We stripped our old kitchen down to the floorboards! No walls, no ceilings, no restrictions! Both our architect and a close family member recommended Vertex so that’s where we went. We chose LVP for the dining room, heated tile and quartz countertops for the kitchen and a cozy carpet in the adjoining TV room. We are delighted with the quality-and the beauty of all the products. The installers are true craftsmen. Candace and Paul are talented young designers perfect to help you complete your signature look and style in your home.

Not a customer of the place but sub contractors beware. First they will have their sales person beg you to finish a job quickly because the previous sub contractors quit on them. They will then try and offer you way below normal cost for the work, have you complete the job, ask you to come back in a few weeks because they “didn’t order enough flooring” and then refuse to pay you. Months later send you an invoice saying that you didn’t do the work to their standards and that they had to hire other people to do repairs. They take advantage of good people who do honest work. The job was also looked at by another owner of another flooring business who will testify that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the installation. Consumers also beware when doing business with this company in the future as we have no other remedy than to place a lien on the homeowners property due to non payment. This is a “local” company who prides themselves on taking advantage of honest, hard working individuals. The owner himself has made some very derogatory comments while at the same time admitting that he had never even visited the property. He contacted us to install the flooring that they were short on when originally doing the project weeks later so you tell me why they would have a company who did such a “horrible job”, “worst work they had ever seen” come back two weeks later and install the remainder of the flooring? Doesn’t add up. They must really be in need of the $2100 that they to this day refuse to pay. BYER BEWARE!!

I would highly recommend Vertex Flooring for all your home repair needs. I have done two large remodels with them and they are extremely professional and detailed oriented. We were so happy with their work that we will use them again. The quality of the products, the knowledge of design and the exceptional workmanship make this our go to place for any home project. Most of all they are honest and listen to what you what within the budget you want to stay in. I have worked with other companies over the years and Vertex Flooring and Design is stands out among the rest. Beyond that there are no pressure sales here. They want you to be happy!

Better quality and cheaper prices than Home Depot!! We got a bid from Home Depot to install carpet and this place came in cheaper. Plus the customer service weve received blows any other retailer out of the water. Tammy has been excellent to work with. Great ideas, great advice. Customer for life!

I did a bathroom remodel and Linda did a great job helping me with colors, suggestions and let me take several samples home... I had looked in Fort Collins, Co for a more local store for my kitchen remodel 4 months later but couldnt beat Lindas professionalism, her eye for design, availability and her prices. I will not go anywhere else. I will refer friends, contractors and acquaintances to her and her staff. I will pay more for good service... but luckily I received great service and great prices!!!

I was hesitant to go in to their store because I was afraid it would be too expensive but after having a terrible experience with someone else I had to at least talk to them. I was pleasantly surprised. Not only were they reasonably priced but they helped me find exactly what I wanted and made some excellent suggestions. Their installer was the best. I would recommend them to everyone!

Tammy did an excellent job of helping me coordinate my countertops and backsplash. This is my second kitchen project working with her. Prices are competitive. No high pressure. Positive experience.

I would rather pay twice as much using someone else, than to have to deal with that kind of terrible customer service again. Measurements for blinds were taken by Vertex, but when they arrived, they were the wrong size for the largest window in the great room - TWICE- Off by 22 inches. Same person who measured blamed the manufacturer, but then the second time they arrived and they were the wrong size again, off by the same 22 inches. She didnt bother to check the size before sending them off with the installer the second time either -wasting my time, and his. The biggest issue I have though is the customer service. I shouldnt have to keep asking about my blinds when Ive already paid half down in good faith. I only dealt with one person (same one who did the measurements), so its not as though there was a drop in communication among staff. I was told they would come in before Christmas. I said, no rush, but just need to know delivery and install date. I never heard back, and then I had to ask her again, and again. Then I was told via voice message oh, around the 27th or 28th. I call back (or sometimes text because Im told thats better for her) I said thats fine I just need a date and time, then she said the 29th. I said Ok, but I need a delivery time. (I, of course, would need it on my schedule so that I dont have a schedule conflict). Finally after me asking again Im told well its going to be the Jan 3rd. By this point Im wondering why I cant get straight answer. Finally, blinds arrive on the 3rd - one is wrong, one is broken, one is missing the valance. To get the 2nd AND 3rd set of blinds, I had to go through the same process, I had to keep calling her, and often her voice mail was full, or I was always given an excuse - Im doing my nails, Im skiing, Im not at the office, this all during business hours, its not like I bothered her on the weekend or evening but Ill get it done shed say. But, still no straight answer about when I can expect them in. Im a reasonable and forgiving person, and I understand estimating at first, but I shouldnt be the one to keep calling/texting her. I understand free time, and the installer on vacation - good for them. But when you get back to the office FOLLOW UP WITH YOUR CLIENTS!! Good customer service would be someone reaching out to me, with Im sorry or we just dont know, but Ill call you Monday to let you know and then actually call! Also, I asked her about replacements for my old house and never got a response but not only is it too late now, but I wouldnt use Vertex. If I never called and texted her to keep asking, I wonder if I would still not have the correct blinds. So finally after getting everything installed, I send a partial payment right away, and ALL OF A SUDDEN she is able to call ME several times every day because I didnt send them a full payment! Wow! SO WHEN I NEEDED BLINDS, I HAD TO HUNT HER DOWN OVER AND OVER TO GET A RESPONSE AND I HAD TO BE THE ONE TO KEEP HER ON TASK, BUT ALL OF A SUDDEN WHEN SHE DOESNT RECEIVE FULL PAYMENT, SUDDENLY SHE HAS ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD TO CALL ME? SOMETIMES TWICE IN A ROW AS THOUGH ITS MORE IMPORTANT THAN WHAT IM BUSY DOING AND SEVERAL TIMES A DAY? I called back right away left a voice message stating that I was reasonable with them and they should be reasonable with me sending 2 separate checks within a short period of time. She called and called again and again. When I called back again, she said she did not get my voice message. I dont believe it. I sent 1st payment a couple days after invoice, and paid the balance within 2 weeks of invoice. They didnt deserve a timely and full payment, but I paid. But I will never send my clients to Vertex and I will never use Vertex again. Also, Vertex blinds are NOT warranteed. Id go with Budget Blinds, they offer a warrantee. Dont buy routeless blinds, theyre only notched on one side (or maybe vertex ordered the cheap ones, I dont really know) but just from opening and closing they fall off of the strings.
