I go here from time to time. More frequently during holidays. They will find your book at their other stores and have it brought to a convenient location. Their organization makes it easy to find what you want.

I went everywhere to get one of a book, but couldn’t get it because it was too pricey. I went here and I ended up walking out with more than 5books for less than $30. The environment is great and the books are very organized. I love lovee lovee it!

Just went to sell my books there, got 50 bucks cash which was 30 bucks more than I expected! They were super nice and professional. It took a lot of self control not to spend the money immediately because there is a HUGE array of titles here. This is like a Barnes and Noble except cheaper. Also very nicely organized and presented, the store is roomy and cozy at the same time. I will be returning after my paycheck and I hope the books I wanted are still there!

You can buy books at very reasonable prices. I use my kindle but sometimes I like having the book.

Stop Throwing Away Your Money! Selling to Half Price Books is CRAZY! Today, I brought 75 books and 40 CDs. They offered $25 total (21.7 cents per item). Some of the books are still used by a major University for their MBA program (i.e. they are current). Packed up and went to Goodwill; valued each item at only 10% of what I paid (discounted 90%). RESULT: $184.50 tax deduction - and it only took 5 minutes!!!

Great place for books at discount price can also find some cool views music from time to time sometimes overpriced and or once in awhile well find scratched items. But Ive have bought some great CDs there as well blocks they have all types for kids to adults. Also video games movies and other collectibles

Great variety for any book lover or reader. They even have comics and manga. As well as a selection of vinyl records and cds. Board games and video games. They have a little bit of everything here. If they don’t have a book they can try and get it in store for you.

Probably will never walk into a half Price books again after my experience. apparently they no longer believe that people are allowed to speak on their phones while in their store in this technological age. I was told to leave the store because I answered my phone. The lady was rude and claimed that there were signs although I did not see any while I was in the store. If you own a cell phone steer clear of half Price books.

I traveled an hour to visit this location after rave reviews from my boyfriend. I’m a naturally ditsy person and I dropped my mask in a mud puddle at Olive Garden just before we went to half price books. The clerk was so unbelievably rude about it. Management needs to review customer rights and service policies with their emoloyees. I am not an anti masker, just didn’t have one on hand. I was not offered a disposable or I would have happily put one on. I was told to leave immediately and treated like I walked in that btch with an active Covid infection and started coughing all over people. No, it was a simple mistake. This was about a week after the state mask mandate was lifted. I was shocked at this location’s customer “service” and I’ll never go back.

A nice shop with good product presentation. There are used books for sale, but most are new or like new condition. They have other non-book items for sale as well such as vinyl, cds, dvds, board games, comic books, video games etc. Not everything is exactly half price, some are even lower, so that is nice. The staff does a good job of keeping everything orderly.

It was okay. I was glad they had shopping carts and a restroom.

Any book store gets at least a 3 star. This store gets 4 because the staff are always nice.

Books books books, I usually go to the religious books. But if you need or want others, they have them and for very cheap. Even a dollar section.

I love half price books, they have tons of locations, and like others this place was clean and spacious but I feel their ability to help needs a bit of work. I asked a gentleman to help me find a book and he just pointed to a shelf and said it should be over there somewhere.... gee thanks it took me 10 more mins of searching the shelf and still couldnt find it. Maybe next time Im able to go someone might be able to tell me if they have it and show me where it was at exactly.

I enjoyed my time here. They have a wide assortment of first editions and some older material with a lot of character. The staff was friendly, fun and polite at just the right moments and were personable when discussing literature and other important aspects of lifes experiences. It felt like it was a different world when walking in and each time I remember my visit, I feel much more myself.

Good store, but they really need to clean their bathroom properly. See my pictures. Theres no reason their sink should have that much build up and it looks like their floor hasnt been mopped in years.

Me and my friend both sold movies and books which was around $200 in the real sale we about only got $14 don’t recommend going there if you’re going to sell something because they will give you an incredibly low price for your items

In case you didnt know, the payout for your used books is very low. I barely had enough to buy 1 overpriced used book for two shopping bags of paperbacks, and a bag of dvds. Otherwise, it is a nice place.

Im massively disappointed in all of the liberal choices and the lack of conservative badges, stickers, etc. The books are always fairly priced and we love taking our children here. But we are conservative and dont like having our kids see our president (or anyone) made fun of for being who they are.

Lots of great finds in every genre. I have purchased rare books, sillier books, books on theology, and hard to find movies here. You always find something interesting that you didnt expect when you stop in. Highly recommended

Theres always something neat to pick up here. I dont think Ive ever managed to leave without a couple books for myself, or as gifts. Plus, their growing selection of nerd culture items is fun. They honestly have way more than books. A surprisingly big selection of pop vinyl figures, retro video games and consoles, and board games are all cool additions to the books/movies/music selection theyve always had.

Always super nice people and I love coming in and wandering for an hour seeing what they got. But the mask thing is getting to be a real hassle. I probably wont be back till those signs come off the door. Its killing their business too.

I have been coming here since l was a kid and have always loved it.The way it works is that most used books are 50% off their original sticker price (hence the name). They also have some new items like Pop Figures, bookmarks, and pretty journals.The sections are all pretty clearly labeled, and for its size its usually really clean and organized.I always meet friendly staff in there at the registers.They also have CDs, records, and loads of DVDs. Definitely recommend for all your media needs.

Not very many new political book. Prices add up fast. Lady employee was super nice! Need more clearance books. Nice place.

Selling comic books. I took a stack about 40 comic books up there. There was about 5 in the stack worth about 5-7 bucks each and rest was dollar books. They lady that took them to make me offer called me up after a few minutes. So I knew there was no way they looked at them. They just counted them and that was it. Only offered $6 for all 40 comics. I know when the go to resell you better believe they will look up value then. I would rather donate to goodwill or a trash can then have a offer from these people. Kind of crooks to my comics at ten cents a book regardless of value then have your comic book guy price them at market value. That’s far from fair it’s dishonest.

Good selection of books and movies. Decent selection of comics, records and cds. They also sale journals and some memorabilia. They buy the same stuff that they sell so if youre hard up for cash they give a decent price on most things. Staff is always friendly and helpful great atmosphere a good place to blow off some time too.

One of my Top 5 Stores in Indianapolis. I could spend hours roaming around the store each time I get to Indiana. They have very friendly and knowledgeable staff that will gladly help you. The prices you cant beat!! sure theyre not all new, most arent, but they are always in good condition or usually better. Super helpful people. Daughter wanted a book that was in the new section and they told me they had it used in great shape for a cheaper price. Also did not have a book I wanted in the store so they are getting it from another store. Your store is awesome.

The sheer amount of books amazed me. I could have lost myself in that store. The employees were incredibly helpful and nice. The board games and puzzles were great too. The sales they have are really tempting, Im actually traveling all the way back to Indy next month to shop at the two dollar sale. Just found my favorite bookstore!

I absolutely love Half Price Books. They have everything you could ever ask for, and as a comic book and music nerd, it is heaven. The prices are spectacular, too! Would definitely recommend.
