We frequent this store at least once a month. I used to think that spices at the grocery store were acceptable, but when we tried the quality spices here, grocery store seasonings just dont cut it anymore!The quality of these spices are top-notch, and you get to decide how much you want. The owners are lovely and also have an olive oil/vinegar selection thats simply phenomenal. If you enjoy cooking or baking, this place is worth a stop!

Ive been shopping at Savory since they opened their doors at their original location. I followed them after their unannounced move as well. For years I have been happy with the service and the products. But, since the move the quality and consistency of their spices has dropped. The photo is Asafetida from one month to the next. The spice side is always half empty. When I go looking for something its either discontinued or out of stock. Also what I order isnt always what I get home with. Most recently I purchased sweet paprika. I got home and used it and it was hot paprika. I understand its an honest mistake. But they seem more interested in slinging olive oil than spices. Most of the spice side is now filled with spice rubs and seasoning salt. I would advise order from the corporate website and just letting them close the shop in favor of their olive oil bar.

Lovely shop! Wonderful selection of spices, oils and vinegars from around the world. The owner was very friendly and helpful and let us sample several delightful vinegars. I didnt know there were so many flavors. Opens up a whole new cooking world. My daughter and I bought several spices and oils and will return. One of the nicest shops Ive been in.

I absolutely love the spices from this store. We took a ride to friendly center and found the store was gone. We were shocked and decided to Google it. Found the store has moved. We took a ride down to the new location. What a mess trying to get in and no place to park. Most business are reserved parking. This is a horrible location. Never got a parking place. Ended up coming home without out spices. I love your products but I wont be coming back here. That are is just a mess with traffic and parking is absolutely horrible. You lost this customer here. Key to any business is the proper location. Since I cant park my vehicle my days with Savory Spice is done. It was nice while it lasted.

Love the shop. The only place that Ive found Carolina Reaper pepper. And their fajita spice is amazing. Oh and dont forget to pick up some dry rub.You can try everything and can purchase just what you need assuring that your creations are fresh. Great staff and customer service.Hate that they moved, just a little out of the way now, but worth the trip

Comedy of errors today! Between not finding my order, getting interrupted when filling my order to bringing the wrong size and wrong flavor it took 25 min to pick up my called in order! Hopefully Covid is to blame!

Just purchased “Everything Bagel Spice.” I buy all of my spices for a long time. However, the female owner is extremely rude and disrespectful, the kids would refer to her as a “Karen.” The male owner is quite nice. Probably should keep Karen in the back and away from customers.

Fresh spices are like fresh pasta, they make all the difference in the world. SSS has an amazingly friendly staff and a great selection of spices. Heads up, this is a great place to add that missing something to your cooking. It’s like chemistry for food. Check this place out.

Lots of single spices, as well as unique blends. Prices are usually much better than grocery store spices.

They help you find what spices you may need for different dishes and the prices are fair. Love their different spice blends they have every month or so to change up the recipes that can be made.

If you have shopped at Savory - I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!! The SAFC location has an amazing staff and selection. I love trying different herbs and spices from them. Being able to get just the amount you want/need means unique herbs arent going to go to waste. I also find their prices to be competitive with the national brands from the grocery stores.

Long time customer at Friendly Center. Night Mare parking lot. New location, Restraunt next door so no parking in the small plaza . Waited 20 minutes for 1 parking space in front of building that never came available. Vehicles honking there horn. Vehicles backing up in front of exit traffic. NIGHTMARE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!

On the hunt for some special items and the woman working here was so full of knowledge even though they didnt have what we needed. She took the time to talk to us, give us advice on where we might be able to find what we were looking for. She was closing up for the evening and didnt mind taking a few extra minutes for us.

This place is amazing - the spices are very fresh and you can really tell a difference when you cook with them. The proprietors are helpful but not pushy, and made recommendations when we asked. The chocolate sugar is amazing in coffee, you wont regret trying it.

They have everything you need, and now they have some great Olive ois and Baslmics !

Visited for the first time on Small Business Saturday in 2017! Wooooow. The aromas of spice and herbs fill the air as well as your nostrils as you walk in. If there is a fresh spice, meat rub, or herb you can think of, this place most likely has it.

This pains me to write this review. We were coming thru Greensboro and decided to stop off at one of our favorites stores for some spices. When we arrived we found the store had closed and there was no notice on the door if it was just closed or if they had moved. We googled and found it had just moved. We loaded the new address into our GPS and were on our way. The new location proved to be more difficult to access as its off a busy road, we had to uturn to get to it and the parking lot was very challenging. The spots were tight and the location is now in a less than desirable older strip of shops. We couldnt even find a spot to park as some cars were taking up 2 spots cause parking is challenging here. Some spots up close were reserved for other businesses. It was a nightmare so we decided to leave without even going in. Im very saddened at the choice of the new location. Sadly, we wont be coming back. This review has nothing to do with the people, who were always wonderful, or of the quality of their products, cause they would get a 5 star. This review is just about the location.
