This place and its patrons are amazing. They are friendly and very welcoming. I just started getting into MTG and came across The Comic Dimension and from the moment I walked in I felt at home. The owner is such an amazing person! One of the patrons even set time aside to work with me and teach me how to play the game! I strongly recommend The Comic Dimension.

My brother introduced me to Magic the Gathering and then brought me here to play. Everyone is so nice and help me all the time! It’s a really laid back place and kisses the dog is just the cherry on the awesome Sunday that is Comic Dimensions. If you are into meeting cool people who like to game then you should come here!!!

I was checking out this shop yesterday while I’m as in town for my marriage. The shop was very clean and the owner was very welcoming. The owner was very knowledgeable about his inventory. I found a very rare Umbrella Academy comic book shop exclusive. I also bought a figure which he even threw in a second figure as a wedding gift! Definitely the nicest shop in town, and I’ll be making a trip back with my soon to be wife solely to go back this amazing shop!

Love this place! I come here for all my D&D needs. Yes, some prices are slightly higher than some huge companies, but when you don’t have to have things shipped (and possibly lost or damaged in transit) it more than balances out. The atmosphere in the store is awesome and the selection is large. Staff is always ready to help with any questions, and willing to get specific products ordered if requested! I just can’t say enough good things about this store.

Absolutely love this place! Literally live over 30 minutes away and is worth the drive every time.Players are friendly for magic or dnd, great card selection, and a plethora of comics. If you have never been I highly suggest going for any of the reasons above!

Came out for MTG Commander night (8/3/21). Greeted by the owner at the registration table. There he took my name and I was escorted to a pod for an evening Magic. Couldnt be any easier for a person coming to the store for the first time and not knowing anyone. Much appreciated. The patrons I met with were chill. The place is clean and gives good vibes from the lighting and mix of comic book/D&D-type decor. Wish I would have knew about this place sooner!

The Comic Dimension is a great place to hang out and meet new people. They are super inclusive and want you to have a good time. I would highly recommend anyone to come and check out the store.

These guys are comic/magic geniuses. They are super welcoming and knowledgeable. Tuesday and Friday nights have become a day I look forward to because of the MTG nights. It’s also a please to see a friendly underbite from Kisses the dog. Everyone should buy local and send their business to this place. You will not regret it. Oh and did I mention the Dungeon? So this place is absolutely epic. They have everything from collectible statues for anime and Comics alike. An amazing selection of sleeves, deck boxes, and binders. It’s a super fun atmosphere and the owner is beyond respectful and nice.

Always a delight when we come here. We are new comers and well we have been back seems like every weekend. Today though we went in for my sons 13th Birthday and was surprised by the most sweetest most adorable fur baby Kisses! She was mine and my daughters favorite sighting today. The staff is always super polite. if you havent been here you are missing out. Prices are fare in my opinion as well! Definitely a MUST go!!

Oh my goodness. This place is so cool. I was greeted by a giant Hulk when I walked in and then got to hang out with Deadpool! My bestie is getting me into The Magic the Gathering card game and we are now playing here! There is room for us to hang out and Chris & Kisses are too adorable! The fun thing is that they have nice collection of local adult drinks!

I am a newcomer to magic, and card games in general. This was not my first store that I went to, but it will certainly now be the only one I go to. Unlike the other store, the people here are nice to newcomers, and I swear one of them gave me the best advice for a Precon commander deck. I’ll happily drive the extra miles to go here. Cheers to a card store that genuinely welcomes newcomers.

Chris answered the phone when I called and was very patient while I explained that I was looking for assistance with codes for the Midweek Magic events offered on MTGA. He was polite, respectful, and went out of his way to make me feel like I was a valuable customer. He also took time to describe what sets The Comic Dimension apart from other stores--he clearly took real pride in where he works and made me want to go see it for myself.

