This was the best customer service experience I have had in a long time!! I went in for an estimate on some repairs I needed. From the first phone call to schedule to minute I drove away from their shop I was treated so so well! Their staff is friendly, honest and very accommodating!I had some damage I thought needed new paint. Joe spent 45 min buffing and cleaning until my car looked like new! No paint need. And the most amazing part? They didnt even charge me for their time!! They said word of mouth is what drives their business. Amazing! I will recommend this place to everyone and anyone!

Justin was my sales representative. He was awesome! He was very professional and personable, providing a detailed explanation for the entire process. He also got me set up in a rental car, taking care of all the details. Justin also kept me updated via the phone on the repair progress. When I picked up the van, everything had been professionally repaired and installed. They even cleaned the van, both inside and out. I gladly give my highest rating and praise to the crew at the Gresham location. I will definitely use them again.

So where to start... I got into my first crash on my way to my sisters wedding where I was to be the best man. It was deemed a minor crash by my insurance and this shop was recommended by Geico so I had my car towed here after the crash and I went to my sisters wedding. Huge mistake having it towed here. Right when I got there the following day they asked why I was there blah blah and they could see the money signs because it was a claim. Their first estimate was $10,700 for the picture below. And Geico got it down to $6,000 with labor. Once my insurance agreed to the cost to repair the vehicle I was given a 5 day estimated time period to repair my primary vehicle so I declined the rental offered because we had another car I could use until the car was repaired but that 5 days turned into a total time of 46 days to get my car repaired and they explained that things were missed multiple times and they didnt know how blah blah blah. They then said they planned on getting it prioritized and finished the following Tuesday but they didnt have the part they needed which showed in their inventory. They went to pull the part from their inventory and claimed it wasnt there and the hood they ordered was from a recycled part company and was damaged so we have to wait for Tonkin for a new one. After they said it would be another 8 days until it was done (its been about 42 days since the crash at this point) I accepted the rental car at their expense and they called me back within 1 hour and said the part magically appeared and it would be ready the next day.. such a funny coincidence. They never communicated with me and I was always the one calling them to ask on the status of my vehicle and still had to pay the deductible for it after this gigantic mess. Totally unacceptable business practice, horrible customer service and communication throughout and bad value for your money. Hire someone who knows what theyre doing and dont take your car here and save yourself a massive headache. I also think they were driving my car as they wiped the trip record after giving it to me and I recently had gotten the oil changed prior to the crash. My family and I moved out of gresham, and paid a car payment for the vehicle without using it for a whole month while it was at their shop for a grand total of 46 days (Aug 1st-Sep 16th). Dont take your car here.

The tech that did my estimate was so kind and attentive. They made us feel valued and treated us like they truly wanted our business.

If you’re looking for a Auto Body shop, I highly recommended Central Auto Body in Gresham. They took my car in right away, while other places didn’t have availability for a week. They kept us updated and were sooo friendly and caring and also washed and vacuumed our can upon returning it! Plus they did an amazing job on he car. It looks like a whole new car. My Husband and I have been to many places before, but by far this place is the absolute best😊

Justin was completely honest, called while I was there to get an idea on how long to get the parts, all while juggling the phone ringing off the hook. Havent had my work done yet, but definitely going with them❣

They were very friendly, helpful and explained everything to us that was going on. They even cleaned the inside of our car and vacuumed it which was amazing considering they only did work on the outside of the car. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We had a little fender bender on New Year’s Eve and the responsible party’s insurance directed us to Central Auto Body for repairs. They were friendly and helpful. Our car was repaired and they detailed our entire car inside and out and it was completed a day ahead of schedule! I feel like I have a new car again! I would definitely recommend this repair shop for your needs, they did go above and beyond!

I never write reviews, but I felt like I needed to write this! Someone hit my car so unfortunately I had to go to an auto body shop to get it fixed. They made my experience painless, they were so NICE!! Best customer service imaginable, they were quick and did an amazing job on my BMW. I will definitely be returning! We picked Central Auto Body without any experience or referral, so we really didn’t know what to expect. They were close to where we live. Why not. VERY HAPPY we found them! Very friendly, the body work was great, and they even detailed the car and dropped it off in our driveway after they finished ahead of schedule. I was nervous when I went to call Chris Car Care (who I had used for over a decade for all my paint/body repair needs) and saw that they were under new ownership and now called Central Auto Body. I decided to give them a shot and couldnt be more pleased with my experience. Joe was was professional and courteous throughout the whole process, and went above and beyond! Not only does my paint job on the back on my minivan look flawless, it was turned around in the timeframe he gave me, and he performed the work at a reasonable cost that matched the other quotes I received from other local body shops. Chriss car care is one of the very few car shops around that actually knows what there doing and cares about the quality of work they do. These guys r good about diagnosing properly and replacing the problem instead throwing parts and your money at the issue until something finally works! Theres a reason there parking lot is always full !!!!!!

Chris has a positive and genuine demeanor with his customers and is honest and fair with his prices! My door hinges were bent due to high winds, and I just needed for my door to open and close properly. I decided not to get any cosmetic work done. He was able to quickly get the door working properly, and made the cosmetic damage look almost unnoticeable. He was great to work with. I will never go anywhere else for my car needs!

My whole family goes here for any cars we have for everything. Literally from something as simple as popping a small dent in the fender out to more mechanical work such as starters or transmission work. Theyre honest and have prevented me from spending so much more money than I originally would have. I have taken my Corolla there every time I have had an issue there (besides electrical issues I had within the first couple weeks, but I didnt know better). With every car i have next, I will for sure take it into Chris. Jj is a delight too. Absolutely. A+.

