I went to pick up 2 phones at this store. I approached one of the people on the floor and said that I was there to pick up 2 phones. He looked at me and not sure if it was because of what I was wearing or the color of my skin, but he proceeded to ask me, “ARE YOU AN UBER OR SOMETHING ?” I looked at him and with a serious face responded, “no, they are my own.”You could tell he was thrown off by my response and quickly went on to ask for my name and what I was picking up (which is the usual procedure EVERY SINGLE TIME I’ve picked up a purchase at an apple store). The person in the middle of the store kept staring at me as I was waiting for the phones and he approached another team member and said something and this one quickly came to check on me and said if I needed anything. What a shame!!
They do not have good Genius Bar anymore. Always in rush, no real care about customers, no real or deep knowledge. Looks like just a formality.10 - 15 minutes per customer. On a scale 1 to 10 it is definitely 1 compare with used to be service.
Super friendly, and repaired my laptop within 48 hours and under the price quoted. I only marked down because i was giving different information by each rep that i talked to
My Mother went in to buy a new iphone and the sales associate and manager were extremely rude and condescending. Definitely not friendly to non Greenwich individuals.
If I could Id give zero stars. Went there looking to buy a new computer and the person who was supposed to help me, wasnt helpful at all!! Could not answer any of my questions, was rude, and told me to buy online just because. Instead, went to the one at the Sono mall and in 20min got out there with a brand new laptop.
Major decline in service and made to feel like a high-security area. I genuinely felt uncomfortable walking into the Apple store this month and last month. Usually it’s crowded yeah, and not all that welcoming on its face, but the staff are nice and helpful. Usually. The last two visits, it’s felt like I’m under watch in case I’m going to cough on everyone or steal the store. Or at the very least like some folks mistreat food delivery people. Nevermind I, like most folks who come to the Greenwich Apple store have dropped several K with Apple. This is literally the only store in a very wealthy town that has this obscene level of security. It makes people feel uncomfortable, and I’m certainly not inclined to go there if I don’t have to. Please rethink how the Apple store presents itself to Greenwich. I can’t imagine it’s not oppressive for the staff as well.
Busier than Santa on dec 24tg
Worst service ever I have faced in an apple store. They made me wait 40 min to just to buy an iPhone. Every time I asked it was 10 more minutes...in the end their solution was I should buy it online! Why the heck do you have a store open?
Horrible service. I have an 11 pro experiencing battery issues- I brought it in and the tech at the Genius Bar told me there is nothing she can do I have to wait for the next iPhone update and see if that fixes the problem. In my settings under battery it says “service” so I asked for a new battery and she said that wouldn’t help. Then I asked for a new phone since I am still under warranty she said no. So I left with no resolution to my problem. When I got home I called Apple and spoke with a senior advisor who told me she had never heard of this having to wait for an update and said that since the phone said needs service she needed to service it. She issued me a new phone on the spot. Would not recommend this location the tech sent me away and did not want to help me.
Great service. Taking very strict and safe measures for Covid. Just make sure you book ahead for an appointment.
Wasnt a bad experience but just downright odd!! Felt like I was entering the FBI headquarters. Greeted outside by 2 security guards who quizzed me on whether I had an appointment then temperature check then greeted by 2 employees at the door who scanned my barcode for my purchase and asked for ID. Once through that checkpoint I was taken to the back to stand on a taped line on the floor. Then next employee asked for the same info the first one just asked for then once I cleared that test another employee came out of the back with my adapter gave it to the employee that looked up my purchase which I told her what it was already. She double, triple checked then I was allowed to have it and was walked out of the store by another employee out another doorIm exhausted !!! By the way the store was basically empty with Employees just standing around. Its definitely overkill on the policies !! Felt like I was doing something wrong. These are strange times that we live in but even stranger at Apple!!
I love this Apple location! They are incredibly helpful and nice. My issue took over an hour to resolve, and they were super competent, patient and efficient. Highly recommend.
