Great place to go for parts. Never had a repair here but they seem to know what they are doing! Staff is freindly and knowledgeable. With RadioShack being gone, not sure what I would need for that last minute part 🤔.

First time there, friendly staff and informative. I built 4 PC this week and found parts they dont sell in store at best buy.

Had an easy transaction for a PC build component, with helpful staff and a reasonable price. Part worked fine. Reliable place for a custom PC build, parts and advice for your own build, or repairs. Been around a long time for a reason.

I went in to get an estimate for replacing the back cover plate on my laptop (it had been dropped and was cracked). I was told the total cost would be around $90. I asked for the breakdown and was told the part was around $30 and labor would be around $60. The guy mentioned that they do some diagnostics as explanation for the $60. I informed him that I have a warranty on the non-hardware part of my computer and for that reason didnt want them to do anything except replace the back cover. He spoke with another guy briefly there at the counter (the owner? a supervisor? IDK) who told him that in that case they could do it all for $60. I agreed, paid the $60, and left (they were to call me when the part came in).A few days later they called me. I went in to get the part replaced. The guy helping me at the counter this time was the supervisor guy who tells me I need to pay another $30. I reminded him that they had agreed the total would be $60. He acted like he didnt remember, or maybe he truly didnt remember, but the other guy who helped me the first time was standing there and acted like he didnt hear the conversation or didnt remember.So long story short, I dont appreciate the bait and switch. I would not recommend any business that does something like this.I wont be returning.BTW, there was no misunderstanding because I had just left Best Buy on that first visit and Best Buy told me itd be around $90-120. Theres no way I would leave Best Buy to go to a small mom-and-pop who was going to charge me the same thing. I wouldve taken the laptop right back to BB.

Interex is a great local asset, with knowledgeable sales people/techs.Great to still be able to pickup PC parts in a day when so many other stores are dissapearing.

I called because my computer stopped charging. They could see me right away. The man fixed a bent charger insert and said “no charge”. I tipped him and will go back whenever needed——wanted to say what a good job he did.

I went here to have my computer (Lenovo laptop) repaired, this no personality person told me it was to old, he couldnt find part among other reasons. Quoted me a price or minimum of 250 told me the laptop wasnt worth it. Mr NO personality went less than a mile on Battleground to CPR THEY REPLACED IT FOR 150.00 WORKS PERFECT AND I HOPE MORE PEOPLE LOOK AT THIS REVIEW. YOU DONT NEED TO BE IN ANY FORM OF CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU NEED TO BE SETTING OF ONE PERSON.

Was told they had the part I needed in stock then when I got there they said they only had one and it was inside a display model. They overcharge for they’re products and don’t even have good customer service. Save yourself the hastle and time. Newegg.com

I have been a long time customer of Intrex since they opened. The last 4 time I have gone there to get something I needed they did not have it. I love to support the local company when I can but they are forcing me to order off Amazon just because they dont keep parts in stock any more. Intrex is not the same as it used to be.

Walked in looking to build a first PC and the staff at Intrex were so helpful and knowledgeable!! They even talked me through the cost of fixing an old laptop I have sitting at home, so I plan to take it in for them to repair. I was really pleased with this gem of a store.

I used to be able to have any computer problem fixed at a reasonable price here. The costs are still reasonable, but the last three times Ive gone theyve been unable to fix my problem. They didnt charge me for those, but its a pain to bring my item in wait a few weeks then go back & get it unfixed, then order my own parts & do it myself. I can do it myself but there are some times I dont feel like it & Im willing to pay someone else to do it.

Only dedicated computer store around

They were not personable at all. They seemed like emotionless robots in person and on the phone. They definitely didnt seem happy to be there at all. It made me very uncomfortable.

I am editing my review, i made it 2 years ago. I had them at a 5 star but I wish I could give them lower than a 1. The staff has NO business talking to customers. They MAY be good at fixing computers, I dont know because I fix my own and only go there for parts but NEVER AGAIN. Rude miserable staff. ALL OF THEM. You can literally see they hate their job. Its like visiting the cancer ward of a hospital. I left angry and sad (of sorts) for gods sake! Save yourself the misery, dont go!

