Becks ruined my car. I brought it in for a loose exhaust pipe and they accidentally cut the transmission line while under there.. They fixed it by putting a hand made, faulty transmission line in my car which I didnt realize until my transmission blew out on the highway the next morning. I gave them a chance to fix their mistake by replacing it with the correct Nissan part, they even made me wait an extra day for the part to come in from the dealer. Month or so later, transmission failed again, Nissan dealer discovered that they replaced the hand made part, with another hand made part!!! The part was obviously not working and it destroyed my transmission TWICE. I have under 58k miles on my car and they ruined it. Worst part is I never even had transmission problems before taking it in to them, they accidentally busted the line while working on it, and instead of fixing it the right way they just ruined my car.

I went to Becks e few times for service. Recently i went to change transmission fluid, and it was never replaced and the owner said he did, the transmission oil was black-as if never changed, now my transmission is broken i have to change it, it costs a lot of money, and this is not all, a part was suppose to be put on my car and they never did and i payed a lot of money. This is very bad, people dont go there, they will brake your car. They should not be working, very shady people. The place should be shut down. Will tell everybody how horrible they are.

We brought my wifes car in for a 100k mile service. Becks took great care of everything needed at a fair & reasonable price. Ill be taking my car in soon, and both cars from now on.

Good service, reasonably priced, and honest. Didnt try to push unnecessary services, which I appreciated. The only down side of my experience is that noone was wearing a mask, which made me uncomfortable and struck me as irresponsible in the middle of the pandemic.

Battery light came on in my Rav4 and I had to drive to NYC the next day. I called at 3pm. They took the car in at 3:15pm and were done in barely an hour. Mice had chewed through the wires into the alternator. They soldered them back and had me on my way.Helpful, fast, forthright, and reasonably priced. Cant ask for anything better.

Been bringing my car here throughout the years and they’ve always been honest and done good work. They are a great neighborhood mechanic. If you’re new to the area, or looking go make a switch they are a great option. They often make time for my car on short notice and their prices are reasonable. They’re not the cheapest mechanic around but they’ve always done a consistently good job on my car. From oil changes, to brakes, I’ve had a decent amount of service done here, as have some of my friends and there have never been any complaints.I trust these guys and recommend them without hesitation.

This location saved me after severe engine trouble! All of the people here are incredibly friendly and worked hard to put me first as a person in need of aid, rather then a paycheck waiting to happen. They were honest with me and gave me options to ensure that I got home, a two hour drive safely. I would recommend this team to anyone for any car troubles major or minor!

Good service, Honest people which is hard to find now a days in the automotive industry they REALLY helped me out in a pinch as my left rear wheel cylinder blew out inside my drum, on my rear brakes I cannot express my gratitude enough for these guys.

I am not from Massachusetts but I was looking to buy a used car I found on Craigslist in Greenfield. Before buying the car I wanted to have a mechanic check it over, but not being from the area, I didn’t know where to take it. After a quick Google search I decided to try Beck’s Automotive and was not disappointed! Everyone was very friendly and accommodating and their rates were very reasonable. Bob pressure tested the engine and put the car up on the lift and found that it needed a new head gasket among other things. Beck’s saved me from $3000 of surprise repair costs and they only charged me for the half hour it took to look over the car. If I ever try to buy a car in Greenfield again I will be taking it to Beck’s first!