Expensive. But then I stop to think how many hours a day I use my Iphone, I learn that the price is more than fair. I mean they might give better price, and earn less, but for me and my phone which is both my fun and work tool, it worth every cent.
It was my first time here to pick up an iPad Air. The place was clean and followed Covid-19 rules by maintaining social distancing and taking my temperature at the door. However, once in, the little service I got was rude and abrupt. I felt like I was being helped by the local high school bully/jock who didnt want to work. Or maybe he just didnt want to help the woman on a rainy day wearing jeans and a hoodie. Sorry kid, maybe you missed my Rolex, but I can afford to shop here. It will be the last time I shop at Greenwich Apple. Im done with white privilege.
Good people. very helpful.
Very nice technicians.
I get the nature of COVID and I applaud Apples serious approach. But it wouldnt hurt to have a little more pleasant customer service when turning people away... I spend a lot of money with Apple and you should remember that.
Alaways a great place for support
The lady in the front from protective services was rude! The manager Mike wouldn’t let me exchange an iPhone (still boxed) for another iPhone. They only let me return the item. They said I have to buy the iPhone online and pick it up in store. It doesn’t make any sense. Worse apple store I’ve been to! Don’t come here you’ll be disappointed like I was.
Clean, not too crowded and staff its really organized and helpfull
Really useful and helpful employees and keep the place quite sanitize
Greenwich Avenue is a substandard Apple store, known for its inadequacy at fixing computers and a rush to replace and upsell. Stamford was the honest store. It has now moved to Norwalk. A few years ago, Greenwich said I required a $2,500-$3,000 laptop replacement. I took it for a second opinion to the Stamford store, where they say it only needed a simple fix-- covered by warranty--no -charge. I returned recently with a different laptop only because of the pandemic. Simple fix, but they broke the laptop. Now theyre denying they did.
IHighly recommend this apple store! Great service! 👍
After dealing with Apple for 50 days after upgrading to an iPhone 11 Max Pro and was promised a $150 credit for my iPhone 7+ I went to the Grenwich store and actually turned in the phone and received $130 in cash because the original Apple store that lied to me also failed to document the credit for the upgrade. Again ppl were reasonable and LISTENED YO THE CUSTOMER.
😘
Incredibly fast, I ordered a phone to pickup there and they had it ready in 30 minutes! Would recommend to anyone.
I dont know if it was the pandemic, but, somehow the staff isnt as lively as Apple staff usually are. I understand to stay 6 ft apart because they need to stay negative to continue working. I checked in at the front door with a gentleman. That was quick & I waited patiently until they can free up space at the genius bar. Once seated, I waited patiently for someone to help me with my laptop that I made an appointment for. It seemed they forgot about me even though I wasnt in a rush to wait my turn. One man (being VERY careful) approached while he was working with someone farther down the table. He wanted to know what the issue was. I told him my computer is flickering. (I wanted to do a diagnostic test and get my laptops feet replaced) I felt a little put off because I didnt really want to work with him. Looking for someone younger and fresh to understand my concerns. He did the diagnostic after I asked. He suggested multiple options (that included not spending a dime at apple) to fix my issues. So I didnt. I met with their sales rep Danny to trade in an ipad, (note: trade-in online at apple.com - better trade in value than in-store) He was very helpful even though he didnt have the item I wanted in stock. I really wanted to purchase it there. So I didnt spend any money today, but got some answers though.... I guess. Overall, somewhat a wasted trip to the apple store.
Not professionally and kindly the operator in front door, always so rude, bad bad servisse always !!
Worst experience here. Tried to trade in my old phone. Reception didn’t even ask for name. After 20 mins. I went back and ask him how much longer need to wait. He said . I will send someone when they are available. But there were many staffs walk by .
Really poor customer service at the store, especially Store leader Lani - poor communication, low level of customer service & definitely not worth being called a store leader!
Apple Greenwich is good, but slow. They try hard to make their service faster, but sometime they just cant handle the many customers. I needed to spend 2 hours here. Longer than planned.
