Based on the positive reviews I thought we were paying for a quality product and quality craftsmanship. We paid over $12,000 dollars for a sliding glass door, a front door and a storm door. The installation crew was great overall. They were on time, finished in a day, cleaned up everything, and when they left everything looked great (except for the screen door casing). After a short amount of time though issues cropped up that still havent been resolved after many many calls and promises that it will get fixed. RBA came out to check on the installation and they said they would address all of our concerns. Nearly 6 months after installation, these issues still haven’t been addressed:Original install: April 22, 2021Follow-up: about 1-2 months later (ordered weather stripping, piston for screen door, noted casing need, adjusted sliding screen door that had fallen out)Technician: Sept 6, 2021 came out removed the screen door strike plate - said it was damaged during installSince then….we’ve called numerous times and no one else has returned.1. The front screen door never shut properly. It took a lot of force to get it to close and it was really hard to open. Our kids can’t open it all. (see photo - new strike plate ordered months ago)2. After about a month the handle to the front screen door just fell right off.3. The flashing (?) on the side of the door between the door and the screen door has nearly come out. It feels like cheap thin aluminum and wasnt installed correctly. (see photo)4. The weather stripping on the base of the front screen door has come out several times and I have to keep pushing it back. Its frayed and damaged and needs to be replaced (someone from Anderson came out and ordered a replacement and then when a different technician came out to fix it, he didn’t have the weather stripping.5. The screen door is extremely heavy and only has one piston supporting it. Our old cheaper door had two. An additional piston was ordered by Anderson and then when the technician came out with it after a month of waiting, he said he couldn’t install it.6. The front door squeaks when it closes. It makes a nice tight seal but it certainly isnt the smooth close with your finger, the salesman described. The door handle is actually getting loose as we have to pull it so hard. Our kids (8 & 6) are sometimes unable to open the door. That is a safety concern.7. The casing around the inside of the sliding door though is a mess. I talked with the installer and we were on the same page but the final install really looks bad. Theres a one inch gap on one side that could have been covered if they had just used wider casing. The technician who came out to fix the screen door said he would have a painter come out to cover the gap. We never heard anything from the painter and when I called back there was nothing in our file about this work order. (see photo)

Teresa was wonderful. She was prompt during her visit in our home and very respectful of our time and goals. Her knowledge of the product was extremely helpful as we went through the design process. She left us feeling very confident both in her and the company she represents. We were not ready to purchase a door at this visit, but when that time comes, we will definitely touch base with Teresa to work with her. Without hesitation, we would recommend her to anyone who is looking into doors or windows.

She should us what doors and windows would be better for our home . She showed us how the doors a windows are made and she measured every window and sliding glass door . I believe we got a very good price for the work that has to be done. Wonderful experience from start to finish. The entire staff was professional and took great care during the installation. These windows aren’t inexpensive but I don’t expect to ever replace them and you can’t beat a 20 year warranty. There are several finance options to suit the needs of every individual.

Got 21 windows with full frame replacement on the second floor of the home. Excellent installation. The entire process from sales to completion was great with good follow up. The product is awesome and final installation was perfect. The installers were craftsmen and not just carpenters.

Project Consultant Donna W is great to work with. She helped us plan the replacement of many types of windows, including several specialty shapes, plus French doors. Donna is very knowledgeable about the product line and works hard to find the optimal solution for each space.

Steve E, the sales representative, arrived for the appointment exactly when he said he would. He was friendly and easy to work with. He worked with us patiently to be sure we understood the product well enough so we could order exactly what we needed.He was not pushy, but wanted us to be satisfied with what we were ordering, and guided us to making a good decision for the style and age of our home. When we changed our minds about a few things during the meeting, he didnt mind; he just wanted us to be happy with our purchase. He made the appointment for the person taking the measurements, who came within a couple days.When one of the doors required a modification, Steve came back the same day, which really surprised us, to make the change!We highly recommend this service, particularly Steve E, to those who need to replace doors in their home. A family friend recommended Renewal by Andersen as we needed to replace two doors & a window (which was only a panel of glass) at our newly purchased beach condo. The sales person provided us with several suggestions to maximize the view of the ocean taking into consideration safety and energy efficiency. To keep the costs within our budget he suggested going with a sliding door and then replacing the window with a crank-out full glass. The view is spectacular! We also had to replace a patio door and we are so happy with the one we selected. It is very solid and secure. The locking feature insures that the door is fully closed up tight, all with one hand. Our property provided some challenges for the installers (third floor with no elevator) but the guys got it done in one day. We are definitely happy customers and are planning on having Mr. Stromberg come back to help us with replacing the other windows. Unfortunately, even though they are fairly new, the quality isn’t holding up against the ocean and sand.

