We went to the store to get a copy of a key made. Waited around for about 45 minutes until we were told that something was not right. Went out to the car and now the original key does not work. Store showed no remorse in messing up our original key still didnt get the copy, and was left in the parking lot with a vehicle that was undrivable. Had to tow the car to Toyota and have them diagnose what happened. Toyota said there was debris left on the copy of the key that got in to the lock. so now after price of over $600 for the key, the diagnostic, the cost of the tow and having no vehicle for 4 days, Ace doesnt care that this was their error. Emailed them all of this on Saturday when it happened on the corporate website still have not received a response. And looking at these reviews looks like the only reply to the good reviews? All we did was going to make a copy of a key and its cost us this much because they didnt clean off the copy with a steel brush
Great store. Great staff. Quaint and nice.
Helpful staff.Didnt have what I needed though. They carry EGO Power tools but not the complete line.
Went in with my own OEM key blanks that I purchased online, and they did the labor to cut my keys for me. Was a bit nervous since I didnt want to lose either blank, if they were cut wrong. Both keys worked on my vehicle doors and ignition. Only paid $1 for labor costs for each key. Great job! Oh, and the man behind the counter asked me why I ordered the blanks online? He had several blanks for my vehicle in stock. I said Id been there to have them make me two keys, weeks before, but they were out of them, at the time. Good to know they have more, if I need them.
Theyve got more than most of the ACEs Ive been in. I cnt remember what it was now, however, they had something that nobody else did (NOBODY) except Amazon. Theyre fairly friendly and also let you do your shopping/browsing peacefully. I think theyre prices are pretty reasonable for an ACE as well. Ill most likely continue to go here for a long time.
Outstanding, knowledgeable, and very friendly staff. The store is very clean, well stocked, and they have a wide selection of merchandise. I would definitely recommend this store in Greeley, Colorado.
Clean but the help was not real knowledgeable when asked questions about certain products. Very pleasant employees however
Nice people and they know their business
Clean. Lots of stuff. Helpful friendly staff. Not too busy.
Ace hardware is the best! Ace has everything I need and then some. The staff always greets you in a friendly manner and always asking if you if they can help you find something. I like feeling acknowledged when I walk into a store and that is how Ace hardware rolls! Thank you!
A great small hardware store. Clean and easy to locate assistance and checking out was fast and efficient. I ordered an item from home, paid for it online and picked it up at the front counter. I try to buy from them rather than using the much larger and crowded Lowes or Home Depot.
Everytime I go to this place Im rewarded with helpful smiles and I leave with greater confidence in accomplishing the project Im working on.
Went in for a few random things and the gentleman was very helpful. I think he may have been the manager, but his cashiers were very polite as well.
Best customer service of any hardware store!
They have everything you will need for sure, well stocked, very knowledgeable staff.
The staff at ACE hardware are very friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable. Chris helped us with our paint needs and our daughters house looks amazing! Thanks, Chris!
Good help finding the part that I was looking for
This is a really nice Ace. It’s not as crowded as some I’ve been to and everyone is very helpful. I will probably come here for all my basics instead of going to one of the bigger stores.
Only used the bathroom here but it was nice from what I seen
The owners are great people. Great store for fix your self and they have the one offs that the big box stores dont have. Great customer service. Thanks.
Had a really great shopping experience while picking up some materials to fix a door handle. Everyone I spoke to was really helpful.
Bought paint and is always they knew exactly how to help us
Always helpful!
Almost always has what I need! Very helpful staff also!
Didnt have the greatest experience trying to get a key cut and programmed at this location. Told one moment they could do it and then they turn around the next day and say they cant do them. Even when internal parts for the keys were ordered and purchased there. They dont know how to cut out a flip fob. Like its some sort of new tech. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere for your key cutting needs! Save yourself the mean headache
I like being able to go and know Ill find what Im looking for
Amazing job on the screen repairs.
I called ahead of time cause I saw something on the internet and no sooner as I got there I saw the item and purchased it. Good customer service too
Its a great place to stop if you have a quick home improvement project to take care of.
What a terrific local business! The staff are all so helpful and, for the most part very knowledgeable about the products and services.Highly recommend indeed!
I love them people there awesome awesome awesome
Needs to work in coustmer service
Always has a fix
Needed locks re-keyed. 4 locks done in 15 minutes. Professional, friendly and reasonably priced.
Not quite the brand standard that I grew up with. This location has what you need, just not the helpful associates that I grew up with. Certainly a victim of the gig economy, however the location across town is incredible and knowledgeable. If they dont have what you need theyll stop at nothing to put something together for you!
This is a typical Ace Hardware Store he probably find it in every town. What makes my Ace store exceptional is the customer service. Youre always greeted at the door and staff will always ask to help you find whatever it is youre looking for without being obnoxious.
