Ive always managed to find what Im looking for. I enjoy the little theme each counter has, and my young daughter adores using the customer in training buggies.

Love this grocery store! Everyone is kind, friendly and helpful. Store is clean and well lit. Like all stores they are currently facing supply chain issues but they usually have everything we need.

James in the produce and floral department is THE man! I was in a rush to purchase some balloons & other items for an office birthday party. He helped me over the phone while I was on the way, then was ready and waiting when I got there knowing I was in a hurry. He also checked for other items throughout the store for me before I even arrived to save me time. During conversation I discovered he has been with Harris Teeter for a long time. He is very passionate about his job and it shows! He has excellent customer service skills and knowledge about the products & the store. James deserves a raise! Keep up the great work!

Our first thought was wonder - wow, this produce section, wow, the prepared foods! This is an amazing store!! As we worked our way towards the grocery section of the store, the wonder fizzled as we realized we were in a regular grocery store with some frills.Opening our chicken wrap and the burger from the grill case on the drive home the downward slope continued. Wrap: underfilled, burger: chalky. Banana muffins the next morning - sad and lacking. Final total for some staples and a mess of disappointing prepared foods - $80. Dont fall for the dazzle! Or at least dont shop hungry.

I go here because its really the only grocery store thats convenient for me. In general its a decent place to shop. Pricey obviously, but its to be expected. The part that gets on my last nerve here is the coffee bar. They have a coffee bar that is all things considered, pretty good! Cheap when you compare it with others too. However its such a problem just to get somebody to help you at the coffee bar. Ill often show up standing around waiting for somebody to help. I have gone up to the coffee bar probably 3 times in the last 30 days and didnt end up getting anything because no one ever showed up to help. The people that run the bar right next to it are no help either. They see me standing there. Nonetheless they pretend not to see me and hope I dont notice. From top to bottom, the service here is questionable.

I live local and love to shop here. It has a great variety and is usually well-stocked. The staff is friendly and they have a great selection of product overall.

Love this place! Super staff and money saving weekly specials. With the recent upfit and re-opening it’s a surprising and unique grocery concept. Fresh ground coffee, walk-in beer den, smoked meats, delicious fresh “cakery” note: cakes have tasty light frosting (not the ancient lard recipe made elsewhere). Plus fresh baked bread, wine bar, made to order Boar’s Head sandwiches and paninis, extra large salad bar, tomato bar, one of the best wine selections in any local grocery, (complete with available chiller), gorgeous fresh cut flowers, plants, and centerpieces, and much more! Love the community table that features samples and recipes. Notice the checkout lanes are local street road names. With regular contributions to the food bank/Urban Ministry, this store is plugged in to our community. Need satisfying comfort food? The pot pie will not disappoint. And if you need beautiful flowers (cut or arranged) the floral department is wonderful. Lori will make custom floral designs to order and is excellent at capturing the vision for flowers.

The big lady in the deli that usually deals with the chicken has the worst attitude ever. She’s legit the devil. You guys have to do better with her and her customer service skills.

This is by far the best grocery store I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of.My first job was in 1986 for Lowes Food in Liberty N.C. and this is nothing like that anymore! I am highly impressed. It is like being in a Whole Foods without the higher prices.I was sitting at the wine/beer bar enjoying a awesome peach ipa beer when I was then afforded a freshly made chocolate.This Lowes Foods is truly a gem!

I went to the deli after work looking for something for dinner. Debra was there to help me out. She listened while I explained what I was trying to do, made suggestions and really helped me make the right decision. Of course it is delicious food, but the service really puts it over the top! Store is always clean, bright and well stocked. Associates are helpful and kind. Their cakes are divine! Always a pleasure being in the store.

Even if I am not shopping, I like to sit and have a brew or a glass of wine. Staff is friendly and pleasant. Social mandates are followed, and it is very clean. It is a very nice place to sit and unwind.

Very good produce section. Beer selection is also very robust, but I would put their prices on the high end. Much cheaper pretty much anywhere. Fantastic customer service.

Really nice Grocery Store. They have everything you need. Nice, Fresh healthy fruits and vegetables. They carry BOARS HEAD MEATS!!! U can sit and eat or have coffee. Very inviting. They are just really expensive. Watch your wallet.

I ordered a cookie cake for my kiddo during the quarantine, and expected a simple happy birthday and made notes that he liked Paw Patrol. What they brought me far exceeded my expectations! It was beautifully done with a Paw Patrol badge and an outdoors scene! Such work and effort went into that cookie cake and it just warmed my heart. It made our simple birthday at home much more special! The bakery team at New Garden Lowes is amazing! Thanks for making me smile!

If you want to be treated like an interruption of someones day, go here. Very rude staff, particularly in the deli section. Our cashier, Angelia, saved the day, however. Very nice, had a smile on her face. She should coach some of the others on how to treat customers.