I usually go to other shops in the triad but they had a new product I wanted. When I went there they charged me double it’s value. I ended up buying it because I needed it but I definitely recommend waiting to go to other card shops so you don’t get price gouged.Response: Other card shops in the area sell them for much less. I support local very frequently but felt as though I had to make a purchase since I drove 30 minutes outta my way. I called three other shops but they did not have the product otherwise I would have purchased from them. I dont appreciate yall arguing my review. Ive heard bad things about this shop before but decided to still give yall a try. Next time Ill just wait for other shops to get their stock.

Love this place. Employees are extremely helpful, and fun to speak to. Owner is one of the most nicest people. Love going and looking at what they have fo offer. Would offer it to people that are wondering and questioning on places to go and look for comic relayed products and they are extremely nice to kids who are just starting out with comics and other thing relayed to comics.

Great little comic/nerd shop tucked away off spring garden. Helpful and friendly staff who, in my experience, have been kind and open with all customers. They have an amazing looking dungeons and dragons room for rent, and they sell beer by the bottle. They also sell DnD miniatures! A perfect place to get your nerd on.

Let me tell you walking into there and just having that life sized hulk looking down was awesome. The only thing better was the customer service were you can tell its not a just a job. Comic Deminsion has the most character around and I will definitely be back!

I cannot give a comic book store a 5 unless they have a better assortment. This store had friendly staff and they were not pushy. I came looking for comics and MTG cards. They did have a good variety of both, but I was expecting more. By all means support your local comic stores. The CD was clean and friendly. All they need is more comics.

Comic Dimension is the perfect place for all your gaming and comic needs. The staff is very friendly and educated on their products. I play magic there quite regularly and its a very comfortable environment. Its like a second home💕 10/10 reccomend

Was new to Comic Dimension today looking for some back issues. I didnt find much of what I was looking for but they had a great layout and super cool atmosphere. Not a traditional comic store for us die hard old school folks, but the guy working was cool to talk with and they had a very nice selection. Im not a social gamer (board games), but this place has that too and many other items to accompany comics like figures and such. This is more of a all in 1 stop shop, super cool place. Check it out sometime if you like more than just comics.

Great place. We were in the area for a couple days after a work retreat and decided to come in to check it out. There is a bunch of games you can play in store. My wife and I ended up hanging out for hours playing games. We bought a handful of MTG cards and even made a friend who was there to play D&D. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area.

Not only were the people there knowledgeable and friendly, but they took the time to breakdown my MTG cards, they more than took care of me!! I would highly recommend for anyone looking for comics, games, MTG, collectibles.

Bad experience. Store looks nice but that’s about it for the positives. I asked the person at the front if they carried any Yu-Gi-Oh! cards and the person said in an extremely condescending tone “This isn’t the community for that.” Made me feel unwelcome and not to mention the facility was foul smelling as well. Would it be too much of a hassle to install some wallflowers or keep some Lysol? Will not ever go back.Update: Thank you for taking the time to respond. However, your reply is incorrect about what happened. I quoted verbatim what the employee said and I was never suggested anywhere else to buy Yu-Gi-Oh products from. It’s a shame because I’d visit the store again for the comics or manga but this whole experience has been bad. 1 star.

I really enjoy this cool, little niche store in town. Great people and love the Spidey and Hulk statues that adds just the right touch!! Jack is very helpful and product knowledgeable. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Great store with a good selection of comics, trades, games, and toys/statues. The big draw for me is the life sized Hulk when you walk through the door. So awesome? Justin was amazing, very knowledgeable and friendly. He even offered to take my picture with the Hulk when he saw me eyeballing it. Great place.

Going to The Comic Dimension has been a special treat for my husband and our son. Dont get me wrong, I enjoy going there as well. Chris goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service. The employees do a wonderful job by giving you space to browse and not making you feel like you need to purchase something. Their selection of products and attention to detail when it comes to how it is organized is wonderful. I love the atmosphere Chris has cultivated. When our son walks through the entrance he thinks it is a magical world and stores now a days arent like that so this makes The Comic Dimension very special.

Great place, great owner, great selection. They have a game area and also host events. Highly recommend. And the Hulk, Deadpool and Spider Man can be found there as well. Just don’t make the hulk any more angry than he already is, please.

