Thank God for anything other than Lowes. Extremely well organized. Since going there for the first time two weeks ago, we have been at least four times. The guys are super chill and seem to have an actual sense of humor. I just might get my chainsaw blades sharpened by them too. Great place.

Its one of my favorite hardware stores in Greensboro. Its so quick to get in and out and they almost always have what you need. Not to mention that they are a Stihl dealer.

Masks required an all employees wore masks. The gentleman that assisted me greeted me as soon as I came in the door. He took me to the area to show me what I was looking for. I chose a trimmer. He filled it with gas and tried it out to make sure it worked. A second young man checked me out, explained the warranty and loaded my purchase in my vehicle. This was excellent customer service. This store is not in the county in which I live; however, will drive back to this particular store for hardware services because they were so nice and helpful. Again, excellent customer service.

I took two push mowers in for repairs on Tuesday March 16, 2021 and had them both back fully functional on Thursday March 18, 2021 at a very reasonable cost. I highly recommend them for repairs. I’m trusting them with my riding mower this weekend.

Great small local hardware store. They have some of the hard to find things that the big box stores dont want to carry. Friendly staff and easy access makes this a great place to shop.

Didnt find what I was looking for but the staff was very knowledgeable and courteous to help me find what I needed.

Love this Ace Hardware great friendly and knowledgeable people every time I go in the only thing I have as complaint would be please actually stay open your scheduled hours theres so many times Ive came by and youll have clothed a half an hour one hour early

These guys go over and beyond to help you. They do have a smaller inventory than the big box stores but it is nice to have someone there to help you figure things out..

Always seem to have what I need in a pinch. Pretty cool, laid back atmosphere. Store employees are always nice.

For many decades, this hardware store has always had whatever I need (and everything that I didnt know that I needed until I browsed through the store). The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and will have you in and out in a flash - no more wandering up and down acres of aisles trying to find what you need. They also offer trustworthy repair services for small-engine lawn care equipment.

It is relatively small, certainly in comparison to the big box stores but it had what we needed AND THE STAFF WAS HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY.

Super excellent customer service and really affordable prices. These sort of places are sooooooo rare to find these days. Support local and spend your money here. They deserve it!

Jimmy was awesome found everything I needed. Then went above and beyond to color my cords so I would do it correctly.

My brother and I have never written an online review, but due to the service we received from Tim, Greg and Darrell, we felt we needed to. We brought our mower in to be fixed and they went above and beyond to get us back to work in a timely manner. From the sound of the mower, Tim knew it was 1 of 2 things and he worked hard to figure out which one it was to ensure our safety and ability to get back to work quickly. This was not our first visit, we have always been treated respectfully, but it was the most personal and certainly not our last visit.

Excellent selection. Has what you need. My only issue is the Fox News constantly on tv. Lots of better options.

When I walked in the store, I was immediately greeted and met by a young man who asked if I needed help. Being one of the customers that I hate, i said yes, but i didnt really know what I needed, some kind of plumbing tool. He walked me over to the plumbing section and we settled on a basin wrench. He opened the package and showed me how to use it. After trying to get my old faucet out for 2 hours, this tool was exactly what I needed and I finished the job within 15 minutes. Just goes to show that with the right tool and a knowledgeable salesperson, the task goes a lot smoother. In my frustration, I didnt notice the sales persons name, but you know who you are. You saved the day and my sanity. Thanks!

Good store

I was pleasantly surprised with the service I received here. They treated me more like a neighbor than a customer. The key they made for my 1967 MGB worked perfectly. Im going to be doing more of my shopping here rather than the BORG.

These guys are awesome. Always helpful. So much more personallblenand knowledgeable than what you get at the big box stores. I have some plumbing issues on my basement and they helped me figure out the problem and find all the parts to fix it. Saved me $300 on a plumber. Had Management out in the parking lot cutting the PVC pipe for me. I would give 6 stars if I could.

Very knowledgeable. I was prepared to buy a chip car key, so I could lock my car while it warms. But the great guy that helped me asked me Do you want a key just for your car door instead? I had no idea that could be done. I talked to another Ace hardware location & the dealership Niether even mentioned this option. TRULY APPRECIATE HIM

A little bit of everything. I ordered online with free site to store. They close early so check the hours before going. Refurbished yard equipment and a small engine repair shop. Good, old-fashioned hardware store.

As a landscaper I depend on these guys all the time to get quick, reliable repair work done. They are friendly and helpful every time. I get my equipment back and it’s been completely cleaned and serviced to perfection. I recommend them all of the time

Great customer service! DJ explained what he thought was wrong with my mower, and he was spot on. I dropped it off around 11:00 AM on a Saturday, got a call before 1:30 PM saying it was ready for pickup - and the cost was about half of what it could have been. Fantastic experience especially after going to Farmers and STI who acted like they didnt want my business. Highly recommend!

The Sentry Home Mart is a great little hardware store! I often find things I need there which I cannot find in the big box home supply stores. Their inventory of hardware and supplies for plumbing, electrical work, painting, and more is very well selected and presented. You are likely to find just what you need, without having to navigate through a lot that you dont need. And a bonus is the well stocked Stihl Chainsaw section in the back of the store, they have all you need including quality Stihl chainsaws and chainsaw supplies and accessories, as well as other Stihl power outdoor equipment. So all in all, the Sentry Home Mart is a great little hardware store, and they pack a lot in a relatively small and convenient space!

Integrity in sales still exists. Today I received the best and most honest customer experience ever. Ive been to a few Ace vendors. There are good and some really not so good. This location is great. They steered me away from what I didnt need and directed me to exactly what I did need. There wasnt an upsale but a lateral financial move. Most places want to direct you to the item that is only a little more bang for your buck. Thankfully that was not the case today. Im am glad I made the trip, passing by many other big box options. #localisbetter

I took a leaf blower in for repair. Told the man I talked to that I did not see any point in spending $75-80 for repair since you can get a new one for around $100. He told me the basic service would be $50 and if it was more, I would get a call with the estimate. I paid a $25 deposit which means for basic service, the cost should have been another $25. Got a call couple days later saying it was ready. Went to pick it up and they charged me $51 + $25 deposit for basic service. Wont be back.

Stopped by for something really small, and was treated like family or a person purchasing a much larger item. The staff knew what they were talking about and were able to direct me appropriately. More hardware stores should take notes from their service.

Do not order anything through the store. You have to pay for it in full when it Is ordered and when it does not come in and it is out of stock at the warehouse . They will not refund your money .They have a no return policy on special orders, but you don’t have you item to return and they have your money and will not give you a delivery date on your order.After the owner return from vacation my money was returned and he was very apologetic .

I was hoping for better service than you get at the big box hardware stores. Instead, what I got was a botched re-screening job. When I called to complain, all I got was defensiveness and obvious lies. Moreover, they refused to fix the problem. Lesson learned; I will never go back there again.
