We had a fantastic experience with Pella! Ryan Barnard advised us on which style windows would look best with the style of our home and he was spot on! The change is spectacular. Going from fully gridded windows with storm windows from the 1950s to the new Pella windows has completely transformed and upgraded our home. Ryan and Margot made the ordering and installation process very simple for us - huge bonus for busy people! The installation itself was done professionally and with true attention to detail. We are so pleased with our new windows and the experience with Ryan and the team at Pella. My parents needed new windows and sliding glass doors in their mountain home and they received the same great service! We highly recommend Pella to everyone we come across with a window and door need.

The process of ordering, having measurements done, delivery and installation was seamless. Margo and Ryan were great at knowing what I needed and getting just the right windows and doors to fit our home. Their communication along the way kept us well informed. Marshall, who did the installation, is a true craftsman. We were pleased from start to finish and equally pleased with the product. We have noticed a significant difference in the insulation value and noise reduction by having the new windows and doors. And we don’t get the bugs in the house anymore. We chose Pella to replace windows and 1 door in our 21 year old home. Expectations were high after having a GREAT experience with our salesperson Tommie. He was probably the reason we went with Pella after offering multiple options that were affordable and quality driven. He is the sole reason this review is not 1 star. Installation began end of October 2020 as scheduled. Service people were late first day on the job. Service personnel left my yard a mess daily. Tools and old materials were left scattered in my yard haphazardly, even found a discarded saw blade in my yard months after they completed project. Scheduler would not respond timely to our requests for answers. Door was scheduled to be installed at same time as windows. Was not told initially that door was on back order from factory until 2 days after window replacement had begun. Door install finally begun 2 MONTHS LATER! On top of that, the service personnel did not realize that trim piece was missing from install until after they were well into the project! They claimed that someone had “taken it from our project to complete another customer’s project” A MONTH AND HALF LATER the trim piece arrives in and was scheduled to be installed. Scheduler told us service person would be at our home to install piece. The person never showed, never called to tell us they were not coming. Called back to find out why. No reason was given, but rescheduled for another day. I was told to expect person at a certain time, installer showed up hour and half later than was scheduled for. I am happy with the product, but the installation team botched any chance of doing further business with Pella Greensboro, nor will I recommend them to any of my friends or family.

The lady was not even working in the department I needed but went out of her way to address my problem. Very professional and courteous, something hard to find in this era of foreign call centers. Great interaction with Pelli.

Dalton was the representative for pella and spent a large amount of time explaining our options.He was very knowledgeable and pleasant to be around.Right now the costs of everything are higher than usual (Covid) so we are going to wait 6 months or so for the project to begin.However, we were very pleased with the plan/design that Dalton helped us work through.

Two man team drove to my home in Asheville and performed repairs to our 20 year old french doors that were stuck closed in the locked position. They did the very delicate work of opening the door from the hinge side and removing the existing 3 point lock and then installing a rebuilt lock that resolved the problem. All this for less than the cost of a normal handyman visit. Fantastic service.

The sales staff was extremely helpful in educating me about the types of windows that are available and the cost/benefit of each type. I ordered the custom windows and set a time for installation. The installer that Pella used was very professional and did an amazing job. I have an older home built in the 60s with the old storm windows. These new windows have totally changed the look of my home and everyone who comes by my house notices them. Not to mention I can clearly see a difference in my power bill with the new energy efficiency of Pella windows. If you are in the market or even just want information about the benefits of installing new windows, I highly recommend giving the Greensboro location a call.

I called Pella Windows & Doors to have worn out locks and handles replaced on our (2) Pella Storm doors. They would sell us the necessary items needed for repair, but THEY WOULD NOT install them. I guess its sort of like buying a dozen eggs when one purchases something from them. I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone. Store was located in Greensboro, North Carolina 27407

I am happy with the installation and the windows. It has been almost a year and we have not had any problems with the windows. The new windows are much quieter and I think they are saving some on our utility bill.

My wife and I had to replace a wall of windows at our home. Justin with Pella Windows and Doors of Greensboro measured the existing wall of windows, planned a replacement wall of windows with us, and arranged for the manufacture and transport of these windows from Pella in Iowa. Installation was done by a select team that did a superb job. The team had to remove siding to do the work. They all wore masks, since we were at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic. When they left there was not a trace of their being there other than an excellent set of windows! We highly recommend them!

