This is my go to store. Exactly why? Im not too sure. The store workers are helpful in finding the product you need. They not only have braiding hair but they have crochet hair, pintails, weaves, wigs, hair products, and accessories.

Found a couple different oils that show promise from ingredients and claims but the proof is in the pudding (feel and effectiveness)... Prices werent as bad as I thought they might be so a win there... Definitely a variety of brands to choose from and some nice price points... Checkem out

Love this place, as well as the hair. The prices are reasonable, & Im a regular. I get most of my hair, lashes, & hair products there. The customer service is okay. However, theres a lady in the back, who helps you try on wigs, shes absolutely amazing, & very respectful. Would HIGHLY recommend this place. Definitely a one stop shop. I never leave out empty handed.

I am not sure what was going on today but my experience here was awful. I came today to get masks and gloves because in our huddle this morning we were informed that you could purchase them at Beauty World locations. The lady meet us at the door saying, you can not come in without a mask, and she was less than 5 feet with no mask on herself. No professionalism, rude and no the prices were not great. I have been to the one in High Point and Durham and they were not like this... Poor Customer service is not good while this is going on. We are fully aware of the social distancing this is why I am working from home, and you can be assured that this was my first trip here and my last one. I was on my lunch break trying to do the right thing. Living in fear is not the answer and close your shop if this is how you feel...we do not want to be exposed either but we have to purchase but there is Prime. I will not come here again. I will be sharing my experience with my Health Care team.

The employees appears to be annoyed that they had shoppers. Poor customer service. Not going back.

Good place

I came her to by a angle pendant. As I walk through the door I see millions of options and I walked out with four chains. The employee was nice enough to follow me around the store and grabbed everything that I wanted. It was like I was in no rush he was very patient and kind. I also love how they put their customers first, there was no wait either as soon as I was done I payed and left and they wished me a good day. I can’t wait to go back.

Great place to go when Im looking for items that are different then other Beauty Supply stores. Friendly customer service, well staffed and usually well stocked with everything you could need for your hair needs, braiding, wigs, weaves, colors, coloring, tints, earnings, Sunday gloves always a treat of some kind of new beautiful wig in. Always enjoy going here once a month or so.

They need to work on their customer service. I’m writing this review from the car because I’ve never been given so much attitude here before. The girl who was behind the hair counter had an attitude for no apparent reason. It’s not the customer’s fault that you hate your job. I’m not even asking for service with a smile. Just have some human decency when you’re interacting with your customers. I probably won’t be back. I wouldn’t have bought anything this trip if I didn’t absolutely need the closure that I bought.

My #1 Beauty supply store in Greensboro. I love the beautiful Lace Fronts they always have available.

5 STAR!! CUSTOMER SRV is great!! Very laid back and friendly!! HELPFUL AS WELL! They have a good selection of hair and plenty human hair to choose from. It can be pricey but very, very worth it and lasts for awhile. Also, this is the only store I know that sells Ebin Edge Control for only $2.00. Also, you obtain points if you get their store card and scan it during every purchase which led me to free plenty checkouts because my points was rocket sky high! 🙂 This is the only hair store I go to unless theyre closed and need something right away such as on a Sunday.

You will see when you go the rudeness and attitude I spend big money in beauty supply stores but not this one I came in to buy thing for a few clients that are elderly and asked for help why did I do that. Young girls with attitude work there only for the discount on hair. I wish I went across the street or down the street before coming here. Long story short I left everything there and didn’t buy nothing walk out. Sad place of business.

How sad this place has become. I went in today and couldnt even get help. The lady at the register sent me to the wrong aisle and the lady at the wig station seemed to be bothered that I asked her for help. I clearly said I need help finding an item and a color, she pointed in a direction and walked in the back and never came back to help. When I looked for her she was sitting at the wig station brushing a wig... No customer anywhere so I left. I forgot why I stopped shopping here and now I remember. #IMissJulie

The Greensboro location is much better than the others. That being said, it is smaller in size. Decent offerings, usually friendly staff.