Their primary job seems to be pumping out product and their tech support is fragmented and inadequate. The person assigned to your problem disappears into the back room leaving you hanging then sends someone else who now is dividing their time between two other customers. The manager is bald blue eyed cold fish who utters stock phrases about understanding your frustration. Ultimately my new iPhone just purchased a day ago problem was turfed to Apple care support who they promised would be researched fully and they would call me. It wasn’tI would avoid the Greenwich store unless your expectations are very low
This is one of the better Apple stores. If you get lucky you may find a parking spot right in front. The store is not excessively busy so it is easy to get help from the staff as soon as you walk in.
I had an issue with my Apple ID on my 11 pro, exchanged with no questions in 10 mins was outside. Super fast. Thx.
I walked in and had what I believed to be simple questions about functionality and settings. I started to explain to the reception person that logs your name and even though there werequite a few people waiting at the Genius Bar, an associate that heard my issue decided it was easy enough to help me without an appointment! He did a great job of solving everything in less than ten minutes!
Rude employees
Jessica colon is an awesome person great personality and very resourceful with questions and very quick with nolage of items in the store wish there were more like her helped with transactions and was just awesome give a raise know no really right now
Coming from someone whos a hardcore Android and Windows user, I must say Im very pleased with my experience with the Apple Store on Greenwich Avenue. Very professional staff and quite efficient in assisting me with my sons tablet. Kudos!
11/12/2017I walked into the store to have my disabled iPhone wiped, at first reception told me I had a 3 hour wait and so I sat down, few minutes later I went back to reception ( at this point agent was changed )I had an old phone and wanted to let me know that, upon hearing what the issue was he got someone to help me in five minutes, ( Shaun / Sean ), I am sorry I did not catch the names of the others who assisted me, but I do know the faces should I need the help in the future, in all I was in and out of there in one hour total. I could not thank them enough . And I even found a easy parking thanks to my mom who came along for the ride.Keep up the excellent work guys....
Very well appointed store. Excellent service.Parking is difficult to impossible depending on day and time.
Great store....not enough parking
Quick and excellent service. Friendly Genius bar.I went to Stamford Apple store and my problem with the charging cable was not solved, actually i felt like they dont want to solve it, then just 10min away I decided to give a try and it was a good decision.I just spent 5min in the store, they understood that the apple cable was not good and changed it.These people are great!!
Both the staff we interacted with have been great. Great work guys.
Quick service, helpful employees
Service is slow as molasses. We literally went in for a laptop battery replacement with 10 simple screws and a 30 min procedure at best. It took them two hours to do! Plus they didnt want to do it initially - told us some BS about school starting and having to sent it out for one week. We got there early and left late. Next time I have to do it myself!!
Great customer service and employees! Answer any question you have about Apple products and how they compare to others! They will tell you which case is the best. Told me tech21 cases are better than the apple ones! They tell you the truth!
Great place and great service. Might have to wait a bit but for the help its worth the wait. Meanwhile you wait for their text message for your turn to see any specialist you can grab some coffee or tea etc... Of course at the other locations.
With a great lack of business acumen, Manager Michael F provides ABOMINABLE Customer Service at the Greenwhich store. He wielded his managerial power to do harm rather than good towards a devoted Apple customer who was there to repair a device and purchase a new one. Over $150, he showed me “who’s boss”. Bravo Manager Mike...just hope you never get fired from this job because passive aggressiveness is not a desirable skill set in the job market.
Great place, awesome service, and cute staff! It will make you feel like youre on a date but youre actually talking about computer stuff and resolving storage issues. Rad!
Very good and knowledgeable staff. Best communication. Great place, awesome service. One of the best Apple store I would say.
What can you say about Apple - simply the best in electronics
Amazing service and very cute looking staff! Purchased some things and got detailed attention from a nice girl. Later, the other employee was more generic but helpful fining the Apple TV.