Theres a nice variety of manga and comics to explore, and the figures are nice. They also have stickers and bookmarks that are pretty good quality. My only grievance is that its a little cramped towards the entrance but thats about it.

Ive been coming here with my son (5 yo) almost every week for two years, and every experience has been great! Chris is such a kind person. Great comic selection, and even better games selection. Its very obvious that Chris is passionate about his shop. 10/10 recommend!

The heavy MTG and D&D game focus at this shop, with a wealth if comics, manga, figures, and minis. Come have a game night or play cards with friends and strangers alike. The staff offers phenomenal banter, as well as a great source of recommendations should they be unable to provide what you may be looking for.

My daughter loved the selection of manga and graphic novels. The owner and employees were all extremely helpful and kind to us. If your looking for a place with a kind community or a fun time come here.

Been going to this shop for nearly 4 years and still love every visit. It has a massive mtg selection and a great community that plays both mtg and DND to this day. I greatly enjoy coming in on Tuesdays and Fridays to play commander and the various dnd campaigns Im in.

Seems like a solid local joint with a good regular crowd and a not too bad inventory of singles.

At first this place was ok. But overtime the shop owner has shown his true colors. He doesnt seem to have a real understanding of customer service and of the regulars he has, which I used to be for a while, he has a very strange relationship. In my experience this could be a fun place to get together with friends and hangout, the only problem is the owner who doesnt know how to separate his personal and business lives.The store owner has seen this and has already tried to make himself look better like he always does. He took it personally instead of looking at it from a customer service standpoint, just further proving my point. I dont know what fight hes talking about or the toxicity, I also wasnt banned and this post wasnt retaliation to anything, just my honest opinion of a business and how they could improve. I just hope that some people will actually consider my comment when they decide on whether or not to go here.

The environment is amazing, I love the atmosphere and the owner is absolutely wonderful, very helpful and welcoming. I came in because I was interested in playing magic and he has helped me build a deck, get an understanding for the game and has even played multiple games with us. Couldn’t ask for a better experience, definitely encouraged me to come back! Always willing to help people learn games and cards, so if you want to try a new hobby this is the place to come. They have a huge game area as well as a cool spot to play D&D. This is definitely the dopest comic book store Ive been in. Everytime my bro and I go we jump on the old school arcade game console that has like a couple hundred games on it. And the owner Chris keeps good vibes, always showing love!!

Ive had nothing but fun at the board game nights The Comic Dimension hosts every Thursday. The other players are really nice and inclusive and it was easy to go and join games even before I knew anyone. There are players of all ages and genders so there is something for everyone. The store is really clean and well cared for which is pretty unusual for game stores. Seriously it smells totally fine without any of the typical gamer funk you may have come to expect. They sell snacks and drinks, including alcohol, which is really convenient as well.

Failure of service, lying about competition, malicious intent. Do not trust with my money, much less my time.

The owner of this local game store is phenomenal. He is willing to help new gamers find their love of games. He is also very supportive of seasoned vets and allowing them to showcase new or obscure games. Gaming isnt your thing? Check out the comic collection and the collectibles for sale. He is a throw back to shop owners of the past who listens to his customers and genuinely cares about fostering relationships with his customers.

In response to your reply, I feel compelled to increase my rating by one star as your store is a very nice store; nicely built and eye catching. The store is stocked nicely and there was a nice sales section. My reason for being less than perfectly satisfied was the staff interaction. We were mostly ignored and it seemed as though the staff was a group of friends, just hanging out...which is fine and perfectly acceptable...if it didnt feel like the customers were being shunned in the meantime and left feeling like a burden. :) We do plan on coming back tho and hopefully we will feel a bit more welcomed.

This is a good location for gamers to come. The owner is a nice person who offered to help teach new gamers. The staff is knowledgeable. The only thing I find wrong (I havent been there too many times or long mind you) is that the merchandise was very limited. That is understandable though because of it being a small shop. I would recommend this place for meeting and playing. You should go see the hulk and the back room.