I am still waiting for a call or even a response to my email from Pella regarding a scheduled installation on 11/6. This process was started with a quote in July of this year for a replacement glass sliding door. The glass was accidentally cracked with a rock kicked up by our weedwhacker. Followed all instructions to a T regarding sending pictures and measuring. When the installer arrived on 11/6, his first words were “ oh, you needed the glass replaced, not just the door?”I was flabbergasted as that literally was the reason we needed a replacement. Said he could do it, then came back to say the door they brought was off by 5/8”. Again, flabbergasted...my husband creates custom furniture for a living and absolutely knows how to measure and the importance of following directions specific to the vendor. Installer assured me would get a call from that day from Pella, especially since we have been waiting so long already. Radio silence since then, even with several calls and an email request for SOME kind of communication. Already have $1800 of our money, someone needs to reach out and resolve this matter. Like today.

I want everyone to know that I have Pella Windows in my home in my Sun-room area. I made my call to schedule an appointment to have someone to contact me about replacing 2 windows. They told me it will cost 125 dollars just to have someone come out and do the measurement. Which I thought was very high but was willing to pay any the amount but once I checked my bank account they removed more than that and once I called to question them about it the lady kept transferring my calls to different numbers where no one would pick up the line. Or the phone would be disconnected. I want everybody to know how I was treated by this this company. I dont mind paying for jobs done at my home but when you steal anything big or small it is not right and should be prosecuted. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I will look else where to have the job done you will not take no more of my money from my account. I have reported your company to my bank.

The product is fine. The salesmen are liars, they hire anyone with a pickup truck to install windows and doors, terrible installation. Then the management dealing with how to fix all the mess-ups are terrible to work with. The management doesnt show up when they say they will... they dont call you either. Everyone Ive worked with at the Greensboro branch have not been professionals.

Read the contract carefully!We ordered 2 sets of patio doors from Pella in Greensboro, and when the day came to install, they were not what we were expecting. One set of doors was supposed to have blinds. We called our sales rep to try to get this resolved. His response was condescending, telling me that we said the blinds were too expensive. That is at best a misstatement and at worst a lie. That is not the conversation I recalled having.He was barely civil, saying “I don’t know what to tell you, it’s not in the contract you signed.” He was correct, the blinds are not in the contract even though we had discussed them. I think the most telling exchange was when I asked “how can we resolve this?” He responded “I don’t think we can.” He then said he needed to talk to his manager and hung up on me. We didn’t hear from him the rest of the day.I understand that it’s on us for not fully reading the contract. But the fact that he clearly didn’t care is the real issue. What surprised me is that I got this sort of response from someone representing the Pella brand.On a positive note, the doors are lovely and the installers were extremely professional and courteous.

Did a great job with a custom window. Were able to get it ordered and installed ahead of schedule. Fabulous installers. Both ordering and installation were meticulous. Measured two times to assure a good fit. New window looks great. Better than I expected.

So far we have had a great experience with Pella. Dave Bonesteel is a true professional who seems to really know his stuff and believes in the quality of Pella products. We had other companies come out to give us estimates but Pella was the only one that specifically mentioned that they would make sure the old framing around our door ways was not rotten or damage in any way. If it was they would be prepared to repair/replace it. That impressed us immediately. Also, knowing that we will have a 10 year transferable warranty ensures us that we are making a good investment.

The installation was originally 3 days the crew came in and got it done in 2, while being extremely accommodating.

In December 2018 we had 7 Pella windows installed and they have made a tremendous difference in both heating and cooling. Five of them face the east and south. They have been a blessing this summer keeping those rooms cooler and saving electricity. The installer did a great job and the windows have been flawless.

The home we purchased needed new windows as well as patio doors. Pella installed them on time and exactly as we discussed at the showroom. The installer noticed a small dent in one of the doors that I had not noticed and had already ordered the replacement when he notified me. They have been energy efficient as well as great looking. Everything was handled very professionally.

My wife and I are extremely pleased with our new Pella windows. Mike Harless was excellent working with us to explain the different levels of quality and be sure we got the right window for our needs. The quality is outstanding and a difficult installation went very well. During the high winds we experienced recently, I never heard a bit of wind whistling through or around the windows. The screens are excellent with multiple fasteners. The windows are very easy to clean, fit snugly and operate easily.Keep selling a great product, they are well worth the money.

We replaced an old set of French doors with a Pella 350 Series sliding glass door. Were very happy with the door we chose. There was some delay while the door was being built, but once it was ready the installer came as scheduled and the work went smoothly. The door operates well, and weve got a much better seal from the outside air than we had with the previous doors. We started with a visit to the Winston-Salem show room to see what was available, and then had a sales rep. come to the house. The first door we wanted was out of our price range, but the 350 Series worked out well for us.