Bright and open layout. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating, but I had to find and approach associates to ask for help on my own. I felt pretty invisible before stopping someone to make my presence known while waiting for an interview. Apparently the person I checked in with also didnt communicate very clearly that I was waiting, since they evidently thought I hadnt shown up despite speaking to 2 people and waiting there for over an hour... The service I observed with customers in that time was friendly and helpful, but seemed very slow. I was definitely not the only one sitting and waiting for someone to assist with whatever they were there for. However, the ambiance is very nice and everyone was very pleasant, even if I felt invisible much of the time in between.
Excellent service. They couldnt fix my Macbook Air; ended up upgrading me to a much more expensive Macbook Pro for Free. Will never go back to the Westchester Mall Apple store.
Apple does good with giving its customers a welcoming environment.
I pretty much use apple products for everything and i havent been let down yet.
I went to try to buy 2 computers and I guy that was outside ask me what do I need and I told him I’m looking to get the computers he’s responds was to call a number and they can tell me the different between the computers then he look at me and was like I can’t help you today and the people in front of me didn’t have appointment and they went in the store but he just treat me like I had no money and didn’t let me in the store ... I felt discrimination is not a good place ...
Great customer service, very knowledgeable staff.
Absolute incredibly fresh. The bread here is amazing. Todays dish will be applewood smoked ham and Swiss tomatoes, onion on rye
What can you say, Apple has mastered customer service and knows how to deliver! While they rarely are short on helpful employees, it is a clone of the master plan. So long as you want what they have, they can get you in & out in a jiffy!
The service is great, from appointment to walk ins. They are very friendly and kind.
Very good location and great service.
I went in to get my broken macbook looked at and he looked up my computer said it says its serviceable but thats weird because generally models as old as yours are too old to be serviceable. And i said oh yeah wow i actually had this serviced before too. And he sharply replied yeah but this model is considered too old and then proceeded to tell me to i could get a thousand-something dollar repair but he suggested buying a new computer and then said how about i get a sales rep for you, then left, and while Im not stunned or horrified I do think you could say that it was pretty underwhelming, and I would probably recommend going to different branch for this kind of thing.
My phone was not coming on and was told by a young girl at the genius bar that it was broken and I need to pay $ 120 to get it fixed. To get a second opinion before I paid anything I took the phone to an AT&T store and the guy held the home button and power button for 5 secs and the phone came on. Good job AT&T.
Always great! People there are always helpful and very friendly 👍👍
Good service, perfect location, huge store, not busy.
Smh. Dont know but my experience compare to the people I see is bad, when there 2 times in one day n still waiting to purchase a laptop. I was told to wait, n several people after me got assistant, I am still in Que.They seem very..., I feel less than using my new barclay card, n this is another reason why I wont use it n stick with DELL.Stamford mall apple caters for all!!!
Very helpful and friendly customer service. I dont use apple products but I was picking something up for a family member and I was able to get in and out quickly on my visit.
Called the store all day and no one picked up. Wanting to make a purchase. Reached Apple Support by phone, but they were not able to reach the store either from 11am- 5:50pm -No one picks up the phone.
Took a while to get someone to attend to. Didnt have all the color choices. Wont take my Samsung mobile pay for payment which is really stupid
This is where you go to be “offered” a replacement phone for an unknown defect for $400. When you challenge this - stating this issue is new and unique (the nfc chip failed.) The store manager quizzed me on “why didn’t you get AppleCare..... when you buy a car, you get a new car insurance don’t you? You should have done the same thing here.” A lot more to this story but tdlr, whatever you believed Apple was, it isn’t.
Good staff, helped me with my issues in a timely manner.
Very helpful at the genius bar but the wait time is crazy unacceptable and the phone wait time to get an appointment is even crazier and then when you arrive they dont have your name on the schedule. lol!.
Great service. Very easy. In and out in 10 min.
This is a very good Apple Store. The problem is parking. It took my 40 minutes of circling to finally find an open spot.