I absolutely love this place, I play dnd here every Saturday and it’s always a blast. The staff are super nice and welcoming and know what they’re talking about. Coming is the absolute pinnacle of my week with their amazing dnd room and awesome customer service. Recently preordered the new dnd handbook from here and cannot be any more excited. Been coming here to play Magic and chill. Really great place with friendly patrons. There’s plenty of table top games to play as well if Magic or Heroclix isn’t your thing. A good comic selection and a small arcade as well to enjoy. Snacks and drinks are sold for any customers so you don’t have to leave to bring food or drink. Fantastic place to hang out at, get new comics, and play board games for game night. The store owner is very welcoming to newcomers and wants everyone to have a good time. I enjoy the comic book club and Thursday board game nights. The Dungeons and Dragons room is perfect for one shots and campaigns, its beautifully themed.

I love going here! Everyone is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the various products sold as well as the games you can play. Not only is it a great shopping experience but there’s a strong sense of community here. Customers are welcome to use the space for a variety of games ranging from board games to yugioh and dungeons and dragons. This is also the only store I’ve seen in the area that sells everything you need to get started in dungeons and dragons, which I personally found fantastic and convenient when a friend of mine and I started getting into the game. There’s certainly no other store quite like The Comic Dimension in this area!

I have been to this establishment several times, each time the experience was barely on the line of okay for me. I wasnt felt very welcomed nor wanted in my times of being there; not necessarily, by the group of people there but by the employees/ owner.Other than those times, I also do not feel comfortable with the way this owner/business seems to be handling the negative feedback they have been receiving. It seems to me that they are taking the criticism more personally vs professionally. These are just my personal opinions, other people may have different experiences, but these have been mine.

Really cool shop. The owner has a dry sense of humor and is very sarcastic but once you get used to it, hes hilarious. I was born and raised in Greensboro and sadly never checked out the local game shops. Visiting from Missouri now and I have to say, the selection and cleanliness of the shop was fantastic. The singles are so much fun to look through, theyve got lots of sets, even the older ones (which is extremely hard to find in other shops across the country unfortunately). The prices were very reasonable. Same prices youd get from online retailers but you get the enjoyable in-person experience. Found a lot of what I was looking for, definitely wanna stop back by to search some more.

I was lucky enough to come visit this shop on a Thursday to experience their game night and was introduced to not only a welcoming community of avid board game players but the shop owner Chris.Chris is a well informed shop owner that helped me get introduced to tabletop gaming in general and assisted me with getting the needed materials to play with new players and friends.

Nice calm place and friendly to all comers at any skill level for games. Staff is friendly and very helpful to everyone who comes in and does their best to find everything you may ask for. People who come too are very nice to everyone even helping each other and someone who brings a younger sibling often its nice to see everyone help with their play and deck building even. My son is attending school in California,every time he comes home to visit we make a getaway for The Comic Dimension to play Monopoly! The owner is very welcoming and we really enjoy playing without the interruptions that come with being at home.The atmosphere is wonderfully energetic, with a multitude of different personalities and types of board and card games going on making it the perfect venue to help me focus on my game, even if I do lose more than I win, it’s fantastic! Not to mention that it’s a great place to buy gifts and collectibles. We plan to make it a tradition even if by chance he ends up living in this area.Thank you Comic Dimension !!

Visited this spot with two others last night. We went for board game night. We had a blast! Chris was extremely welcoming and really funny. The regulars were really friendly as well. We participated in a really cool game called Werewolf that includes everyone in attendance. There are also plenty of items to peruse, not just comic books! I will definitely be back, maybe with even more people next time!

Had an AMAZING time. My boyfriend and I planned a vacation solely around Magic, and this store definitely made our trip magical (pun intended). The owner is such a super sweet guy! Very friendly, and makes you feel welcome from the very moment you walk in. I felt like I was home! We will definitely be visiting more often.

Went here on Free Comic Book Day and had a blast. Even though they had a lot of customers, the staff still spoke to us when we entered. They were also hosting some local artists that day, which one I bought a print from. Great comic book shop! I will definitely be back here sometime in the future.
