The experience was bittersweet, it was an expensive repair that took a lot of time. I’m pleased that there’s a two year warranty on the parts and labor. I was told that the repair would cost right at 5K, it was nearly 4 hundred over the quoted amount. The staff are courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you.

It took months to confirm my 2013 Equinox had the high oil consumption issue. I did have a difficult time reaching my contact, but I understood, COVID-19, changes in staff and short handed. Went there to get some work done on my truck, had to wait two weeks to schedule but it was worth it, work done in 45 minutes, was told at least an hour. Service manager was very cordial and helpful. Truck returned the way I gave it to them, did not adjust stereo or seats. Thankful for that!! Met a sales person Leonard Smith, very nice, polite, helpful person. Go see him if you wish to buy! I feel inclined to write a good review simply because my parents have been dealing with them for the past 10+ years. So they are apart of our family. The customer service is absolutely fantastic, but the price I paid for my service(almost 5k), I would not expect to leave the lot with my check engine light on - especially considering it wasn’t on when I took the vehicle in and they had my vehicle for two weeks. They’re working on it now as I type this, but it can be an inconvenient matter and raise a few doubts…..***update*** one thing I would like to add, they were accountable for everything and did not stop until they got the issues corrected.
On time, quick, they listen as you describe problem and knowledgeable with answers and recommendations.
Friendly service personnel. I hope they will fix my tailgate button issue and upgrade my radio/navigation software which they could not fix at the time.

Had an oil change scheduled appointment and left my vehicle there upon them opening. When I returned at the end of the day my vehicle had not been touched. I had to wait for a quick service oil change and was still charged full price. I complained and they only offered a $7 discount.
Casey was awesome. He stayed in constant contact with me and made sure that all of my options were made available to me and answered all of my questions. The entire team worked very well together and made sure that I got the best price for my dream vehicle!

I never have any suprise charges or items showing on my bill that I was unaware of and if something comes up during my services we had not discussed they come out to the waiting area and we discuss what they feel needs to be done, then or at a later time.

We have had our Cadillac serviced many times there and it has always been a pleasure. I purchased a 2020 suburban and the service done today with you. First of all no loaner?? We did not have before either but I feel when you have a new car and are put out for something not working its not the customers fault. We had to call 48 hrs after having the car to find out status! When I pick up car and see you dont even wash it! Always did with Cadillac. I goes to service and was then sent to cashier who took 10 minutes to notice me and then tells me I should of said something. 10 minutes looking for paperwork and keys and cannot find so he calls service dept. guy comes up and helps him look for keys and finds out it is in the Bs instead of Ds. I never had a thank you! Not an acknowledgement when I came in and waited 3 days for the repair and had to initiate the call first. Although your the only Chevy and Cadillac dealer in town I will take the vehicle somewhere else from now on. Guess business is good and you feel you dont need to treat people right!

I was just there to buy a part and they helped me install as well as repair other minor parts of my truck while they had it up. I needed a vehicle that could handle hauling a motorized wheelchair. Im no longer comfortable driving a SUV but I needed the space they offer. I have a Van that I use to haul my wheelchair but its low to the ground which causes the bottom of the lift to hit the road if theres a dip in the pavement plus the transmission is going out in it. I feel like now a vans not my best choice anymore. I talked to Jeff Russell and explained what we need in a vehicle. He suggested a Transverse because of its rear suspension is excellent in hauling big or small plus its roomy inside. That was very comforting to know plus Im sure the transmission is built to withstand hauling large objects. What a relief! Jeff was OUTSTANDING! He made me feel comfortable in my decision, not once did he pressure us, told us to take our time to make sure this was what we needed. It was a really easy decision especially since I know Gary Russ have a top notch service dept. My husband bought a Chev Avalanche about 10 years ago and he takes it to Bill to have it service and if theres any problems, Bill takes care of it for him. If my husband trust them then I do. Its very important to have a service dept that you trust. I know well enjoy our new vehicle for years to come.. This was my first visit to the dealership service department and I was totally impressed. The people who wrote up the service order were friendly and helpful, The waiting area was comfortable and well lit with a big screen tv. I was even impressed with the cleanliness of the restrooms. The wait time was minimal for the service to be completed.
Overpriced compared to other places in town. I will be going to Ford with my Chevy from now on.
They did get my car fixed in a timely manner and for that I give them 4 stars. The passenger side airbag light still comes on. There was a recall for that and they were suppose to fix the issue but less than a week later it still seems to be a problem with it.

Good ole buddy type dealerships, just a new building. Watch out for the Jim crow laws and colored water fountain and restrooms are out back. They dont have to warranty work nor do recalls because its up to red neck service manager if it needs to be done. People of color ( which is every human alive) Kevin Whitaker in Greenville or Malcolm Cunningham in Augusta are great professional and courteous dealerships!

I have always had my vehicles serviced at Gary Russ Chevrolet, and have bought vehicles from there. Their service department has been top notch. Today, their service manager stated my car was old and I was told it needed a new oil pan and plug. I explained it had always been serviced there, so if there was a problem, it came from my last service. The next story was that the oil pan had been hit on something. I drive my vehicle with respect, as I always have. Yes, the vehicle is not brand new. Not everyone can afford a new car, that is where keeping it maintained well comes in. It helps the life of the car expand. I do not appreciate the way I was treated by this employee and I will not return any of our vehicles there. I hope they do not mind losing business, due to the rude and unkind nature of the current service manager.

I had a appointment so I arrived 30mins early. My vehicle still didnt go back for service until 20mim after my scheduled appointment. Might have been 2 customers inside before I was, but their vehicles got out before my appointed time. Not to mention 2 customers came in after I did and one of them got in and out before my car was serviced. Which seems to happens a lot here. I have had SEVERAL incidents in which customers came after me but they vehicles were inspected and serviced BEFORE me. I would suggest The Ford place across the street, at least they get you in and out and even open on Saturdays.
Standard oil changes are very poorly planned. First come, first serve. Even with a 2 hr wait, if you need to go somewhere else they wont hold your place. Understandable if youre not back in time to lose your place but to not even attempt a plan for fairness and prompt service is plain poor planning. They claim youre buying a superior car, and you pay superior prices, then you are offered subpar services. In fairness this is the first time I have actually been treated rudely, and one representative saw my point and was kind but the other was not just set in his ways, but rude about it. There are other luxury cars out there who go out of their way to offer superior service (actually call you when estimate time open for service in 15 min-like BMW) Americans wonder why were slipping globally... for one, poor service= future poor sales.
