Cool consignment shop with an ever rotating selection of furniture. Prices vary wildly and it is possible to get some insanely good deals. I picked up this leather sleeper sofa for $800. Great quality!

Consigners be aware:We sold an item with Red Collection. After checking on it once (it had not sold), we forgot to check again. We were told that per their contract (I have not verified the language in the contract), after six months the check is expired, and our money is forfit. The manager said that these terms are all explained to the customer when they sign up. This may be true, but that was years and years ago, and we dont have any memory of this.When I asked if the money could be applied to a future purchase, I was told no.This may be in the contract, but it is not a way to have happy customers.

Always an exciting place to shop! You never know what youll find and the stores change almost weekly. Ive also enjoyed success when consigning things there. Theyre one of the most professional consignment businesses left.

Theres often a good buy in this place. Its also worth visiting at least twice a month. The volume of sales there creates a rapid turnover of inventory. So theres always something new to see.

We placed our first item on consignment with RED; a dining room table and chairs, which had to be moved due to covid. The item sold in August. We checked on the sale several times last year but did not call after it was sold in August. They apparently have a rule that they keep your money if you do not pick up the check within 6 months of the sale. We visited them this week to find out that they will not pay us for the sale of our table because we came by in MAY instead of FEB. Surely there is no legal allowable assumption of my property for less than 1 year? THIS COMPANY STEALS FROM ITS CUSTOMERS WHICH I WOULD HAVE KNOWN HAD I READ THE REVIEWS. READ REVIEWS AND AVOID!

Horrible experience. Ive sold lots here over the years. My last experience was frankly a horrible experience. One of the sales associates called me a liar to two separate people, one being there manager when addressing my issue. It was quite disturbing. If I hadnt been so shocked with how they handled my issue and misinformation I was given previously, I would have shown them on my phone proof of my previous call which the one woman said repeatedly that I did not call before.They could have easily been nice to me and said so sorry or we understand your situation but instead they were ugly, verbally bullied me by calling me a liar andI will NEVER EVER return to Red Collection again. What a scarring experience!!!!!!

Great place to buy furniture. Prices seemed a little higher last week. Guess its due to covid and maybe a financial loss. Kept dodging decorators and their customers which had never happened before. Wish they had a cheap delivery service be as they always have things I would love to purchase.

After the passing of my mom 18 months ago we brought into Red collection a couch my mom had. I checked back with Red Collection a couple of times to see if it was sold. It had not. After I few months ago I forgot about the couch. At a recent visit I thought I would check again and was told it was sold and would give me the proceeds. I asked why they had not notified me and they told me they do not make the calls so I am out the sale of the couch. To me it was a scam!! Why would they even ask for a phone number if they don’t call you if something is sold. I will think twice about dropping off something to be sold much less patronize this outfit BEWARE

I enjoyed coming here, there was so many wonderful things, it wasn’t so pricey and we was there looking for things to have in our house. Me and my boyfriend is excited and will be coming back to pick a few things to decorate our first home together with!

Vast warehouse at both locations. Style varies from a few contemporary items to lots of Antique items from furnishings to home decor items. There’s also a small selection of jewelry. There is also a varied price range for items depending upon quality of course. The staff is very knowledgeable and non-intrusive. Be prepared to spend some time at either location because there is so much to see and buy.

Found a ceramic umbrella stand here (apparently this is hard to find per my search) that was practically new and well priced.Ladies at front desk were helpful and directed me to what they had in stock. Quick in and out.Worth a look for hard to find items.

They have so much there to offer in home furnishings. The prices are very good and it was a pleasure just to explore all the different things. I made a purchase of a picture at a very good price.

Mostly furniture and very reasonably priced. Not bogged down with loads of stuff like some other antique stores. Theyve even got a system where the prices drop if its been in the store after a few months.

I absolutely adore this place and their location on Mill Street too. I cannot tell you how many pieces Ive purchased here over the years. Suffice to say Im a big reason they thrive. Ha! Seriously, I do enjoy coming here and even when I dont leave with anything. Just fun to browse.

Best variety of previously owned furniture, accessories, china, art, silver, etc. You never know what you will discover. Both locations carry different items. I have bought and sold items here with nothing but positive experiences. Some times I come and see nothing that I am looking for. Other times I come and I hit the jackpot for multiple items. The stock turns over regularly. The 2 stores are within about 10 miles, so you can go to both easily in the same day.