Customer service and support is terrible. Everyone that works there talks to you like youre stupid including the owner. Very poor service. Prices are mostly high and very limited inventory.Could be a lot better with new management.

CPU fans die on me, as well as bad RAM!!! which cause my window crashed. While I am good a blue screen code look up: I could not figure out why until I take to Centrix . Their price seem FAIR since my desktop is top of the line. Over all good work !! fast services and now my desk top is back up and running!!! A+

These guys charge a ridiculous rate just to look at a machine. “Diagnostics fee” so after they tell you the problem your already invested. I’m not going to drop another company’s name in a poor review but there are still shops, in the “Triad” ;), with free diagnostics and far better prices on repairs. Intrex does stock a lot of stuff if you can’t wait for Amazons next day shipping but your going to pay top dollar for it.And this place USED TO BE my favorite shop!Sorry guys, you dropped the ball.

Had two case fans and a power supply die on me, needed parts and the computer back up and working FAST! We have used Intrex in the past when we are in a pinch and have never been let down. I took the dead power supply and fans in the store with me. Billy greeted me enthusiastically and new exactly what I needed for replacements. He did not endeavor to sell me something I didnt need or want but took the time to listen to what I needed and give me the product that fulfilled my need. He took the extra step to make sure that the fans were the correct size and each had the appropriate molex/romex adapters for my case. He did the same when giving me options for power supplies. I got the fans and power supply installed once I got back to work and now were back in business. Thanks to Billy and keep up the good work!

I am glad they are in business and convenient to me, but I have to stifle my laughter at some of the customers who pay $200 or more for repairs. This is 2016, just get a new pc for goodness sake or view a youtube video on how to fix your problem.

BEST LOCAL PC SHOP AROUND !!!!! Ive delt with alot of companies for many years doing my own hobby home based computer repairs. Big box stores not only have no idea what they are talking about more than half the time instock items and good pricing are unheard of. I found this place more than 10 yrs ago and Im more than willing to drive across town to get service and pricing I cannot only depend on but cant be beat by any big box out there. Love these guys and gals.

My computer had a broken hard drive and I gave it to them on a Tuesday and it was finished on Thursday. It was a little expensive but that was mainly the parts and labor. I was pleasantly surprised with the diagnostic being only $50.00.

Yall, lemme tell you about these dope people.So these guys really killed it at the customer service. I was originally building a machine myself, but upon completion, it caught fire (it wasnt my fault, Im not a noob, calm down). I replaced the case through the manufacteror. This had been a whole thing to begin with so I was honestly over it. I decided to let the professionals handle it this time.Guess what!It caught fire again with these boys (told you it wasnt me).It turns out the case I ordered was manufactured incorrectly. The review I wrote for them isnt as fantastic as this one, I assure you. I was pretty bummed because it was the lead for the RGB kit on the machine, and I was attracted to the case for that feature (among others).Yall. These patient people.It took all three dudes that work there scratching their heads in puffs of vape smoke to figure out what was happening but they fixed it. They pulled some stuff apart, soldered some stuff together, heat shrunk that b, and bingo bango, I now have a bangin machine.I offered to buy them Cook Out because they were so amazing and they refused. They just wanted a good Google review.Dont be mean to them. Retail sucks. Theyre doing their best. Obv.

Called to ask some questions and upon getting some information, the guy abruptly says, Got to go. Bye, and hung up without asking if he had answered my questions.Needless to say, I will never do buisness at the Battleground location, and for that matter, the company ever.

Called looking for a pcie Ethernet adapter for windows 10 due to performance issues Im having with my onboard gigabit Ethernet card. I asked before I drove over if they had one. I was told yes but after coming their cards were older models for windows 8. No specific driver available. While a generic driver would function, it would not have the proper performance. Now I have a wasted drive and will just wait for my internet order to arrive. Cost is less, tech is newer. Intrex has been a great place in the past when I needed a quick fix, but it appears they are not keeping up with tech anymore. If you ask my advice and you must if your still reading, just go to amazon or newegg and be done with it.