The door is Great! I love the way it looks and functions.It took a little while for the door to come in but was worth it.There was a slight color issue when the door arrived but easily corrected. Thats the only reason I didnt give 5 stars.

We have replaced all of our spec windows with Pella over the years. When we realized that we needed a new entrance door to our sunroom, Pella was a logical choice. The price was higher than we had hoped but, typical of Pella, when the job was completed, we were glad we chose them once again. Bob, the salesman, assured us that it would be worth it. I had two sets of French doors that needed to be replaced as they warped over time and were difficult to close. Justin made the selection process painless and installation was professional and clean. Overall I’m very satisfied with the quality of the installation and the doors and windows that were installed. We had a couple issues that were probably caused by the sales lead leaving the company between the initial quote and the installation. Pella were very apologetic for the issues and fix them quickly. Bottom line, I would hire them again to do the same job and recommend you consider the same.

As a contractor I used Pella windows frequently. Pella windows are a very well made, attractive product. The color choices are ample and with matching aluminum for exterior trim the outside of our home looks so nice! We had all of our windows replaced. In one bathroom we used the insulated plastic with privacy glass and were more than pleasantly surprised as to how nice they look. Our salesman, Bryce, was fantastic! Extremely accommodating. The installation crew was very good as well. I can not stress how highly I recommend this team to replace your windows. I am sure their door installations would be great as well. Nobody is perfect, and I feel if I have no issues to report this may seem like a made up review. It may be a misunderstanding, but we were under the impression that the installation crew would be taking the removed windows AND debris (mouldings, exterior trim etc.) They only took the windows. (I am sorry I have more to say but as I type this site keeps jumping the cursor to the beginning of the review, every 2 to 3 words. It is INSANELY FRUSTRATING GOOGLE!)

The sales staff at this location are very slow to respond. I have always admired Pella windows but unfortunately they are too busy to sell their products. I wenT into this location for a quote and there has been no expectation set for a quote or when I will even be called back.

The order was perfect and installation was on time. The salesman and the person who re-verified the window measurements did a precision job.The installers did a great job with very minimal disruption or mess. They were courteous and took time to be sure we understood how to operate the windows. We chose the casement windows with built in blinds. I simply love them and our power bill already reduced after having them two weeks.They even did extra carpentry to adjust the one window in our home that was too wide for a casement window so it fit and at no extra charge.

I can only speak to pricing and the estimator coming and meeting with me. The estimator was personable, kind, and professional. I was doing a basic front entry door replacement. The thing that jumped out at me was the estimate. At the end of our conversation I was handed an estimate for $5100 dollars! Again for a standard size in swing front door. This company will definitely price out on the extreme high end for small jobs. Anyhow got the door I wanted and got it installed by a great local contractor for 450$ Plus the cost of the door (670$ )🙂. I know pella is suppose to have a quality product, but the estimate had me wondering if it was built with 14k gold 😂

We have completed our windows replacement project with Pella windows.We love the look and knowing these will last a very long time. Our house is much warmer because of these windows in the winter. The crew was very professional and detail oriented.I certainly would recommend Pella to everyone !

Three lower sashes on windows had too much play in them. Pella remedied the issue to our satisfaction. The rest of the windows were fine, seven in all.

I was an ex employee at Pella and I was done WRONG... They lied straight to my face. All the hard work I put in, hurting and tired everyday, but I kept pushing to be a great worker. The owner Lee Way actually told me he wanted me to be apart of Pella family, just to let me go with no explanation... Poured my heart to Mr. Way and he acted like he was concern, but really he wasnt... Now I say this...if I worked for the company and they do me WRONG... what do you think about the customers 🤔🤔🤔 they dont care about them at All.... they care about the money...And Tony Workman...is a liar and very unprofessional. He has fired people for taking problems to H.R. and hes the one that get rumors spread...

I am currently in the middle of a double closing on my current and future home and I am trying to get one window replaced due to the frame of the window has rotted. I called and scheduled an appointment and the closest appointment available was a week out. They did not tell me anything about a minimum labor charge after giving her a description of the job as requested. Being on a tight schedule and needing a reliable company to have an agreement with before closing, I thought pella would be the company. I then received a call the day of the appointment with the news that a one window job could run up to $1300. This window is in my garage and does not need to be energy efficient or anything fancy, by the way. The sales rep explained why there was a minimum labor charge and I understood that(not the amount), but also mentioned he had crew members that were on light duty that couldnt do big jobs that this would be perfect for. I have no problem spending money to get the job done right but I will not be taken advantage of. Not only did they not get my business but they managed to waste a week of my time in the process. If you are not made of money I would look elsewhere.