If you go to the Ace Hardware on 10th St in Greeley you can get the best service from Brandon. Hes so helpful and kind. Hands down my favorite hardware store and the selection is fantastic. Renee Madrid
You can find just about everything you need
Always very helpful
Very friendly staff
Very freindly and helpful. I went in needing a specific doogie. They helped me find it quickly and without any difficulty. Much better service than the big box stores. Kudos.
Clean store. Super nice people.
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I came in clueless about a screw I needed for the door handle of my Jeep and they handled it perfectly. Doug (I believe was his name) and Mariana (the hardware queen :) )helped me out and made sure that it was the right piece before I drove away! Thank you so much!
Great place to pick up loose ends for projects
Usually have what I need. Good service.
After years of spending money here, they wouldnt exchange a small box of staples that I had a receipt for. When I offered to buy a new staple gun to fit my wrong size staples, they did not have a staple gun to fit their own staples.....this...this is why lowes😔😔😔
Fantastic for small projects
Very curtious and helpful!
Always good. 👍
Ace is a really helpful place. They are very courteous. Unfortunately, they dont stock any Wiremold products.
Great customer service!!
Employees are always pleasant and helpful, even more so than the commercials! If they dont happen to carry something you need, they refer you to the place that does, including the address!! Ace will always be my favorite helpful hardware place!
Ace used to be the place you find that retired pro that could tell you everything you needed to know and help gather parts for your repair. Unfortunately its overrun with teens and the twenty something still living in moms basement whom dont seem to realise they work in a hardware store. If you know exactly what you need this is your place however if youve got questions or need any help above paying for your purchase look look elsewhere.
Best service ever! Ace is my new go to place when I need not only a specific part but also when I need someone that knows what that part is! Both home depot/lowes are falling behind in educated help. It was so refreshing to walk into a hardware store with a part and have the sales associate know exactly what I needed AND where to find it! THANK YOU!!!
Every time I go in everyone is very helpful
Good little hardware shop with super helpful staff
Great place and always super helpful. But sometimes too helpful, especially when i know their bolt selection better than they do. Dont tell me you dont have a style of bolt when im literally picking it up. Other then that I always go to Ace.
Love my ACE store... I try to shop small local stores... Best Customer Service Ever!
Very friendly and helpful staff
They were awesome. So helpful.
Thank you Rick & Chris for the awesome help and service you guys provide every day. I will continue to shop at the Greeley ACE Hardware for ever and ever. ....
Prices seem high; service is good. Also was forced to endure offensive political TV while waiting. Most stores know better than to piss people off while taking their money. Not sure Ill go back.
Friendly staff at this location and manager, Brandon was very courteous and helpfull. I will likely be back for a Traeger this week which they have a great deal on with extras included.
They have everything you need. I alway go here first. I a need parts or a tool. Just have all parts that Lowes or Home Depot do not.
Good place for home repair. Great staff, they are always willing to help.
9th & 18th ave ace. new management. I love the the small. Neighborhood mom & pops I always liked shopping local and keeping the money in the hood
Locally owned ACE! Super friendly and helpful staff. Great selection of single item nuts, bolts, etc.
The management was extremely helpful and caring about what I needed for a specific non profit project and gave me a discount as well as honoring a manufacturers coupon!
Top place for ones hardware needs. The staff are all quite knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with.
Love the small store local feel. Always helpful friendly employees.
Always a great place to shop.
Sad they had to lock up some isle because of thieves. Its a pain shopping with store personel at your side
Good hardware and l lik ta of things you dont have to the big box stores to get. People are knowledgeable and friendly
Purchased a new grill and the folks were very helpful and and full of knowledge.
I really like this store, the people there are very friendly and helpful its clean and a great place to shop.
Excellent service and they had what I needed. Prices are higher than home Depot or Lowes but if you need advice, this is the place to go.
Worst service ever, Was not greeted, I waited 10 min for Sharron to fumble her way around a man returning 2 items. once it was my turn she then went to an old receipt, that did not belong to the previous man, with a coupon attached and called a manager about a question she had about it. once she got to me she did not apologize for the time it took. rung my item up twice and did not catch it. I did. I should have just stolen the tape, but I cant bring myself to be dishonest like that. Train your employees please.
The associate that helped us was very knowledgeable and helped us find a solution to a plumbing problem.
Great place. Close to home. Friendly people.
