Updated Aug 2021: I almost retracted this previous review because they did contact me and told me it was no longer in collections at the end of April. BUT today we received another collection notice for something back in 2019 that we have had ZERO correspondence on. I really would like to bill them for my time in order to try to fix this because they cant get their billings straight.UPDATE 4/28/21 - Apria reached out after I had left the reviews and informed me that they notified the collection agency to drop the collection notice. I have not received confirmation of this from the collection agency yet, but will be watching for it. I appreciate their response.April 2021 - I would leave a zero if I could. Apria Healthcare has one of the worst customer service departments in relation to billing that Ive ever dealt with. We have been trying to get the billing straight for my husbands CPAP machine for almost a year and a half now. Our insurance TPA has spent hours on the phone with them and its like the people there do not talk to each other. We have even tried calling the local Green Bay office and tried to get ahold of the manager, Dave Blohm, and got no response from voicemails that were left. We just received a collections notice on a balance that they turned over to collections from a statement that we never even received in the mail. At this point, I feel like I have no choice but to pay it because our credit it going to get hit. I would fight it, but from experience with this company, I have no faith that it will get resolved in a timely manner. Unbelievably HORRIBLE company and will not be working with them on CPAP supplies or machines in the future.
Have had to deal with these guys for a 3rd time and it is a nightmare every time. Go somewhere else if you have the opportunity. Apria sucks