Pleasant place for grocery shopping

I am very happy with Lowes Food pick up service. I ordered for the first time last week, and was very impressed with the service/shopper, and the pick up experience. I had a minor issue and they corrected it and credited me, without a problem. I then ordered again (2nd time). Pick up was so easy. We got there, rang the button and gave our name and the women brought my groceries and put them in the trunk of the car. No contact. The receipt was in my bag of groceries. I got home and checked my items and the expiration dates were good (I asked them to please check expiration dates on the dairy items) and there was no issue with that. They are also very pleasant (the shopper and the customer service girls I spoke with). I called a few times to discuss the issue I had with something I picked up (not their fault) and they were glad to take care of it without an issue. All in all, a very good experience. I will continue to use Lowes Food for my shopping needs, both pick up and in the store in the future. Thank you Lowes Food.

Love this store! The bakery is exceptional & I cant express enough how great their bread is. Its to the point, I have to stay out of there for the sake of my thighs lol. Their fresh fried chicken is delicious! The best grocery store fried chicken hands down! The beer & wine selection is impressive as well. I love the fresh herbs I can cut & place in a bag for .99. Price wise, its a little more expensive than other stores. But worth it. Customer service is awesome too.

Can’t get my online orders when I order things, even soda or sausage. Do not pay until you pick up! My funds were held for 3 days even though they didn’t have what I ordered!!! In this time of uncertainty and stress, none of us can afford to have our funds held!!

Never thought I would be reviewing a grocery store but this Lowes is my favorite place to shop for groceries. Always helpful staff around whenever I need assistance. And the small already sliced pieces of cake are usually 4 for $4 and they are absolutely amazing!

We have started going here instead of a super store for groceries. The selection of produce is fantastic but today was especially nice because Kelsey in the coffee bar was very helpful, telling me about their different cold brew teas and how to sample them and my blended latte is tasty! Then, Hattie, at checkout, caught that my coffee creamer had a broken cap. I have a great experience every time and their salad bar is fresh which is rare for a grocery store to maintain high quality fresh food bars. Thanks to your entire team!

I’ll give a two star just because of the pricing is fair. But I had went into this store to ask upon job positions. I was told by the hiring manager she only had deli positions open. She was currently helping a customer out and I waited patiently to be spoke with. I was interested in the position because she said she needed lost of help in the deli. The hiring manager spoke up and said rudely that she didn’t have time for me today after I waited a good ten minutes of my life. I am glad she spoke up to how she truly felt. No wonder you can’t keep honest and loyal employees in the deli because you don’t even give them the chance. You are rude and an inconsiderate human. You said you don’t have time for me, well I really don’t need a manger like you! Gladus, you know who you are.

Nice and clean grocery store. It has just about everything you need. Make sure to get the Lowes card to help save some money. If you dont have the card it can be a little pricey to do all your shopping here. But overall this store is the closest to a five star that i have seen around here.

Lowe’s Foods is like going to Disney World I heard a young girl tell her Dad. Going in you can have a beer in the beer den, grab some chicken or a sandwich . Or head over to the meat department for some fantastic Barbecue their sauces are awesome ! Or head to produce for some already cut up fruits and veggies. Floral is charming too with beautiful flowers and cute unicorn balloons !

I must say this, the store front is nice, organized and well stocked but the womens restroom is filthy, not just once but every time. Makes me wonder about their cleanliness in the food prep areas.

Its a decent store but prices are always higher than every other store and some of the younger people working there can be very rude. I wont go there unless I absolutely have to.

Since the renovations were done this Lowes Foods location, its even better. The staff is always friendly. The store is kept well and organized. The new wine/beer/bar area is a nice addition. And, the fresh bakery and deli always smells delicious.

All associates are extremely courteous. I practically drive across town to go to this store and Food Lion is within 2 miles.

Majority of their Employees are Rude not Friendly at all when it comes to customers!! What Happened to Customer Service this Location is the only one that Ive experienced Poor Customer Service Customers should be shown better Customer Service especially when Spending Money in your Store! The bakery at Lowes Foods did an AMAZING job on the cupcakes for my son’s 1st birthday! They were absolutely delicious, the colors were exactly what I asked for, and they were super affordable! Only about $8.50 per dozen! I am normally a die hard Delicious Bakery fan, but after this experience with the bakery at Lowes Foods, I will ONLY order my cupcakes here!

Best customer service I have ever encountered in a grocery environment. That always makes the difference in my opinion. The Beer den is exceptional here. I could rant for a bit... I really like this store and its fresh goods.

Apparently they no longer teach baggers how to bag. Its not just here, food should go with like food items and non food items should go together. I dont want soap leaking over my produce, nor do I want my bread squashed by can goods

I went there to buy a beef tenderloin. I didnt like how small the only one left was, so asked the meat counter person, a young kid to check for some more. He tried to sell me an upgrade for $4 more a pound. I declined and asked again to check for a larger one out back. He agreed. He went behind the counter and started packaging meat instead of looking for a larger tenderloin. Completely ignored me for 5 to 10 minutes and I walked out!

Wonderful staff. Peaceful environment.

I ran in to grab last call before shut down on needed kiddo supplies. Love going in there. Miss the old environment
