up an install date exactly at the time I needed. Installers arrived exactly on schedule, moved furniture, and installed it in two days when I thought it would take at least four days. They had to remove tile and old carpeting. I am very particular but could find absolutely nothing to complain about. I also had carpeting replaced on my stairs. Also done very well. I absolutely love my new floors. Couldnt be happier,. Many thanks to Kris and his staff. 10 stars.

Kris Zavala and his team have gone far beyond my expectations! Always going the extra mile for their clients and taking care of bussines. Met Kris from the Carpet Exchange Greeley location at the Colorado Home and Garden store. He was attentive and very helpful going over all of my choices. We selected the perfect floor that would hold up to my very active pack of German Shepherds. He even brought samples out to my house so I could be sure of the color choice (above and beyond, since I live east of Parker!) The install crew was on time every day, polite, professional, and extremely helpful. They even pointed out a possible leak in my toilet and dishwasher (both of which they had to move to put the floors down). They showed me the toilet problem early enough in the overall project so I had time to run into town and pick up a new toilet, which they installed and even hauled off the old toilet. Im in the middle of a major renovation on my entire house, and Carpet Exchange from first to last has been my favorite group to work with so far. I highly recommend them!

I cant express my gratitude enough to Jonathan and Carpet Exchange. I had a bad situation with Home Depot that was going to leave my tenants with bare floors with carpet nail boards all the way around the house until July 17th. I called Jonathan and took at least 30 minutes of his time talking about different option to get carpet in immediately. Never once was I rushed to get off the phone. Decided after talking with him to go into the store. Jonathan walked me through options and gave me time to get things in order with a bad deal with Home Depot. I called him the next morning and talked with Chris and Jonathan. Both were very polite and attentive. Had my carpet ordered from the warehouse and a crew set to install 2 days later. The crew showed up on time and I expected a fight due to the crew Home Depot sent. Couldnt have been more please with the crew carpet exchange sent. They were great. No complaining about tearing up the remainder of carpet and pad, no complaints about the subfloor and absolutely no complaints about the furniture they had to move. They called me when they finished and my tenants are happy again. I cant recommend this company enough for your flooring needs. I ended up with heavier moisture resistant pad and a better carpet then I had ordered from Home Depot 2 months ago. The cost was 50.00 over what I paid to Home Depot. Was so worth it to have an honest company work with us on our time. Thank you again Carpet Exchange. You will be my first choice next time I need flooring.

My mother and I would like to very much thank the store manager Kris at this location. My mother lives in Arizona and is replacing her floors in a new home. This is new to her and I was unable to get to Arizona to help her choose the correct floors. Kris knew we would not be buying from carpet exchange and it made no difference to him. Kris helped me find products that she could buy at her local stores. Kris even spoke to the Arizona company to give them the codes need to order the correct shaw plank floor and mohawk carpet. I wish you all were in Arizona, Carpet Exchamge had way better pricing and superb customer service! Thank you Kris & Carpet Exchange

Staff is pretty rude and condescending. I tried to ask a few a questions and felt like I was being judged and looked down on.

I paid$2300 for carpet in my living room and two bedrooms, and the installation was terrible, all the seams dont match, and if it gets humid at all it wrinkles, i have called twice, and went in person twice to get it fixed, still is the same condition. Been installed for three months. DONT BUY HERE

We paid for our transition piece at least 6 weeks ago, still waiting for it.........