This is another very great place to visit. Its like going into Grandmas Attic... its all clean and arranged and vignettes very nicely. I recently bought a dresser in there that I just love. They deliver and will hold it for you for I forget I dont know it seems like 30 days...

Not your typical antique store. Don’t be intimidated, there is something for everyone here. Their sliding price scale on unsold or clearance items can save you a small fortune decorating your home.

Always love browsing. Never know what treasure youll find. Shopped on Saturday, March 24. Bought a desk. Loaders were very helpful and extremely personable. Rest of staff was a bit standoffish. Oh well. But overall a nice shopping experience.

Red Collection (both locations) have some unique items at varying price points. You can find inexpensive pieces to high quality expensive pieces. Depending on your taste and budget, you are likely going to find something you want to take home.

We came in last Friday. TERRIBLE customer service! They shut the lights off on us. After buying a cozy house on Smith Mt Lake in VA., after our hard work of owning our own family business. My sister & I are in search of beautiful rustic pieces, we decided to take the long trip out to our once favorite vintage store. Horrible traffic & the GPS taking us to the wrong location, we arrived just as they were closing. We walked in & no one greeted us just stared at us, so we continued & we overheard them talking, “Hello isn’t someone going to tell them we’re closed?....EXCUSE ME we’re closed” We quickly backtracked to the front desk & My sister asked if we could just have 10 minutes of their time to quickly look since we knew what we’re already looking for & explained how we went to the wrong location & that we were from out of town. The ladies said no we are closing. One of them turned to another, should I go ahead and run the report on the registers now? Luckily, one lady did step forward, & asked what we were looking for and she led us into the right direction, but as soon as we were walking into the back area they SHUT the lights off on us. We were just so uncomfortable on how they were treating us, we thanked the lady & decided to leave. As we were walking out, the other ladies at the front desk were staring & giving us dirty looks, probably because we didn’t purchase anything. Yes! We fully understand you want to go home. But from one locally owned business to another, 10 minutes of your time is not going to hurt you & that’s not a way to treat a customer. I don’t support these types of places, & i wonder if your individual vendors in your shop know how you turn away & treat potential customers, such a shame. We went across the street to Shoppes of Patterson, where we were greeted with a warm “We’re happy to help!”, & we ended up finding exactly what we were looking for.

Over the years I have purchased fantastic and amazing pieces there, and when needed, they were really awesome at helping me sell several things no longer wanted. Incredible staff!! Superlative service.

You never know what treasures youll find here. And, prices are reasonable and a lot cheaper than retail. Bought a couch here for $300 and then found it online for over $1000. Couch did not have a single scratch, stain, or pick in the fabric.

Super stuff, sold by a super staff. Both locations are sensational. Dont miss it if youre looking for quality 2d hand furniture and carpets. We call it the Red Zone because it has a lot of action, a lot of turnovers.

Treated so respectfully and suggestions were for real, not just to raise price.. BEAUTIFUL BEDROOM SET.

Not so much of an antique store as opposed to a used and vintage furniture store. Very lacking in smalls and unique items. Basically just furniture and home decor.

I have purchased several unique pieces from the Red Collection at their locations and have always enjoyed the courteous, helpful, and professional customer service. They always take the time to show or direct me towards the area where I might find my nest jewel. I usually go there searching for a specific piece (oriental chair, etegere, folding screen, umbrella stand, etc. and will find it 95% of the time.

My home is practically furnished by red collection on mill street.. Love that place. Also consigned a lot and pleased with all the people there.

The Red Collection Holden Rd. location is best for pricing & accepting the things you bring for consignment. I’m giving 4 stars because of Neil & the other employees at that location. The Mill St. location has been disastrous for me. The woman who is supposed to take in your items & price them is rarely available and I’ve seen elderly people who have driven for miles turned away because she’s “on break”, “out” or otherwise unavailable, sometimes while still at the store. Oh, and yes, she will verbally tell you she’s not available when standing right there, in front of you, behind the counter. I had to go 3 times to Mill St. one day to finally get my stuff looked at and accepted - and I live here - which is ridiculous when they advertise no appointment is needed at any time on any day. Imagine the people who drive for miles to bring their stuff. Unacceptable. I’ll never go back to Mill St. because of that experience and it wasn’t the first time, but Neil on Holden Rd. and that staff are wonderful.
