Theyre nice people but I would not recommend them. We had builder-grade carpet and padding in our house, when we moved in, and we paid them over $7,000 to do a higher-end carpet and padding through the entire house. As you can see in the pictures, this is what we were left with. Two very visible seams in different high traffic areas of our loft that look terrible. Ill give credit where its due, they did come out to try to press the seams back down but after a few attempts they just said well, it says in the contract that you may have visible seams. Im sorry but, in my opinion, thats just a cover your tail clause. I dont do reviews, hardly at all, but we were highly disappointed and I would hate for someone else to go through that.

Like many homeowners during COVID, we were inspired to update the fireplace surround in our 1920s Westerwood home. It was a small job… we spent hours at the big box stores, considered DIY, checked design magazines, surfed HOUZZ & got estimates from random people. Then we came to our senses and called Carpet One by Henry. Several years ago, we had such an excellent experience working with Cynthia on a kitchen renovation, we contacted Carpet One by Henry again. Although this was a small project ( replacing the original old red-brick tile on the hearth, we were treated as though we were a Big Job.. The suggestions she made were excellent & loved the suggestions. We ended up with an extra box of the beautiful gray Italian tiles (because the installer was so good). Months went by & as we searched for a new more contemporary looking fireplace door to replace our dated gold one, I had an eureka moment & decided to use the extra tile around the opening. Once again, Cynthia helped us with scheduling the small job and the results are fantastic. (photo attached withOUT the new simple black folding door which is custom & on order). I had my fairly new carpet cut down into two 8*10 area rugs. They choose the best parts for the area rugs and they completed the job in a timely manner. I am pleased!

I am honestly amazed at the transformation of our basement, thanks to Carpet One by Henry and their expert tile professionals! We chose porcelain tile planks in a wood-like finish, and the final product is virtually indistinguishable from real hardwood floors--but the long-term upkeep will be minimal! Thanks for helping us to transform our basement into a beautiful space!

I have nothing but great things to say about this company. I have used them twice already. The first time was to install carpet in the entire house, price was reasonable and results were great. The second time maybe about a week ago, I had my kitchen floor done. I knew it would be more work because of broken tiles and asbestos in the old tiles. So they had to lay a concrete down to smooth it out, since they can’t remove asbestos. It was a sweet back because it took 2 days, but again I expected that. The end result was GREAT!!!! I will use them again for my bathroom! See pictures below! I don’t think I’ll use any other flooring company!

We ended up with a beautiful stair runner for our oak stairs and are very pleased! They have an excellent variety and choice of flooring in their Greensboro store! We were greeted kindly and helped in a quick matter of time. The ordering process was very easy and someone came out very soon thereafter to measure for our project. However, our salesperson fell short in following through with our scheduling. After several attempts to resolve the issue through him, I contacted the store Assistant Manger who was very apologetic and more than happy to solve the issue and see that the matter was handled promptly! Emily was a real pleasure to work with, very friendly and efficient!! The installers arrived on time, were very knowledgeable and professional, and did an amazing job!! We are so happy with the completed project and would definitely return to Carpet One By Henry!

We had luxury vinyl plank installed in our laundry room, kitchen and dining room. Everything with the installation went according to plan until it came to reinstalling the shoe molding around our stained cabinetry. Grady Scott from Carpet One called the day after installation (who does that anymore?) to see if we were pleased with everything. We told him we werent. He jumped right on the issue by coming to the house to look at it himself, taking a stained piece of shoe molding so he could have the stain matched, having new shoe molding stained and having it installed. We are very pleased with the finished product! We are even more pleased with the great customer service we received!

Carpet One by Henry has some of the best carpeting and rug options in central NC, which is why I frequently depend on them for my clients. The staff is consistently knowledgeable, helpful, and personable. My only criticism is that follow up communication after an order has been placed leaves a bit to be desired, which is worth losing half a star, but thats not an option. That being said, the end result is always terrific.

After a positive experience two years ago I ordered additional carpet for a room. I paid for the carpet and was told it would take several weeks for the carpet to arrive. I waited several weeks and finally called and was told that the carpet had arrived and that the installer would call me. I waited again but no call. I finally had to make several calls to get a date for installation.

From start to finish everything went well!Proper measurement was done with a view to reasonable cost & an appropriate solution.Installation was timely and professional.We are extremely satisfied!

We are very pleased with our new carpet from Carpet One by Henry. Our salesman was extremely helpful in helping us find the perfect carpet to fit our needs. The installers were terrific. They came in and complete four bedrooms wall to wall in one day. The stair carpet installers did an outstanding job and completed the job in four hours. The only area I can see room for improvement is in scheduling the installation. Wall to wall carpet was scheduled and completed two weeks before the stair carpet was installed. We felt it should have been completed the next day or the same week. Overall, we were very pleased with Carpet One by Henry and will go back there for our future carpet/flooring needs.

I worked with Matt back in late 2018/early 2019 to get some Coretec luxury vinyl flooring in a large part of our downstairs. It was a great experience and I appreciated his help in choosing the right color. The installers were terrific. I especially liked the technique they used to finish the quarter round edges, by mitering and using another small mitered piece to finish it off- very professional (just need to be sure they’re glued). We (thought we) had an issue about 6 months after install, with a skinny gap at one of the transitions, but Matt had someone come out (did take a couple calls) and show us that it relates to it being a floating floor and showed us how to ‘fix’ it - no charge. 🙂We love it so much that this year I wanted to get a different color Coretec for a bathroom redo.I have a contracting company to do the job so I only needed to order and pick it up. I ordered samples online, chose my color, and called Matt to purchase. He drew everything up and said he would email it to me within the next day for review before I purchased.About a week later I hadn’t gotten an email so I called and Matt apologized and sent it to me by the next day. All was in order; I purchased over the phone easily (with another associate as Matt wasn’t available then, so that was convenient that she could pull it right up). It arrived in less than two weeks. I was called when it was ready and I picked it up at my convenience.It isn’t installed yet, but I’m very excited to see the finished product.I don’t know why anyone buys hardwood anymore when there are so many options with LVP and Coretec is 100% waterproof and easy maintenance.