Ricks awsome the staff is great and always helpful
BEWARE of racist employees!! I emailed the owners twice, in Jan and march 2019, about my experience and they have ignored my emails so I am posting my original email. I am still shocked that they never responded to my emails.I hope this message is finding the correct person. Im trying to reach the owner of the Greeley Ace Hardware at 3540 w. 10th st right next to the UPS store.I came in to your store Friday (Jan 4, 2019) afternoon to get a match to a screw/bolt that I had. I walked in the store and dont know enough about types of screws to find a correct match. I patiently waited for a store employee to finish with a customer and ended up getting into some small talk with that customer and employee over my shirt I was wearing from a race that I had run. While I was in a hurry, I dont mind talking with others. After the customer said he had to leave, that customer said goodbye to the store rep and she turned to me. I said I needed 4 screws and 4 bolts to match the one I brought in and we started walking over to the screw aisle.Piggy backing off the short conversation the 3 of us had about running we continued to talk. She pulled what she thought was the correct screw out of one of the bins and I attempted to fit the nut to that screw but it was the incorrect size. She then told me that this is her department but with all the screw, bolts, and nuts, that sometimes things are misplaced. She tries to keep it organized but it doesnt always work. The small talk continues as she is attempting to find the matching ones. She tells me that she has a managers vest but not manager responsiblities but that she had been working at the store for several years. Then she starts into a story about how when she was a kid, she had to dig holes with her father. Sometime the holes would be over 6 foot deep and due to this you couldnt just shovel the dirt out, rather the dirt had to be put in a bucket and the bucket would be unloaded out of the hole. She tells me that her father used to have a guy that worked for him and he would be in the hole and shovel the dirt into the bucket, kind of like a N*****r in a hole. Then trying to relate back to her manager vest with no manager responsiblities, she tells me how its like being a N****r in a hole.It was at this moment that I was utterly shocked. I didnt know exactly how to respond to this statement but was thoroughly taken aback!!! I was in a hurry and just wanted to leave the story. This is not a term that I use in my personal vocabulary and also know the derogatory history of the term. I also would never use this term with any customers during any job Ive ever had. She continued with her story and kept looking for affirmation of my ability to relate. While all I could focus on was her saying it again. In all I remember her saying it 3 times and didnt relate one bit to what she was saying. At some point I looked at her name tag, not really sure how to process what was being said, but knowing information and details is key. Her name was Marianne(spelling?). I had considered looking for RV anti-freeze as I need 5-10 gallons as I walked in the store but instead decided to wrap things up, leave, and get out of there as fast as I could.I didnt know exactly how to proceed with this but after speaking with a friend of mine, she mentioned that many Ace Hardware stores are locally owned. I called and was given your email. I know the exact time of this event occurring Friday, because as I said I was in a hurry to leave because I had something to do at 1pm. I walked out of the store and looked at my phone and it was 12:25. You also probably have security footage to see my interaction with this employee.Maybe I should have said something immediately, but the shock coupled with being in a hurry didnt afford me the time to say something in the moment. Im not sure I would ever frequent any of the Ace Hardware stores in greeley, knowing that they are connected, if this type of discussion is considered acceptable. Im not sure if she thought I would relate because Im white, but...
They have a whole lot of hardware and home repair and knowledgeable people to help you!
Fun place to shop, many various things on display.
Good place to get what you need, staff is helpful.
Customer service is outstanding! If you have a Traeger they have a very good selection of accessories, rubs, barbeque sauces.
They had what I need it was good
Very helpful and gave options on the 1 small piece needed.
I was replacing a blown speaker in a 2008 Sienna. Replacement speakers from your average store do NOT fit...so, naturally it was diy time.Since Im on vacation I had minimal tools and zero hardware...which is where Ace comes in. Had exactly what I needed and after some serious adaption...the deed was done.
As always Ace is the friendly place and so knowledgeable
Nice place to shop people are very friendly and helpful
The only place I can go to get keys made that actually work.
They have nice and a very helpful staff.
I dealt with Rick the owner of the store on 11th Avenue and the one on 10th Street and a couple of the employees awesome people
Had great assistance with picking out :/ mixing paint to match my outdoor siding . friendly service and went out of her way to help me find other items on the store
Such a racist store!! 😡Always following only us Hispanics around the store, but never have I ever seen them follow white people around. Oh! and all the staff are only white. Id suggest taking the longer drive to home depot or Lowes if your Hispanic and dont want to feel like a criminal in a store! Ace hardwear 10st and 35ave you guys are very UN professional!!
Great hardware lots of cool stuff and friendly people.
Friendly employees. Good customer service. Clean store.
Nice store in a convenient location but employees were absolutely zero help in my search for chalk paint. (they didnt even know what it is) Do yourself a favor and make the short drive to Poulsons Ace Hardware in Eaton for real customer service.
ACE on W 10th had the items i needed to fix a tricycle, assistant was very, very nice and helpful
Couldnt get what I needed due to lack of employees/theft deterrents on aisles. Asked a female to help she was too busy counting mountain dew in the front of the store to do anything but call for help which never came. Just go to home Depot.