When considering a major investment like windows and doors - it is truly important to be educated on what it is you are purchasing. Individual presented to our home to discuss custom windows. We found the individual to be pleasant, respectful, and very patient. He explained everything to assure we have an understanding. He wasnt a high pressure salesman which I greatly respected. He knows his product and we look forward to have our windows installed in the very near future

We replaced every window in our house and we couldnt have been more pleased with the entire process. Jim was extraordinarily responsive to my many, many questions and the service has been first class. Anderson continues to keep in touch to make sure we are 100 percent satisfied. Anderson windows are not inexpensive but the service and quality outweigh the price, without question. Although I will never need to replace another window in this house :), I will absolutely contact Jim and Anderson should I have needs at another house in the future.

Very nice windows. The installers did not put enough spray foam around the windows and did not do a good job on the cedar siding they had to install the siding is bowing made several calls to Anderson get the same thing from each person I talk too. They all say they will call right back and never do. It has has been 3-4 months since they ordered more cedar siding they all tell me they have to call the warehouse to see if it came in then will call me have not had 1 phone call back. It does not take this long to get cedar siding. I am going to call again rain is getting behind the siding.If I do not get help I am contacting my attorney

Our representative, Clark Mortensen, was incredible. He was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. We never felt pressured but he did make sure we knew about all the saving opportunities we could take advantage of the day of our appointment. That was very helpful since many decisions needed to be made regarding what items we might want to purchase from Anderson vs those of another company.

I attempted to get info on picture windows. I began on website. Pop up window asks if I need help . I said yes. They tell me they need all my info (name,address,email, just to talk to me. I reluctantly give them info to find out Colin doesn’t work for them and he could not assist other than contacting company for me. I said no when realized Colin middle man. He refused to delete my info and said he would have Anderson contact as soon as possible even though I repeatly asked not be contacted and info deleted. With customer service like that it doesn’t matter how great products are. Seems crazy to pay another company to just transfer contact info on your own website. Discourage former customer.

We are going to use Anderson for our window needs. Steve W was very professional and helped with design ideas. Was able to see what every window in our house would look like before install. Big selling point is the composite window, amazing product. Look forward to getting this project started!

We purchased an older home with original Anderson windows. When the time came for new windows we contacted Renewal by Anderson to have them quote the replacements. Teresa is wonderful, personable and very knowledgeable about the products. It was very clear to us that the quality of the windows make the cost, although higher than others, was well worth it. It reinforce that point, the installations (we are now on phase three) were smooth, professional and they left any area they were working on cleaner than it was before they arrived. Jeremy B visited us today and was very detailed in explaining the door install and what was involved. Very professional presentation.****Edited 12AUG21The installation was/is a disaster. The doors were installed and two were scratched in the process. One door was replaced today and in the process another stationary door was damaged - the outside frame around the door (outside) was also dented. Molding was re-installed and caulk was scraped off the door frame (inside) in the process removing factory paint. A keyed lock was supposed to be installed on door install - still waiting for this.I’ll update this more later.

Really great experience from beginning to end. We had 10 of our 20 of our old, wooden, single pane windows done in this first phase and absolutely love the new ones. I first met with a salesman who, after finalizing the plan, passed me over to a customer care representative who kept me updated on the manufacture and delivery of the windows, and then finally on to the installers. The crew came at 7:30am and by 1pm were completely gone. I cant emphasize how great the installers were -- they left absolutely no mess and the windows are perfect. At the end the foreman came around checking the windows, making minor adjustments to latches and handles: that attention to detail is great to see in a day when most work is done quick and sloppy. We love these windows so much were already discussing the second phase of windows. This is truly a world of you get what you pay for -- these might not be the cheapest windows you can find, but between the warranty, the materials, and the installation, its worth every penny.

Renewal by Andersen replaced all our windows plus our front doors. We did it in 2 phases - 10 windows last year, the remaining 8 windows + the doors this year. They were able to replace our windows with custom windows (vinyl on the outside, wood on the inside) to match the look and feel of the rest of our home. We have noticed a difference in our heat/cool bill. The door added an elegance to the front of our home that our neighbors noticed immediately. The persons we worked with were very professional. They listened to what we wanted and helped us find windows and doors that fit our our needs. They kept us up-to-date at every stage. It was a great pleasure working with people who treated us in such a friendly manner. Any concerns we had, were addressed immediately. I cant say enough nice things about them. I highly recommend them for both window and door replacement.

The replacement windows are amazing. We have saved on heating and cooling and enjoy a much more comfortable inside environment.