Ive worked with Chris over a year, hes fixed my BMW m3 lots of times. The guy knows what hes doing Ill give him that but he will take advantage of you and your money, hes a thief in gloves. I always thought he was giving me good deals until my last experience, where I took In my cheap beater Toyota Prius and told him to do a hub change. This job is worth $200-300 at best if your doing both sides. Anyway, I told him to do a hub change. He calls me back, says tires are bald, its not the hubs that need changing its the tires. I told him no its the hubs, he said no its the tires. So he convinced me it was the tires. I had him change my tires and next day he calls back, saying oh your right its is the hubs, both need changing. Ok changes the hubs calls me back next day with a $1,200 dollar bill. Do the math this guy will RIP you off, so you might as well, take your hard earned money and flush it down the toilet. Negative 5 stars to this shop and Chris.

I would recommend this business to anyone. Chris is a star! Friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, helpful and honest. He must have been a boy scout in his youth! ha! His prices are more than good, and they did an excellent job on my car. And I was very pleased getting into my car to drive away to find that they had not only performed excellent work, but had washed, waxed and polished my car inside and out, tires included. It was vacuumed and spotless. And as to any negative reviews, remember 2% of the people are always going to be unhappy about something.

Chris is awesome! We purchased our Dodge from the Gresham Dodge dealership along with a warranty so we had been bringing our vehicle there. Recently we were told by the dealership that we needed to replace a part that was conveniently not covered on the warranty. We went back and forth with them about the misrepresentation of the warranty and ended up deciding to bring our money elsewhere. We brought our vehicle to Chris and within a few hours we received a call telling us that the part that the dealership wanted to replace (hundreds of dollars) was not in fact broken at all. It was an electronic part that merely needed to be reset. Chris saved us hundreds of dollars in repairs! Chriss Car Care is honest, quick, and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Ive been here a couple times, the first time they fixed a gremlin problem I had in my MR2 spider that two other shops were unable to fix, that was about a year ago and I havent had a problem with that sense. The second time I took my car in to get some front end work done, after about a week of breaking it in it had a noise that returned, I called them, they got it right back in and fix a problem. I really appreciate the customer service with this shop and the way they stand behind their workmanship. I would definitely recommend the shop to anyone.

This place is complete garbage. I brought my 99 mazda truck in here and they were doing a head gasket job which not only took over 6 weeks, but was a total hack job. Theres no way any of the mechanics here are legit ASE certified. My CEL has been on since i got the truck back, the exhaust still smells like coolant it leaks from the waterpump and timing chain seal. I was quoted $2200 over the phone, then somehow when i went to pick it up i was told i owe $3600!! I had a REAL mechanic look at it and told me there work was a joke. I couldve done a better job in my driveway. Ill make sure that nobody i know ever comes here. As well, ill be contacting the BBB about this soon.

They do good solid work. They exercise unusual patience towards folks like us with older diesel pickups, as long as one is willing to pay the fair rate for their shop time.

I brought my car in to get checked out after a thumping noise caused me to worry. Though Chris had just worked on the car and no warning lights had come on, he gladly made the time to take a look. I had a 12 hour road trip planned in two days and even though there was more than likely nothing wrong with my car, Chris looked at it right away, despite the shop being very busy. Customers come first with him and I am so greatfull for his efficient hospitality.

This is by far the best place in town.Very honest,great staff they worked on my truck,car,wave runners,boat. These guys do it all .give them a try you wont be disappointed.

I took my 99 mazda b3000 in here about a year ago and i was rather disappointed in the work. I was told it would be $2200 for the head gasket, then it went up another $600 a week later then up to $3300 at the end. Which is ridiculous for a head gasket job. The timing chain is already rattling when it revs past 4k rpms and the check engine light is on for the crank shaft sensor which was another piece you replaced. The valves are slapping super bad at idle and It also still smells like coolant coming out of the exhaust so im assuming you guys didnt seal it right anyway. Its been 1 year and 3500 miles and im about to send it into another shop to have it done right this time. Never again will i come here.

I gave Chris a 1 start only because there’s not a zero optionTook my Volvo wagon to Chris with a radiator issue he said I had a bad head gasket he said he could fix it with a temporary fix cheap option or a full fix much more expensive I opted for the cheap fix 1500.00 dollars yeah cheap price right, I’m thinking he dumped a bottle of sealer in the engine total waste of money,I’m not sure what his cheap fix consisted of my fault for not asking him but what ever he did to fix it didn’t work same water loss problem continued finally my engine blew up he put a new engine (only because there aren’t many Volvo’s mechanics)But when I got my car back with the new engine after 3 weeks and 3400.00 he said with a smirk “I had your car washed for you”.Watch your pocketbook he’s got sticky fingers.

Our family has taken multiple vehicles to Chris’s car care but we will start with my most recent. We bought a ford escape 6 months ago and 3 months after buying it we took it here to have the car looked at for a noise it was making and just have a tune up basically. They didn’t investigate the noise, they did say our rear shocks needed replaced and they say they changed the fluids. Three months after that the engine is blown, timing chain shattered and their is no oil in the engine. When we had somewhere else put a new engine in they noticed the work that was done on the rear suspension was not done properly nor toghtened. This business is a joke and a scam. Somewhere around $15000 on 5 different vehicles and after taken them hear have had to repeatedly have more work done on them or they are not runnning.. I will post another review for my 2nd out of 3 of my own vehicles I have taken hear.

These guys are horriable they where suppose to look at my grandmas AC and tell her what was wrong and they just went a head and did the work and charged her 400 dollars they are the worst kind of people and when I confronted them about it they kicked me a my 16 year old off of there property because they do not want anyone to know the truth. He is the worst person ever you know to call someone before you do the work. I worked in a service department for 4 years, you will pay believe me. If I have to sit or walk up and down Powell with a sign saying how bad you are I will.

They do wonderful work.
