It is obvious they love what they do, they love furniture, and they are exceptional at restoration. Quite simply they work magic. I sent out pieces that had spent the majority of their lives by a coal fireplace and were black from the soot.Ted brought them back to the original light warm beauties that they were originally and told me about their early 19th century history...we had no idea! We thought these were just family pieces we had to live with, now they are our centerpieces. Just gorgeous work.

Excellent workmanship. Restored & refinished several very old family pieces after my Father passed away. Really brought them back to life by researching what they looked like in their original state and restored them with precision.In addition to great workmanship, they were a pleasure to work with. Ted Keaton has both repaired and refinished furniture for me. He repaired an antique headboard that broke across the middle, two chairs that fell off a truck and were badly damaged and the arm of a chair with a piece broken. He has refinished two chairs. The work is top quality. He takes the furniture apart to make the repairs and when the piece is put back together it is a much stronger piece of furniture. I highly recommend Ted Keaton for repairs and the refinishing of fine antique furniture.
