Coffee here is pretty strong. They have a decent variety of non-coffee drinks and some bakery items. The space is nice and clean and the workers are pretty helpful/nice. Great for studying/working as they have a lot of tables of various sizes and outlets throughout although it can be a bit loud. The store has two individual restrooms and an outdoor space with a few tables.

I’ve been a barista for 4-5 years now and I came to Greensboro on vacation with my hubby and was instantly attracted to this place. I got breakfast for two, two coffees, and espresso for around 25 bucks. All amazing the chicken sausage was a sweet maple apple flavor paired well with a sharp cheddar and the turtle latte and nitro cold brew was out of this world yummy. Can’t wait to try the espresso at home with my machine. Staff was so sweet. If y’all are reading this you rock much love!

I went to this location to purchase a tumbler and coffee as a Father’s Day present. Upon entering the store I was promptly greeted by the cashier. I made my selections and went to the counter where I was helped with a smile and provided answers to some questions I had regarding my purchase. The cashier was friendly and knowledgeable. I’m a big coffee drinker but up until this point had not found a place to buy good coffee since moving to NC a year prior. I ordered a Carmel iced coffee and I was instantly in love. It was smooth, flavorful, not over powering and provided a much needed caffeine boost. The vibe of the store is very comfy and welcoming. There were some patrons seated on their laptops, and some just there with a companion. It felt very “warm”. Definitely a 5 star from me!! If you haven’t been this is a must for any coffee drinker 🙂

Caribou has the BEST coffee by far (so much better than that ubiquitous one with the mermaid logo). I just wish there were more Greensboro locations. Add one in the north part of Greensboro and I’d be there much more frequently!

As for the atmosphere, its warm looking (though it is often chilly, so be sure to either wear long sleeves or bring a coat) and small and cozy like a hole in the wall store... which I love. Its quiet, and a great place for small groups to meet. They have a fake fire, but it adds to the atmosphere, nevertheless.

Even with limited tables the inside space is cramped and awkward at best. The americano i had was one of the best i have had in GSO however. The chicken breakfast burrito thing was also better than i was expecting. The staff was attentive and nice.

Absolutely love Caribou Coffee!! Whenever Im in a market with one I make a point to stop! This experience was great - the coffee was great! Also, I tried their mushroom and Swiss souffle - surprisingly good!! If you love coffee & want an alternative to Starbucks, Caribou is a phenomenal choice!

Good cold and blended coffee. My blended coffee was a bit too sweet but I made a crazy frogg. Thankfully, their coffee isnt acidic as Starbucks. I could totally love it if their corporate ditched masks. . I cant hear people talking through them

Its not easy to communicate customer care and attentiveness with a mask on during COVID, but the ladies at Caribou Coffee have managed to succeed beautifully. We came in on a Saturday morning and placed a large order for many different hot chocolates with different prep requests, and they handled everything perfectly with a high level of service.This visit makes me want to return often; they are doing everything right over there. There was even a hand sanitizer station for customers! If you need a delicious coffee drink, or a warm cup of hot chocolate during these more chilly October days, you should make this coffee shop your first choice.

Beautiful interior. Horrible internet. Caribou is an upscale Starbucks in terms of atmosphere. Not cheap, but in line with Starbucks. My tea was excellent.If you are going to offer a service, make sure it works or reconsider offering it at all. Trying to load UNCG website. So local site, relative to shop. Homepage finally stopped loading at about halfway done. After 15 minutes I was disconnected and had to reconnect. I now remember why I stopped coming to Caribou.

Tried the Blackberry lemonade, terrible. Tasted like the time my mother forgot to put the sugar in the grape cool aid and made all the kids at the picnic sick.

Even after 10 years, this is still my favorite coffee house in the triad.

So first time coming just wanted to try something new. I am surprised that It’s been here for 15 years but I haven’t heard about it. Very nice they have chairs but also comfortable couches to sit on and I like chalkboard inside. Compared to Starbucks they have a lot more items to choose from, from coffee, tea, beverages, smoothies, healthy food, etc. It is small like others have said but the whole setup is nice. I ordered orange guava smoothie with nice decorated cup. I will definitely be coming here more often to chill or study. Keep it up good work!

Second favorite coffee shop in Greensboro. I cant wait till COVID-19 is done so I can once again hangout at Caribou. I enjoy their chai tea latte the most.

