They have a lot of cool stuff. Young guys that work there are really nice, helpful, and very welcoming. Older guys...a little less. Nice to have a local shop that has parts when youre in a jam. Even nicer when the staff are a little more pleasant.

Knowledgeable guys, even if there are about twelve staff members in 200 square feet of store. It’s like a RadioShack for the terminally excited. You could walk in there half asleep and walk out with two new friends, a $150 RC car, and enough energy to power your car for three months.

Went in with a pretty good idea of what I wanted to buy, with that in mind as Im looking at the specific RC, the owner actually talked me into something a little better which was actually even a little cheaper then I originally had planned. Great experience here plenty of help and he even opened them up right in store so I could check them out for myself. Hooked me up with everything needed to have a blast with my new truck.

Like dealing with the management some of the kids I dont know about they seem to say they have certain things and when you show up they sell you the wrong things however they are learning and I always go to that place I like it there

Horrible experience! Ordered some parts online then paid through PayPal. A day later my order was cancelled but five days later and still have not been refunded. Ive tried calling and messaging them but have been hung up on and not replied to. I used to go into the store for parts but got sick of hearing that they dont have it in stock. I guess they dont want my business anymore.

Lots a fun toys to build or buy from the young kid to the adult only thing I didnt like is just a little pricey but they have lots of specialty items hard-to-find items

OMG we loved this place. Wish we had one closer to home! Had the parts we needed in stock & cheaper then we found on line. Friendly workers & great customer service & knowledge about the products that they had in store.

Terrible experience, My son bought a truck that the motor blew up on. Called the store explained what happened said to come in they would replace it. Got to the store and they renigged said that they cant do anything he would have to go threw the manufacturer. Also had bought batteries that the owner himself said where what he needed. Got them home and they only hold a 6 minute charge! 150$ for junk batteries and they will not return or exchange them! Worst customer service and dont back their products! Would never recommend them to anyone Update/response i did not swear or talk to your staff you should get your facts straight. Yes my son did and i dont agree with that. But i also think you should be a man and proper store owner and stand behind your products and not screw your customers out of their hard earned money.

Was kicked out because I am unable to wear masks for medical reasons too which I am being treated. So went home and spent $2276 on line from another place and the items will be here with in a week. The items were cheaper anyway. People want you to shop local to help stimulate the economy and help out the smaller shops but the store kicks you out. Not the best business move. This was the one in Green Bay.

Getting recently into the RC cars with my kids and the guys here know the details and provided great recommendations. I appreciated the honesty in not trying to upsell either because I didn’t know all the details, they said what would be good to start and then to Upgrade as we progressed. This is a solid way to do business and they will continue to get my business based on that trust. Nice rewards program that has already benefited us too.

Good selection of everything RC with knowledgeable staff. I only wish they had a off road short course track for 2 and 4 wheel drive vehicles. And that is not a complaint. The staff always ask if you need help and can quickly address any questions you may have. Great place for all your hobby needs

Wish they did services on rc here. Grew up in TX and there locations afford it.

Return policy was not explained to us before a purchase was made.Purchase was in hundreds. In store credit only. SighSales Clerk never asked or explained that our purchase required additional items to make our purchase operable.Box our purchase was in was vague, misleading as well.After reading box (several times)we saw in very fine print additional purchases required. Sigh.When we returned to the store with in an hour. The Sales Clerk that checked us out handed us off to another sales clerk which showed us the additional items we needed to purchase to make our RC operable.No one offered any assistance or seemed to care when we explained we didnt know an additional purchases ( about 200$ more) needed to be made. When we explained that it took our child over 6 months to save the $ to purchase the one item that we had purchased.Meanwhile we have a very disappointed individual with a box containing an RC that is inoperable for at least another 6 months while they work and save to make additional purchases. CONSUMER BEWARE Read the fine print on the box . Familiarize yourself with store return policy. Understand your hobby ask questions. Was a good lesson to learn.

Only place in town keeping the hobby alive! Only needed change is to stock 1 gallon nitro fuel and I’d be giving 5 stars. I purchase all my models here even if they may be a bit more expensive at times. That’s how to keep places like these around to enjoy. Had a change of mind on a charger I purchased and they swapped it, no questions asked. Thank you guys.