There’s no reason why a Customer have to deal with nasty attitudes in your business especially the young lady that sits behind the counter were the hair is located she is not customer service oriented this doesn’t make your business look good especially when we spending money in your Store not helpful at all so why work somewhere when you don’t have the proper attitude no time for it you had better attitudes at ones now you bring bad attitudes iworking in your store Zero Tolerance you need to do better or maybe BETTER BUSINESS WOULD HELP YOU IN THAT FIELD .. TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS WITH RESPECT/ Kindness

Purchased a wig 3 days before my birthday and a lot of hair was missing from the front of the lace. so i took it back the next day no refund nor exchange

No one followed me around was able to shop in peace found everything that I needed.

Used to live this place when Julie was there. Now its a high priced home for ugly wigs made for clowns or kids. Some of us mature people just want a pretty long curly wig in #1 black.

They are ok... They have a large selection and they used to be my go to store for hair. I stopped going because they have some of the hair priced very high compared to other stores. There is a $10 increase for 2 inches of hair.One thing I dont like about this location is that someone is always begging outside. Its probably harmless but Im not comfortable with it.

Nice shop with decent selection & good prices. Organization & cleanliness is ok but could be improved a little. Worth the 20 min drive it takes me to get there. Hate the parking lot & all of the loitering though.

Been coming here since college. My go to beauty supply store in Greensboro.Prices are a little high compared to the Durham beauty world. How can you get discounts? Ive been a customer since 2009... I havent heard about discounts.

I am a frequent flyer to this establishment, they have a variety of high quality hair, haircare and personal needs. I absolutely love the atmosphere, its always clean, spacious and the owners are very polite and helpful.

They have a lot of options but if you dont know what you want you will be walking around lost. They only help if you hunt then down. There used to be a really helpful woman there but not now.I went last week the cashiers on the right were so busy having a conversation that couldnt even acknowledge me.

They are stepping up the variety of hair they carry. I was pleased with my last visit. The only thing I HATE SOOOOO MUCH is that there is always a solicitor out front. A pushy person always trying to sell something. Its enough to make me go to a different store bc I dont wanna be harassed just trying to go buy weave.

I like shopping @ Beauty World sometimes Its closer to home & if you need help looking for something the employees are very helpful too.

When I went to beauty world tgere power was out due to the storm but they had a generator and enough people in the store to basically find what you need. Compared to ALOT of other beauty stores they are pretty reasonable

They are very rude, and have conflicting prices marked higher on the same product and will not own up to their wrong. They do not speak to you and treat you like a unlike distant relative.

They generally have what Im looking for. Their selection of crochet hair is great for your everyday styles.

Ive been coming here for almost 4 years faithfully. I like the selection at this store and the Winston store. I did not like however how one of the cashiers treated me when I asked for refund for an item I did not use. I had always paid for products with my debit card and if did not like an item or didnt need it...which is rare they would refund me my money. This woman however tried to tell me that Ive never gotten a refund from them. When I asked the manager she explainedbin a very respectful and curtious manner that they do give refunds when you use your card but not with cash, thank you Jennie. As a grown woman thats been shopping here for years I didnt appreciate this lady telling me what I did and did not do. Im honestly debating if Ill be back in bc the store is on the opposite side of town and I can always order what I want online for a good deal without being insulted.I had no problem receiving the srore credit but treat me with some respect.

Added to the African white or yellow Shea butters, I made some great body butters for friends & family.For muscle aches and pains, the yellow Shea butter, fractionated coconut oil, Rosemary EO & Peppermint EO. Smells sooo good!For relaxing, the white Shea butter, fractionated coconut oil, Lavender EO & Sandalwood EO. The sandalwood EO is by doTerra & bought online.I also buy basic makeup here like eyeliner, lip liners, eyeshadow, foundation primer & setting sprays.