The staff is kind, courteous and hard working. I came at a really busy time and they were swamped with orders. I was impressed that they kept working hard and as fast as possible to get my order ready. Meanwhile, they continued to do an excellent job with curbside, pick up, and new orders coming in. Never have I ever experienced someone rude or that didnt seem to care about the customers here. If theres been any issue with a drink(one time out if many), it will be fixed without any grievance. Employees are always pleasant and cheerful which makes for a great experience. Every drink Ive ever gotten has always been made to the same standards every time.

I come into here multiple times a week. Shannon, Rachel, Chelsea are AMAZING. They know my order as soon as I walk up. They are the sweetest ladies Ive ever met. Its crazy but my coffee taste better when they make it.If you have NEVER tried the Campfire Mocha order one immediately. I stopped in to grab some breakfast and a coffee before work. The spinach mushroom souffle was very good but a little small. For $5 I expected it to be a little bigger. The Caribou blend coffee is wonderful!

Asked for a sample of pea berry coffee. We always loved it & couldn’t get it until Aug. They refused to make any and asked what keurig we used . She ground it on medium and said she has the exact same machine. 2 tablespoons 6 oz. We have just spent 2 hrs trying to get it to taste like coffee . It’s bitter no coffee taste . Resembles bark, sour citrus water. A plant out of the grass . Now today as it says on the bag, no hassle return . Guaranteed . Also we found out every time we got a cup it had been French pressed. Of corse no one said anything til today when I called to get a refund. Is wasn’t a no hassle either. Asked me question after question. I also said the lady said it’s of medium strength. I said to begin with we use medium roast. Clearly on the bag in very small letters it says Grind @ medium & Light roast. I get caramel Frappuccinos. I never get whip cream so I ask for a bit extra Carmel. Never taste any Carmel. I guess they charge xtra for a drop of caramel. W/0 all the whip cream they pile on top they can certainly can add a drip of caramel. Not satisfied with Caribou a Coffee at all. Totally misinformed.

Uncomfortable seating arrangement. The guy behind the counter was rude, rushing my family to complete our order, my fiancé was looking the menu and he huffed and puffed under his breath. When we did place our order my son loved the mini donut muffins, so I went back to the counter to order more and though I could see the muffins the employees (same guy rushing my family to complete our order) refused to sell me the muffins. I do not recommend coming here to enjoy a family night out.

Regardless of the a little bit overpriced items they have, yet in my opinion they have the best white chocolate mocha I ever tasted. Nice place to relax and its in a good traffic area

Just had to stop for a coffee. Caribou was the only thing we were craving. Walked in to pleasant and helpful service behind the counter. I happened to miss order, but they kindly walked me through how to order my drink the next time. Ended up with a fabulous drink. Walked out happily taken care of, and fulfilling my craving for a good coffee!

Caribou Coffee is a quaint and lovely space. They have individual seating places as well as 2, 4 and 6 top tables to have a conversation and be comfortable.

Love their iced and hot brewed coffee. Never tastes burnt or over roasted. The staff and friendly and welcoming. Love their treats as well. Great seating if you want to stay a while.

This was a nice place to go to. I got my drink fast and the prices were reasonable compared to what most coffee places charge.

This Caribou is ‘okay’. I find the location difficult to access easily due to its location within friendly center, the horrific roadway design at the surrounding intersections, and the impossibility to quickly leave the area. That is unfortunate for the location because the shop is relatively enjoyable to visit. However, I have not really found any item from this location to be of amazing quality or enjoyability. It seems maybe Caribou is going down a different path the past couple of years, perhaps?Anyway, this location is a good choice within friendly center for a quick pick me up, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to stop here. For true coffee lovers, Breugger’s is nearby within Friendly Center, as well as Whole Foods.

I gave them my name and the girl that took my order disappears. I keep looking back to the counter an no one says anything. Finally I walk back and there is my order sitting on the counter. I ask if it is mine and the man at checkout says what did you have? I told him and he says yeah yeah that is it. The coffee was good but the staff dropped the ball.

As coffee shops go I would say that this coffee shop is just as good as any Starbucks Ive ever been in anywhere in the country. Worth the trip when youre passing through town. ~V.

Food selection isnt nearly as good as at the Barnes & Noble cafe, but the coffee is better, and so is the atmosphere. The interior is partitioned so you can find a lot more nooks and crannies to sit in. Also, there is usually a power strip available to charge your laptop. Excellent study place.