This store is absolutely amazing! They have everything from electric trainsets to remote control airplanes. The moment you walk inside the store you will feel like a kid again. Only getting a four because of the lack of models... but I guess that’s a sign of the times. That aside, I bought a R/C helicopter and when I got it home it didn’t work. Brought it back and after a little fiddling it was back up and flying. Great customer service. Thanks!

Decent prices and store location. Good product selection. I typically go there for RC parts and the occasional plane or car. The big draw for me is the face to face expertise they have on that subject. Last week brought in a Traxxas Slash with issues. Was steered right to the cure and saved myself a lot of trouble. Ho scale train selection stunk Had only about 20 cars. Cheap ones. People working just stood around & talked. No one came over to see if we needed help. I walked out bought nothing. Will never go back!!!!!!!!!!

The new ownership has made a difference. I hadnt been there in a couple of years because their lack of inventory. New owners seem to be taking an intelligent look at the local market and filling the gaps with their improved selection.

Good shop for RC trucks, they have a full line of traxxas trucks and parts. Wish they had more Blade Helicopters, but they have a good selection of quads (drones). Been buying from Tom for probably 20 years or more. Sometimes the guys are a little shy and hide behind the counter, but are very helpful when asked questions.

Prices are reasonable and the selection is getting better all the time.

Its a nice and lovely place with helpful employees that try to build communities over various hobbies such as having Gundam nights.

Update 3/17/2018:New owners took over as of 3/1/2018. Very friendly couple and staff. BATHROOM NOW WORKS :) They saved a part for 3 days for me until we made the trip to GB. Adjusted rating to 5 stars. Looking forward to visiting again soon!Previous review:We live quite a long way from here so we always call before we make the trip. Half the time I call, I get a very nice, helpful, older sounding man. The other half of the time I call I get a younger sounding man who seems very rude and short with me. Or possibly just writes me off as I dont know anything about RCs because Im a woman.I called today asking about a specific RC part. The younger sounding man said, Yea we have a lot of those. And was going to hang up on me. I then proceeded to ask about brands they carry and if they have a specific one. The young man sounded very annoyed. I simply explained we would be driving a long ways and I wanted to make sure they have what we need.Oh and PS..... Their restroom has been broke for over a year and a half and you have to walk to a different store to pee.... Kind of ridiculous if you ask me....Only getting rated a 3 because of the (most of the time) helpful and knowledgeable staff. They almost always have what we need.

One of the only places in the area that carries 3D printer filament and accessories. I would love to see that area expand a little, but definitely by far has the most hobby parts out of any local stores Ive been to. PLA filament costs are at/near the cost of filament on Amazon, so I will now be using Hobbytown as my PLA vendor. I would love to see them get SLA/DLP resin for printers like the AnyCubic Photon.Overall friendly staff, knowledgeable employees, and pretty good selection of hobby parts for the average person.

Ive purchased models here that were problematic and KNOWINGLY sold/resold. I bought a truck that was missing parts and in poor condition. Upon further inspection, I determined that the item was returned and repackaged with the SAME ISSUES. They hassle you about returning EVERYTHING, including item(s) that were repackaged or clearly problematic. If something has an issue, Im told that, its supposed to work like that. They very sneakily use their own clear tape to mimick a factory seal. You really need to be careful what you buy from this hobby town. The owner is extremely friendly, however, his employees are fairly rude. I will not be shopping here anymore due to the issues Ive had with their products and also due to the way Ive been treated by the employees. Ive shopped here for many many years, but will be shopping elsewhere for my RC needs.

My used RC Boat needed a new motor - but Shan did the full testing and discovered a more serious issue -- which he then resolved at a most reasonable price - the same day -- keeping me updated -- its like I have a brand-new high-tech boat! Awsome - I have a 5yr old traxxas jato gtr 3.3...they have everything i needed and have everything ill ever need to fix my car...they have such a massive selection here and its very organized...also the staff is very helpful.if your into RC or model building this is the place to go to get what u need.

I bought a rc truck at hobby town usa in green bay i have had nothing but trouble with it since the second week I had it hobby town dont want to fix it for me for free they just want there money and I can almost bet money they wont give me another truck even if I bring this one back I will not buy nothing from this place again

I bought a RC QuadCopter from them and one of Copters motor stopped working, it might have been my fault, I wasnt sure, I didnt think so, but it didnt matter he replaced it with a new Copter and I couldnt be more pleased, if I can buy my RC Copters from HobbyTown instead of buying online from China, which takes 10 to 20 days to receive I will no matter the cost!