I started the warranty process for my Pella door in October of 2018. In September of 2019 they showed up with the 3rd wrong door as a replacement. After which they said they had fulfilled their obligation. Terrible company, no one willing to take responsibility due to franchising, etc - it’s basically a pyramid scheme. Pella doesn’t deserve to be known for quality as they do not stand behind their product.

Installation team is unreal they are so good

Over the past two years Pella of Greensboro has been contracted to replace every window and door in our home.This final phase has been a very disappointing and unacceptable experience to say the least. Here are the issues:In this phase we had 10 casement windows installed and our front door replaced.- The window grids arrived unpainted.- On final inspection the caulking was not done properly. There were gaps and several areas that were not caulked at all.- The front door replacement was not done properly and no attention to detail. The deadbolt was not installed properly. The dead bolt plate was just screwed on. The trim was ragged and unfinished and the grids were not properly primed.To say I am disappointed is putting it mildly. In fact it is personally insulting to me and my wife for Pella to pass this off as a quality job.Not only did we have workers scheduled behind this install, but we are entertaining important business friends in our home next week.This is serious from our standpoint and frankly someone from Pella needs to have this issue resolved to our satisfaction by this week. Further delays are unacceptable.We paid for a premium product and a premium install. We didn’t get it.

I have a double door from 2006 needed a weather strip fix. That was a joke. Trim around new door bowing from the walls no nail on middle nor non door side. Take the money and run.

I LOVE my Pella windows!! My heating bill has definitely gone down!! And Brad ( the sales person ) was great as well as the two installers!! One of the BEST companies I have ever dealt with.

The whole process from beginning to end was exceptional. The sales person that came to our house was very informative, answered all our questions and helped with what we had in mind and wanted. What he told us would happen, did happen. Everything was on time and done as he said. The installation person that installed the windows was great, I dont how he could have been any better. The man had all the tools, equipment he could have needed. He had a helper the first day to take out the old windows and then set the new ones in. After that he did all the rest himself. I must be said the he finished the completion during a tropical storm . he did the job as described and in a reaonable short amount. I must say I was and am completely satisfied. If and when the need arises Ill go with with Pella and hope these same people are involved. Thanks a bunch PELLA !!

It took a long time from the time we ordered to the time the windows were to be installed. Then the order was wrong (one of the windows was too small) so it took even longer because the window had to be reordered. After that, we seemed to have problems getting our installation done in a timely manner considering it was a mistake on Pella’s part (meaning we were not top priority even after the reorder came back). After complaining about all that we finally got our windows installed and the people installing did a great job. Everything was done professionally and they did a great job cleaning up after. Our windows look and function great.

We are return Pella customers and have been happy with both of our experiences. Great customer service and the installation process was fast and pain free. When you call ask for Brad Juchatz, he’s the best!

Way service technician went out of his way to correct a difficult situation with my door The door area surrounding the left side of the door had some rot and he was able to over come that It took a little extra time but I informed the sales person Bob Evans that there may be significant issues with the door and he and she assured me that it would be taken care of Over all I would say that the service technician did an excellent job

Worse experience ever. Took three months to get my windows, install date kept changing, wrong windows ordered, needed multiple install dates, second installers left a huge mess and I had to have my carpets professionally cleaned. Then they demanded money and said they wouldn’t leave until I paid them. Horrible experience. Do not use Pella if you want reliable service or a good product. Awful.

I am a Pella customer and love my Pella windows. I also enjoyed the visit to my local showroom in Greensboro. I encourage everyone to visit the showroom and see the beautiful windows and doors.

Couldnt even get a person on the phone to see if they wanted my business. To big of a company, the little guy needing a storm door I guess isnt worth their time. Big Corp... too bad! Customer lost and will speak poorly of this every chance I get.

After finding the Raleigh showroom closed, we called the number listed for the Greensboro show room and asked, if we go there now, can they give us pricing on everything we needed? We were told yes, and we headed there. When we got there, we found there was no one who could help us, nor could anyone tell us anything about the windows. The woman at the desk was very defensive and basically implied it was our fault. Im building my own house and WAS going to using Pella windows and doors. After wasting my day getting the runaround from them, Ill be going with Anderson. By turning me away, you folks lost close to $20,000 in sales for a 4,200 sq ft home.
