A few years ago, my car broke down outside Greenfield while travelling cross country. The tow driver recommended Family Auto Repair, and Im glad he did. The folks here went right to work on repairing my car and were friendly and inviting. For someone 1000 miles from home with no other alternatives, they really went out of their way to repair my car and get me on my way the same day. Ill always be grateful for the folks at Family Auto. Ive never had a better experience with a mechanic! Cannot recommend enough!

Im extremely satisfied with the work I had done by Dean at Family Auto Repair. We are a single vehicle family and Dean was able to get our alternator and serpentine belt replaced the same day we took it in. Did I mention that Family Auto gives back to the community by serving the homeless and families in need? Great Family!!

Ive never met a mechanic that will actually sit down and explain every detail even if he doesnt know the problem for sure like a friend. You dont find these very often... He will throw ideas and experience rather than money at your vehicle before charging you. You cant find a better quality in a person or mechanic than that. If you go here expect honesty, these are great people. - First time customer, very impressed.

My fiance had her brakes fail and we took the car to another shop (Monro Muffler & Break Service) having to leave it overnight. Only to find out that the repair was going to cost nearly $400. We went to family auto repair for a second opinion. After inspecting the car they gave us a price of around a $130 and had the car fixed with just a couple hours. Cant say enough good about Family Auto Repair. There are some honest people left!

Dean Couch misdiagnosed my hvac problem on my car, ordered a $300 control module part from a dealership, and when that ended up not being the issue he fixed the correct part and insisted my old control module was also part of the problem. Well, I demanded my old part back and we took it home and tested it and it works. His story didn’t line up and my suspicions were true- he couldn’t return the special ordered product, so he lied to me to get me to pay for it. He was extremely rude to me when I went back in to try to return the new part and not only lied to me about how things played out, but also basically said it he couldn’t return it, and my hvac issue is resolved and shrugged his shoulders. I used to go to church with these people and supported their homeless ministry. I am so disappointed. What should have been a $186 repair ended up being a $561 repair.