The service is great here and the people always help me out with whatever the need is. From cases to headphones to troubleshooting they always are great. These othe bad reviews are just written by people who blow up over one tiny problem. This store is a little small and the parking is sometimes difficult but this Apple Store is like any other, a nice place to be.
Good staff and services but they close very early. So if you work 9am to 5pm like most people, this Apple store isnt for you.
I only gave it 1 star because there is nothing less. The customer service in the store is poor. I had to deal with two customer service representative in this store this afternoon, and the only reason I made my purchase is because the person whom I went with wanted the iPad for her granddaughters birthday the following day. The customer service personnel was rather rude and very unprofessional!
It’s great if you have time to go on a weekday afternoon but if your free time is only weekends, it’s a mad house. After being told it was a 2 hour wait just to shop for a laptop last Sunday, I showed up right when they opened the following Saturday. Bought a MacBook, easy. But upon starting it up at home it froze and customer support recommended I take it straight back and exchange it. So now I’m back at Apple Greenwich on a Saturday afternoon and I’m told I need to wait an hour and a half to return a defective computer they sold me this morning. Either double the staff here or allow online appointment scheduling to shop. This is absurd.
Apple messes with older model batteries on iPhones 6s plus and then this store turns you away. They had no customers in there and said without appointment they cant help you. What’s the point in having a local store. They close in a half hour with no customers and turn you away. If i can sue i would. For people that are busy and work with their phones, we cant wait 3 days for a damn appointment.
After visiting another Apple Store for a repair and spending over 6 hours to find out they couldnt help with my old Mac repair in the store I decided to stop by the Greenwich store to get another opinion. The team is helpful and knowledgeable. They walked me through my repair and helped me get set up with different wiring and connections for the new USB C connectors on my new MacBook Pro. They are thorough and thoughtful, patient and understanding. Im helpful for all their help today!
Great service at the Genius Bar.
Terrible operation. We just wanted to buy a watch we have decided already. We were kept waited 30minutes, and still could not buy. They had only two employees who need to take customers in order whether it’s just consultation or question, or purchase. As a result, you can’t pay and buy unless all the people in front of you who came without any decision spends long time chatting with only two employee. There were extra employee chatting each other at Geniius bar.
Great service and great people anything you need from apple is there.
Great customer service and speedy service.
They dont want to replace your phone, they make you go in circles and tell you that your phone has to be shipped to someone else? apple products are great but the apple store needs to improve customer service.
The customer service is really poor. For whatever reason the wait time at this Genius bar is 30m once you check in. Other stores seem to be much better prepared
Impressive place, more impressive people!
Worth the drive to avoid the Westchester! Super knowledgeable and efficient staff.
9/24/2017 edit to prior review: lowering rating from 4 to 2 stars due to worsened staff quality (especially Genius Bar) and still worsening parking challenges on lower Greenwich Ave.This location (and perhaps Apple more broadly) seem to be intentionally lowering level of support quality/store experience as they keep growing._________________The parking is impossible on Greenwich Ave and the accessories assortment is smaller than the city locations. But it sure is convenient having a local outpost. Core products and Genius Bar obviously identical to every other Apple Store.
The customer service person kept getting distracted and another kept on interupting our meeting. The staff there is not focused.
The service is great, friendly stuff
Quick and easy service. Nice store
My first experience at an Apple store. LOVED IT
Its an apple store lile every other, but less crowded. People here ate usually here buying and not browsing.
Knowledgeable sales people & very accommodating genus bar.
My husband & I was helped by BJ & David they taugh us alot how to navigate our apple devices & how to get alot of things done on our devices. They had answers to all of our questions. They were very knowledgeable of apple & their products as well is the features of our phone carriers. We were helped right away. I would recommend a family member or friend to visit this apple store. I had a great experience here.
Great location and layout, plus the store itself looks great. Comes with the standard Apple friendliness and a very knowledgeable staff.
Always find everything easily, and get help very quickly when I need it.
