Workers are very nice and items are true quality. Ive gotten many shoes and cleats here as well as swim suits, pre-wrap and more.

After two poor experiences at this store I am compelled to write a negative review. The last time I went in for running shoes, there were 3 young boys working in the shoe area. While they were helping me with my shoes, they were openly mocking a customer shopping in another area of the store because she asked one of them what they felt to be a silly question. This behavior would be poor if they chose to do it in the break room, and to do it in front of another customer is even more appalling. It did not make me feel good about shopping there. What would they say about me after I left?I decided to give them another chance since I would prefer to support a local retailer over a big box store, but again I found the service to be lacking, and the whole time I felt as if I was an annoyance to the children they have working there rather than a valued customer. It’s disappointing how bad this store has gotten over the years.

Associates were very knowledgeable about the shoes, and everything else that entails from overpronation to flat feet. The associate took at least 30mins to sit with me and go through the fitting process. He was patient and kind. Great rewards program as well!

I love this place for getting my running shoes. Larry is my favorite associate he is always so helpful, friendly and kind to all of the customers. He’s knowledgeable about what shoes might work best for different feet, and when I came back to return a pair that didn’t work that another person recommended, he recommended the QC brand and they’ve been amazing! Some of the other associates I’ve noticed are not as friendly, but I try to go when Larry is working because I know he will help me find what I’m looking for. I only buy my sneakers here !

This middle aged big chick needed a good pair of shoes with arch support and to help with plantar fasciitis. I spoke to Cleo who fixed me right up with a pair of New Balance 860s. I had immediate relief and improvement. If I dont get my shoes here I always end up with the wrong shoes. Knowledgeable, helpful service with great explanations of the different types of shoes. Of course they have your other sports equipment and clothing and Yeti supplies but I can only speak to the shoes.Thanks again Omega Sports!

Shoe fitting machine doesnt work. Helpfulness of sales staff is hit or miss. Consultative sales model doesnt exist at this store. If youre not sure of what you need, they arent sure of what to sell you.

This store is the best! Everyone here is very knowledgeable and helpful. Such a better experience than any of the big box stores. They also run great sales and are competitively priced. We go here for all our sports needs and we have 4 kids in 3 different sports.

I hardly ever feel compelled to write a review, but I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.I went there for tennis strings only to see what I needed, Babolat RPM Blasts, priced at $34.00 when they’re available online (Amazon, Tennis Warehouse, etc.) for $17.95. I asked if the price was inflated due to their free stringing when you purchase strings from them, which would make some sense. However, they claimed their buy-in requires them to inflate the price almost 100% as a chain with what...at least 5 locations?! I don’t think they realized they were speaking to a store manager in retail. That is either complete lack of awareness or an egregious lie they chose to tell. Not sure which is worse, but there is absolutely no way their buy-in affects pricing that much. I’ll stick to supporting an honest, local business like Ski and Tennis in Winston over people bold enough to assume their costumers are not smarter than that. It is insulting at best. Needless to say, I will not be back.

Stopped in looking to try a pair of Hokas. The people were very friendly and knowledgeable. Hokas provide great shock absorption for my bone-on-bone knees. Left with two pair, taking advantage of the great sale today. Omega is my store of choice when shopping for good athletic shoes.

I went in to buy a new pair of Brooks running shoes. The employee who helped me was very knowledgeable and helpful with what I needed since I had ankle surgery earlier in the year. We also ended up buying a pair of shoes for our son which were on sale and extremely affordable! The layout of this location was great and the store was very tidy. I will continue to take my business to this location.

Omega sports, you disappoint me! Walk into the store just in the middle of March Madness to get a new DUKE t-shirt, after all they did just win the ACC tournament, and there is a ton of Carolina apparel and only ONE Duke t-shirt style in the whole store. Whole front of the store covered in Carolina merchandise, from shirts to hats and coolers etc. Was told they sent all their Duke merchandise to the store closer to DUKE....really?!?! We are what 45 min from the school?! Wow!

I was really disappointed with this place. I wanted to go to a local store in lieu of a chain, but instead of getting a hometown friendliness, I got the Walmart treatment.I went up to the first salesperson I saw and asked where the childrens cleats were. She looked me dead in the eye and continued hanging clothes. The second lady turned and walked into the back when she saw me walk up. The guy in the front noticed and had to come from behind the counter and help me. I looked around and went straight to Dicks Sporting Goods where I save some money and know what to expect from their customer service.
